Germany Is Dismantling A Wind Farm To Make Way For A Coal Mine

Germany Is Dismantling A Wind Farm To Make Way For A Coal Mine. We don’t know whether to file this under “Immense Irony,” “Stupid Greentards,” “No Wonder Germany Lost WW2” or “Russia Russia Russia.” Regardless, they should have listened to Trump about not making deals with Vladimir Putin for natural gas.

A wind farm is being dismantled in western Germany to make way for an expansion of an open-pit lignite coal mine in a “paradoxical” situation highlighting the current prioritization of energy security over clean energy in Europe’s biggest economy.

The dismantling of at least one wind turbine at the wind farm close to the German coal mine Garzweiler, operated by energy giant RWE, has already started. RWE says that lignite, or brown coal, has been mined from the Garzweiler coalfields for over 100 years.

RWE also said at the end of September that three of its lignite-fired coal units that were previously on standby would return to the electricity market on schedule in October.

Turns out, the U.S. doesn’t only rely on Russia for oil imports — it relies on Russia for materials used to make EVs as well.

CNBC reported this week that EV maker Tesla, which is owned by dissident billionaire Elon Musk, has procured materials such as aluminum from a Russian metals giant that was once sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury Department.

Durham report proves Hillary Clinton — not Trump — was Putin’s puppet

Durham report proves Hillary Clinton — not Trump — was Putin’s puppet. Killery strikes again.

It turns out that Clinton and her top foreign policy advisor, Jake Sullivan, spread a bogus Trump-Russia “collusion” narrative. To enable this Soviet-style disinformation campaign, Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign hired a tech firm to “infiltrate” servers at Trump Tower in Manhattan and at the White House in order to link Donald Trump to Russia.

Various “Deep State” operatives, Democratic consultants, Washington Establishment cognoscenti and the media aided Clinton in digging up and then spreading this dirt on Trump. The bogus Steele Dossier was fed by a Russian “researcher,” a former employee of the Brookings Institution think tank, whom the FBI had suspected of having ties to Russian intelligence.

Surprise! The ‘Russian Bounty’ Story Hyped Up By Corrupt Media To Hurt Trump Turned Out To Be Fake News. The surprise would be if they reported something about politics that didn’t turn out to be blatant propaganda.

Last summer, corporate media outlets ranging from the Washington Post and the New York Times to CNN and MSNBC treated the claim from unnamed intelligence sources as gospel truth and used it to fuel their anti-Trump narratives ahead of the 2020 election. These are the same media outlets that peddled false narratives about the debunked Russia collusion hoax.

…and don’t forget them peddling about pee-pee sex with hookers in Russa.

John Durham set to interview John Brennan

John Durham set to interview John Brennan. We hope Brennan is enjoying the butt-pucker he has.

U.S. Attorney John Durham will soon interview former CIA Director John Brennan, another sign that the investigation of the Trump-Russia investigators is ready to wrap up by the end of the summer.

Brennan has acknowledged that he is in the “crosshairs” of the criminal inquiry into the Russia investigation led by Durham. He recently claimed, and the White House acknowledged, that he asked the CIA for his official records, including his personal notes and any classified CIA documents that he had signed to help him write his upcoming memoir, but the agency denied his request.

Clinton’s link to Putin is the underreported ‘dossier’ bombshell. Yes the MSM is hiding out and keep trying to blame Trump.

Here’s the bottom line: We have congressional testimony, under oath, that Clinton hired the same firm to smear Trump that Putin reportedly used to smear Magnitsky. Moreover, we also know that the Fusion GPS dossier relied on senior Russian government officials for much of the dirt it compiled, including “a senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure” and a “former top level intelligence officer still active in the Kremlin.” Together, those are bombshell revelations.

Hot Russian girls urged to strip for Putin to win an iPad

Inviting girls to strip off for Putin for the chance of winning an iPad2, the campaign comes ahead of the March 2012 presidential vote.

Proving that our favorite mucho macho, would-be dictator isn’t all bad, former KGB spook Vladimir Putin has inspired some very attractive ladies to expose their most closely held secrets for the good of the party . . . in their pants.

To paraphrase one  of our least favorite architects of despotism, hotties of the world unite. You’ve nothing to lose but your clothes.

The Telegraph UK better acquaints us with some of these Moscow girls gone wild:

“We will bury you.” Once said by Khrushchev to Americans, now said by Russians to Lenin.

Vladimir Lenin died in 1924, but the Soviet Union tried to keep his memory alive by keeping his preserved body on display in Red Square. If the Russian people have their way – always a questionable prospect – the evil, old Communist will finally be buried.

lenin-body
For 87 years, Lenin's body has been on display in his own personal Madame Tussaudski's Wax Museum

Time has the details:

Seventy percent of Russians voting in an online poll support the removal of the former revolutionary’s body and his burial–totaling 178,022 votes.

To mark Lenin’s 87th anniversary of his death, the goodbyelenin.ru online poll, which attracted votes from 270,000 people, was organized by Russian Prime Minister Putin’s ruling party after one of its members of parliament, Vladimir Medinsky, last week strongly backed Lenins’s burial.

“It’s well known that Lenin himself did not plan to put up any mausoleums to himself, and his living relatives, his brother and sister, were categorically against,” Medinsky was quoted as saying on the poll’s website. “Communists could not care less about what Lenin himself or his relatives wanted.”

Fair is fair. Considering how many Russians were buried as a result of Lenin’s legacy, it’s only fitting that he should be buried, too. Perhaps in Siberia alongside so many of his victims.

Why are we surprised that a former AirAmerica host’s TV show carried on the Russian state-owned TV network?

Even though we know Hartmann is a lunatic lib, we’re still surprised that he would do a TV show for the Russians.

Much to our surprise, former Air America host and left wing lunatic Thom Hartmann is a fan of IHateTheMedia.com. Well, that may be overstating it just a tad, but he is a fan of one particular IHTM story.

thom hartmann
Liberal Thom Hartmann loves conservative IHateTheMedia.com. Sort of.

A couple weeks ago we did a story called The Encounter. It was a parody – a tale of an enhanced TSA pat down disguised as softcore porn.

The Encounter got picked up by a lot of other websites and got a lot of attention.

Rich Albeen, the guy who wrote it, is an old friend of the Editor. Rich was amused when he received his own story in an email from another friend. Then he was enraged when someone else was credited as its author at the bottom of that email. Rich’s son was so irked that he took it upon himself to send an email to or leave a comment on every site that carried it without crediting IHateTheMedia.com and his dad.

Now back to Thom Hartmann. Apparently he has a TV show. A writer for that show tracked down the author The Encounter and the following exchange of emails took place:

Subject: TSA Romance novel

Hi Mr. Albeen –

I’m a writer for the Big Picture with Thom Hartmann – a TV Show on RT America.

I’ve been trying to track the origin of this piece:

“He grasped me firmly but gently just above my elbow and guided me into a room, his room. Then he quietly shut the door and we were alone…”

And it seems like it traces back to a post your (sic) wrote on IHateMedia.com back in November – is that correct? Or did you get it from someone else as well?Any info would be great.

Thanks,

Sam Sacks

Sam,
I wrote the piece, originally titled The Encounter, for my friend … who owns and runs the website www.ihatethemedia.com.

The piece appeared in November.

(The Editor) and I have been friends for years. I’m a professional writer, and (he) asked me to do a piece on the current spate of TSA complaints for his satiric, parody-ish site. I agreed. It was fun.

I never knew it would have the impact that it evidently has. So, in short, I wrote the piece, it was entertaining, and the rest is, well, as you know.

Does this help?

That’s helps a lot Rich – we really got a kick out of it over here and are thinking about using it in a piece on the show…just wanted to give credit to whoever originally wrote – you.

So thanks for the info.

Here’s what Thom Hartmann’s The Big Picture program did with our story. We appreciate the newly-shorn Hartmann’s outstanding reading (he had just the proper degree of quiver in his voice) and the finely-acted final scene. Of course, it would have been nice if he had actually mentioned IHateTheMedia.com, but you can’t win ’em all.

We’re hit whores here at IHateTheMedia.com and we don’t care if Hartman’s a big lib. Our assumption is that almost anyone, regardless of political leanings, would find The Encounter funny. We’d love to have his lefty viewers come over here and leave their loony comments.

But we did wonder about Thom Hartmann’s TV show. We’d never heard of The Big Picture nor a television network called RT America, so we went to the website indicated on Sam Sacks’ email.

rttvamerica.com immediately refers over to another site, rt.com.

RT.com seemed to have a lot of Russian content, so we went to the bottom of the homepage where we found a copyright that said, “TV-Novosti.”

We googled TV-Novosti and found out that it is the Russian state-owned news agency. Here’s how Wikipedia describes it:

Russian International News Agency (RIA Novosti) is a Russian state-owned news agency based in the capital Moscow.

… By a decree of USSR President Mikhail Gorbachev, “On the Establishment of the Information Agency Novosti,” the Information Agency Novosti (IAN) succeeded APN on July 27, 1990. “To provide information support for the USSR’s state domestic and foreign policies and proceeding from the interests of the democratization of the mass media,” the Novosti Press Agency was renamed the Information Agency Novosti (IAN). IAN’s tasks remained the same – preparing and publishing printed, TV and radio materials in the USSR and abroad; studying public opinion on Soviet foreign and domestic policies in the USSR and abroad.”

So the question is, why does Thom Hartmann, an extreme liberal radio talk show host, do a TV show produced by the Russian state-owned network?

The guy’s radio show has about a dozen listeners on a good day, so we’re not surprised that no American TV network is willing to offer him his own show. (Sure, we know that Rachel Maddow came out of AirAmerica, but she had that lesbian thing working for her. Hartmann doesn’t have that advantage).

Call us naïve, but even though we know Hartmann is a lunatic lib, we’re still surprised that he would do a TV show for the Russians. Obviously, his political philosophy is aligned more closely to that of the leftist dictatorship than it is to that of the American people, but what the hey? Do they not even try to hide it anymore?

Only in America, we suppose, would a failed liberal talk show host be given a TV show on a TV network run by an enemy of America.

Russian immigrants joining Republican Party. Hmmmm. Now why would that happen?

You live under an oppressive leftist dictatorship. You escape. You finally make it to America. You look at the two major parties and decide to join one rather than the other. Why would that be?

Those who've lived under Communism erect statues to Ronald Reagan, not Democrats.

SILive.com has the Republican ramifications:

Many Russian immigrants to the “red borough” of Staten Island are flocking to the Republican Party, saying that the national Democrats’ “socialistic” policies remind them too much of the top-down oligarchy they fled in their native land.

With many of the borough’s Russian arrivees already owning businesses and active in civic organizations, their muscle could help the Island GOP solidify electoral gains made this year, when the party took back congressional and Assembly seats.

Let’s see now. They erect statues honoring Ronald Reagan in the former Communist satellite nations. Those who fled Communist Cuba become Republicans. And those who fled the Communist Soviet Union become Republicans.

Seems to be a trend here. One the American left will never understand.

Here we go again: Obama says the START treaty remains his “top priority”

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev can rest assured that B. Hussein Obama is working as hard for the Russian people as he’s working for the American people.

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev can rest assured that B. Hussein Obama is working as hard for the Russian people as he’s working for the American people.

obama-finger
The President assures the Russians that passing the START Treaty is his number one priority

Remarkably, the Associated Press reports on the President’s unprecedented commitment without the slightest hint of a smirk:

President Barack Obama, capping a far-flung Asian trip of mixed results, assured Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on Sunday that getting the Senate to ratify the START nuclear weapons treaty is a “top priority” of his administration.

“I reiterated my commitment to getting the START treaty done during the lame-duck session,” Obama said, noting that Congress returns next week for its postelection session.

In two short years, Obama has developed a long list of top priorities. A very long list, indeed.

As IHateTheMedia.com pointed out back on August 16, 2010, the President has said at various times that almost everything is his top priority, including economic recovery, job creation, free trade agreements, energy security, education reform, student loan reform, exports by small businesses, health assistance to 9/11 first responders, ending homelessness among veterans, hurricane preparedness, H1N1 flu vaccinations, support for military families, strengthening ties with Canada and Mexico, consumer protection and environmental protection.

There may have been other top priorities between August and Sunday, but if so, we glazed over and missed them.

Rest assured that apologizing for this inexcusable oversight is our top priority.

More proof that kissing ass does work in diplomacy. But only for the bad guys.

So who says Obama’s strategy of sanctions on one hand and promises on the other isn’t working? Looks like it’s working fine for Iran and Russia.

This story is slightly confusing, so please bear with us as we attempt to unravel it for you.

It seems that our Diplomat in Chief has advanced beyond mere bowing and scraping and moved on to full-fledged bribery. Mere cuddling up to Vladimir Putin and company wasn’t enough so the Obama administration used something that every Russian mobster understands – cold, hard cash.

ahmadinejad-ass-kissing
Obama kisses Putin's ass. Putin kisses Ahmadinejad's ass. Ahmadinejad laughs his ass off.

According to the Telegraph UK, “The Pentagon plans to buy ten Russian military helicopters for Afghanistan’s fledgling air force at a cost of $180 million (£119 million), ignoring protests from Congressmen who say US aircraft should be considered.”

Oh, sure, a few token Congressmen have a hissy fit because the helicopters are not being purchased from American companies, who as everybody knows, are doing swell these days.

What these sad, pathetic, shortsighted congressmen don’t understand is the fine art of diplomacy. Sure, we’re getting these expensive ass helicopters from Russia, but there’s a good reason – we are trying to win Russia’s support to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. Now do you get it?

In a completely unrelated story, CNN reports that “Russia will start loading a nuclear reactor in Iran with fuel next week, moving the project closer to being complete, both nations said Friday. This event will symbolize that the period of testing is over and the stage of physical start-up has begun,” said Sergei Novikov, spokesman for Russia’s Federal Atomic Energy Agency.”

So who says Obama’s strategy of sanctions on one hand and promises on the other isn’t working? Looks like it’s working fine for Iran and Russia.
