Our president has a bit of a problem with telling the truth. No, let’s be more clear. He’s a pathological liar. Today we see that he’s about to break the promise he so sternly made back on the campaign trail when he said, “The public will have five days to look at every bill that lands on my desk” before he signs it into law. It looks like Obamacare won’t even make it two days.
To recap, in that campaign speech candidate Obama manages to tell seven, count ’em, seven lies in only two minutes.
- Make government ppen and transparent
- Make it “impossible” for congressmen to slip in pork barrel projects
- Meetings where laws are written will be more open to the public
- No more secrecy
- Public will have 5 days to look at a bill before signing
- You’ll know what’s in the bill
- We will put every pork barrel project online
Where’s Congressman Joe Wilson, the most honest man in Washington, when we need him?
