Octomom lands a TV deal. For sure. Or maybe. Or not at all. Depends on who you talk to.

Reinout Oerlemans. Why would a nice Dutch man like you inflict Nadya Suleman on the rest of the world?

Nadya Suleman says she’s landed a reality show deal. Or a documentary deal. Or maybe she hasn’t.

“Yes, it is official,” Suleman said. “I’m going to be doing a show, but it’s not a reality show. What I’m doing with this TV show is basically creating documentaries about the lives of my children. It’s going to be an ongoing thing, and it will follow them from now until they are 18. It’s being done by Eyeworks. They’re in the UK. It will air in the UK and then we’ll see if the US is interested.”

Unfortunately, Nadya may have jumped the gun here. No European network has agreed to carry the show and even Eyeworks disputes that it’s reached an agreement.

“At this time we are in active negotiations with Nadya and her attorney for an unscripted format following the life of Nadya and her children,” said Eyeworks CEO Reinout Oerlemans. “Nadya’s story is a unique and exciting one that needs to be told in the right manner…We are confident that we are the right party to tell their story around the world.”

How could the OctoMom story get any wierder?

Another sign of the apocolypse: TV Land premieres “cougar” reality dating show

"Hey, Jimmy, was that your mom I saw whoring herself out for a bunch of young guys on TV Land last night?"
"Hey, Jimmy, was that your mom I saw whoring herself out for a bunch of young guys on TV Land last night?"

If you thought taxes were the worst thing to happen on April 15, think again.

TV Land premiered a new reality dating show called “The Cougar,” in which a 40-year old single mother of four searches for a younger man. A much younger man.

In case you aren’t familiar with the term, the Urban Dictionary defines a cougar as “A 35+ year old female who is on the ‘hunt’ for a much younger, energetic, willing-to-do-anything male. The cougar can frequently be seen in a padded bra, cleavage exposed, propped up against a swanky bar in San Francisco (or other cities) waiting, watching, calculating; gearing up to sink her claws into an innocent young and strapping buck who happens to cross her path.”

Twenty single men will compete to win the affections of this woman who’s twice their age. Week by week, young studs will be eliminated as a result of various weekly challenges.

“The Cougar” is produced by the same geniuses who brought you “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.”

The company is reportedly exploring additional dating shows for gay midget quadriplegics, left-handed Irish transsexuals, and hermaphrodites named Ann and Andy. Stay tuned for more information after these words from our sponsor.

Ted Nugent to hunt human beings on new TV series

"Ted Nugent is looking for you." Words we hope we never hear.
"Ted Nugent is looking for you." Words we hope we never hear.

Yes, you read that headline correctly. The Motor City Madman is starring in a new TV series called “Runnin’ Wild…from Ted Nugent.

It’s one of the oddest TV concepts ever, but would you expect anything less from Mr. Nugent? The “reality-competition” series will show the conservative rock star and hunting advocate teaching ordinary people how to survive in the wild.

Now at this point, you might be saying, “That doesn’t sound so odd.” Not so fast, bucko, because here’s where it starts to get weird.

After he teaches them to survive in the wild, Ted and his 18-year old son Rocco track the contestants down as if they’re wild game.

CMT has ordered eight episodes of “Runnin’ Wild …From Ted Nugent” and the show premieres in August.

If Ted wants to make this show even more fun, he should let viewers vote to determine who he’ll hunt down each week.

Our first nominee is Michael Moore. Who would you choose?
