Last week the Russians sent commandos to deal with a group of Somali pirates who had commandeered a Russian ship.
The pirates quickly found themselves at room temperature and the Russians shrugged their shoulders and said, “They’re dead? Really? Must have been swine flu because we treated them with the utmost respect and courtesy.”
Then there’s this infuriating Associated Press story about how we’re handling a similar group of Somali pirates:
A federal judge has postponed the U.S. trial of six Somali nationals charged with piracy off the coast of Africa to give both sides more time to prepare.
U.S. District Judge Raymond A. Jackson on Thursday pushed back the trial to Oct. 19 from July. The suspects are charged in an April 10 attack on the Navy vessel USS Ashland.
The Somalis, who don’t speak English, are charged with piracy and related counts and could face life in prison if convicted.
The judge cited the potential for having to deal with classified information, the number of defendants, the language barrier and other hurdles in issuing the delay.
That sound you hear is Vladimir Putin laughing his ass off.
That other sound you hear is the vehement tsk-tsking of politically correct European socialists.

I personally find it to be a cop out to be lying about the way they actually died. If it was me I would say "yes they got on my boat and I sent someone to shoot them and they did. You got a problem with that? Please kiss my ass." I wouldn't care what people thought. Heck if someone comes into my home without my permission to steal from me or worst I will not hesitate to shoot and I will admit it. This country better wise up.
GFT, you nailed it. Not much an old fashion guy can do in todays America to right stuff unless a big number are willing to participate. For instance, a passive agressive pansey, metroman can initiate something with words with the confidence that any real man that beats him down to mush will be the one to be in a world of legal shit. Another example, say some piece of shit hurts someone in your family and you kill him or just really fk him up but he lives, guess who's in trouble? Regardless, non of that would stop me.
America is dead. Much like in Europe the marxists and metrosexuals have won, sadly the rest of us aren't willing to do anything but complain about it.
No America is not dead yet. I am willing to do something about it other than complain. People that juts give up and do not endure are the reason why things seem bleak and nothing seems to improve. Even though battles are being lost no one has declared the war won yet.
Er, speak for yourself, please. Some of us are doing everything we can--blogging, petitioning, letter writing, marching, stumping for candidates who believe in our constitutional republic, etc.--despite our own enormous personal responsibilities and obligations.
Europeans can't talk about "racism". They don't even let Muslims build mosques in Europe.
Don't you mean terrorist recruitment and training facilities? There was an uproar in Texas when a mosque was being built. They say it's peace, but with 12 foot stone fences, spiked tops, looks more like a damn prison.
Frankly, while I have known Muslims through my life, one cannot deny the fact that it is in that religion's name that they commit horrific acts, then hide behind that same religion claiming we're just being evil when we say bad things about Islam. Riiiight.
