The cybercrime unit of the German state of North-Rhine Westphalia is investigating some 30,000 suspects in a massive online child abuse probe, officials said on Monday.

The state justice ministry said the extent of abuse taking place and being shared online was “deeply disturbing.”

“I hadn’t reckoned with the extent of child abuse on the internet,” said state Justice Minister Peter Beisenbach.

Officers are investigating some 30,000 unknown suspects, the ministry said. “We want to drag perpetrators and supporters of child abuse out of the anonymity of the internet,” said the ministry.

Jackson, 48, of Paterson; Mendez, 45, of Paterson; Shelim Khalique, 51, of Wayne; and Abu Razyen, 21, of Prospect Park, were charged with various voter fraud offenses.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson reported the stepmother of the former Atlanta police officer charged with fatally shooting Rayshard Brooks last week has been fired from her job.

Carlson said a “source familiar with the matter” told his show that Melissa Rolfe, the stepmother of Garrett Rolfe, was let go from an Atlanta-based company called Equity Prime Mortgage, where she had been human resources director.

“Rolfe was promised that her job was safe, but today she was told, and we’re quoting, ‘We have to terminate our relationship with you.’ No other explanation was offered,” he said.

Carlson said, “apparently,” her “only crime was being officer Rolfe’s stepmother.” He noted that Rolfe has been scrubbed from the company’s website.
