We’d like to nominate “astroturfing” as the next word to be eliminated from the English language. After this story, we hope to never hear or see the word again.
“Astroturfing” is a word created by Obama puppetmaster David Axelrod. It refers to an artificial grassroots movements. That is, highly-organized demonstrations rather than spontaneous ones.
The Democrat mantra has been that the Town Hall protests must be astroturf. Barbara Boxer complained that the protesters were “too well-dressed.” This, of course, from the most regal and condescending of all senators.
Enough of the Democratic talking points. Let’s get back to reality.
These photos tell you everything you need to know about which side of the issue was “organized.” The anti-ObamaCare people look like they’re far more familiar with Jonas Brothers than with Brooks Brothers. The anti-ObamaCare people have signs handmade with cardboard and magic markers while the pro-ObamaCare stooges have professionally-designed and printed posters.
Hmmmmm. That seems backwards. But then, almost everything about this administration seems backwards.

So let me get this straight: If Democrats show up at a rally where one group is giving out a stack of professionally printed signs, that is considered "astroturfing" but when Sarah Palin shows up on Boston Common with THREE buses wrapped end-to-end with a professionally printed "Tea Party" logo, and representation from every single major media outlet (complete with their fleet of satellite trucks), such that the people with television cameras nearly outnumber the protesters, that's considered "grass roots?"
I want to believe that there are really this many Americans getting interested in politics for the first time, I really do. But the level of knowledge among those holding Tea Party signs of what's in the actual health care bill (for example) is...lacking to say the least.
I was at a fake townhall meeting last night where there were loads of fake Obamacare proponents. The contrast between the boxloads of manufactured signs and handmade signs was so blatant it should have been embarrassing.
And worse still, the Obamacare supporters either didn't recognize the hypocrisy or just didn't care. After all, it's about promoting an image in the state run media. They couldn't care less about facts.
Sadly, I forgot to juice the video camera before the fake townhall. So please, everyone remember, juice your "facts machine" and film, film, film. You will no doubt record at least one pummeling by a left wing belligerent.

The Health Care Bill is online....read it! It is a scary document, filled with suppositions that create a genuine "nanny" state. The Government offers supervision for your family from the cradle to the grave. It affects Union worker Healthplans, how business owners choose their health care and the kicker is a 5 year elderly counseling service advising wether old folks should accelerate their quality of life or choose a happy government ending! Fox News, OpEd's and editorials offer info...the rest of the media refuse to ask the tough questions! Bend over and grab your ankles, the Democrats are in charge!
Perhaps her sign "Health Care Can't Wait" indicates a pressing need for some Gold Bond Medicated Powder.
Check out the woman in the right side of the Obama-care supporters picture. What the hell is she doing? Looks like she's attempting to hang her canvas bag in a rather unconnventional fashion.
Hell, the Obama campaign re-defined "grassroots." They point with pride to their well-orchestrated new media strategies using blogs, Twitter and other "grassroots" internet tools. Now they're complaining?
The Dems are like the MSM....they think they can control the message. The Internet has changed everything.
