Media Matters, the rabid left wing media “watchdog” group, ran a lengthy, lengthy, lengthy story about Fox and Friends’ biased coverage of the White House’s bribery alleged bribery of Big Labor last week. It carried the shocking headline “Fox & Friends described as fact that the excise tax extension given to unions was a ‘bribe’ for support and votes.”

Hating on Fox News is one thing, but c’mon.

We’re right there with you, Media Matters. How dare those bastards at Fox News be so dishonest? Why, it’s almost like promising that all healthcare negotiations would be carried on C-Span or something crazy like that.

On second thought, if it had been on C-Span Fox News could have proved it was a bribe and removed the sliver of doubt to which Obama apologists like Media Matters so desperately cling.

C-SPAN tells Congress to put or shut up, televise ObamaCare negotiations

The clowns in congress love to see themselves on television. Except when it comes to ObamaCare. Now C-SPAN CEO Brian Lamb has told them to put up or shut up. In so many words. He wrote to leaders in the House and Senate urging them to televise “all important negotiations, including any conference committee meetings.”

He wrote to leaders in the House and Senate urging them to televise “all important negotiations, including any conference committee meetings.”

“The C-SPAN networks,” he added, “will commit the necessary resources to covering all of the sessions LIVE and in their entirety.”

Not gonna happen. Contrary to the President’s pledge of full transparency, it now appears that top Democrats in the House, Senate and White House will work out all the niggling little details behind closed doors before sending this bloated atrocity of a bill back for a final vote.

Hmmmmm. Candidate Obama’s words seem to conflict with President Obama’s actions. Here’s what he said on the campaign trail in a debate with Hillary:

“That’s what I will do in bringing all parties together, not negotiating behind closed doors, but bringing all parties together, and broadcasting those negotiations on C-SPAN so that the American people can see what the choices are.”

In the words of Nancy Pelosi, “Lots of things are said on the campaign trail.”

Translation: “Don’t believe a word we say.”

C-SPAN caller hates the media. Who can blame her?

Leah, a C-SPAN caller from New Hampshire, came on the air saying that she “just wants to clarify a few things about these manufactured angered crowds.”

Not much commentary necessary here. We’ll just let Leah, a C-SPAN caller from New Hampshire, tell you what’s what.

She came on the air saying that she “just wants to clarify a few things about these manufactured angered crowds.” Politico reporter Manu Raju and C-SPAN’s Rob Harrell undoubtedly thought they were going to hear from a disgruntled Democrat.

Instead, Leah took them to school.
