Zahra Rahnavard, wife of Iranian “reformist” candidate Hossein Mousavi, is often referred to as an agent of change. But this photo of Zahra stomping on homemade flags of Great Britain, the United States and Israel makes you wonder what kind of change they’re talking about.

We don’t often agree with President Obama here at IHateTheMedia.com, but he may have been right on when he said there wasn’t much difference between Achmadinejad and Mousavi. At least there doesn’t appear to be much difference between Achmadinejad and Mousavi’s wife.

I would wish to take this moment to thank our 39th President, Jimmy Carter for being weak in a critical situation & because of the that, turning on the Shah(who was'nt the greatest guy, but way better then what's there now) Setting the stage for the birth of the Islamic Republic of Iran. From what I have heard talking to folks who I know fled Iran at that time, not exactly happy days.
Great job, President Carter, I'm sure this was 1 of the many reason you see yourself as a great President. Fact is, Jimmy Carter is a fool & a clown. He does'nt realize he has done more then any living person to have made the world a very unstable & dangerous place.

There is little difference between Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Mir Hossein Mousavi. Ironically, both are non-clerics wanting to empower the role of non-clerics in the Republic of Iran. Their real intentions? No one knows!!Ahmadinejad has no power in Iran and his every move is to curry favor with Ali Khamenei, Ayatollah and to all intents and purposes Shah of Iran (for a republic, Iran has a LOT of monarchy elements still!). Iran's domestic and foreign policy is all about corruption, deals, negotiation and deviousness. And it has been that way under all the presidents. Mousavi as president would be no different to Ahmadinejad or Khatami or Rafsanjani. Only when Khamenei will go will change occur and maybe not .. because Khamenei's son is being groomed to succeed him. That would really make Iran a monarchy again for sure!All this fake anti-West and anti Israel stuff goes down well with the peasants but all Iranian governments of the past 30 years have sucked up to the West, sold them cheap fuel and did deals with the West when it came to areas both sides did well out of. Iran is more an ally of the West than a whole lot of other countries when the chips are down. That's why the West has not attacked it and it could have attacked it many times.

I am beginning to believe the only real answer is a very large wall all around the Middle East. They stay on their side we stay on ours. Not very practical is it?
It wouldn't be so bad if Muslims just admitted that their religion is a blood thirsty world view that belongs in the darkest dark ages or that the Roman Catholic Church during Middle Ages were a bunch of holy compassionate saints compared to Modern Islam... It's when they talk about "an Islamic garden of faith, justice, and equality" That they get on my nerves.
I believe the Iranian protesters know about Mousavi. After all, he's been President before. They know, however, if the government is allowed to get away with election fraud, why should they even bother showing up at the polling place? Their "freedom" to hold elections is made pointless. It's not because they support Mousavi so vehemently. Their signs say "Where's my vote?" not "We want Mousavi!".
It's not completely fair, anyway. After all, the Ayatollah is the one who picks the candidates. I'm sure they would have chosen someone a lot different than Mousavi. The Iranians will never be free as long as the Ayatollah and his hardline Mulsim followers are in power. If the US were going to do anything about it, we should have done it a long time ago - like in the Carter years. But we all know that would have never happened.
The same crew that sold us on the Iraq adventure are the ones crying out for us to help the Iranian "Greens" in their noble revolution against the evil mullahs. "Well pardon me if I don't shed a tear. They're selling make believe and we don't buy that here!" Because in the real world I could give a rats a$$ about Iran!
