Miss California keeps title:
Trump trashes detractors, she speaks eloquently

Donald Trump defended Miss California Carrie Prejean at a press conference today and announced that she will get to keep her crown.. Then Prejean demonstrated a kind of eloquence and dignity with which Perez Hilton is obviously unfamiliar.

One of the first things Trump said at his press conference was that Carrie’s views on gay marriage are identical to those of President Obama: they both support benefits, equal rights, and civil unions for same-sex couples, but oppose a federal law allowing gay marriage.

Trump said the supposedly “racy” photos of Carrie are nothing more than standard modeling photos and that the “lurid” photos in circulation are PhotoShop phonies.

But the real highlight of the event was Prejean’s impassioned and eloquent speech on what she has been through, her values, and for her desire for free speech and the respect for diverse views by all.

We sat glued to the TV set in awe.

Let us be the first to say it: Carrie Prejean for Congress. Or Fox News. Or whatever the hell this wonderful young woman wants out of life.

Trump’s TV ratings sinking even faster than his real estate empire

celebrity apprentice cast

Poor Donald Trump can’t catch a break. If his current run of luck continues, “poor” may be the most appropriate to describe the real estate mogul and TV personality.

According to the Huffington Post, the second episode of Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” drew an audience 21% smaller than its season premiere episode.

That was about 25% less than ABC-TV’s anemic two hour programming block of “Desperate Housewives” and Brothers and Sisters,” which was also down 19%.

At this rate, it won’t be long until The Donald is spotting eating risotto served up by Michelle Obama.

Trump’s unsuccessful TV show more successful than his real estate empire

donald_trump_hairDonald Trump’s ratings-challenged Apprentice TV show has already been cancelled and brought back from the dead once. His real estate empire may not be so lucky.

The partnership behind the Trump Ocean Resort Baja, a luxury hotel-condo project in Mexico, has gone belly up, costing scores of small investors more than $32 million. Investors have been told they won’t get a penny back.

The Mexican problems couldn’t come at a worse time for Trump. His casino company filed for bankruptcy protection last month. He also having trouble making payments on his Trump International Hotel & Tower in Chicago.

“I can’t even stand to see Trump’s face on TV,” said Linda Drake, one of his Mexican investors.

Who cares about the collapse of his real estate empire? We’re waiting for the collapse of his hair. That’ll be worthy of an hour long special. They’ll replay it over and over in slowmo like one of those imploding buildings.
