• Has Mizz Giraffelo commented on the New Black Panther leader insighting black people to "Kill all crackers... kill all their cracker babies too!"????? Hmmm he sounded pretty racist with that remark to murder white people and their babies. I'm just sayin' :P

  PS: for the most part it's refreshing to see so many people here who are intelligent and articulate as well as very informed. :)

  It’s normal to assume that THIS woman is a racist due to her psychological bent on accusing everyone else of being one. For instance, a liar cannot believe the truth because they suspect all people of lieing. A thief won’t leave his valuables unlocked because he suspects everyone steals. A cheat expects that their spouse or significant other is cheating on THEM, due to the cheater’s own exploits. In all these cases the odds are fractional that the accused fit that which they are accused of. The labeler or name-caller is more times than not, that which they are labeling another with.

  Bravo Mizz Giraffelo, your actions and words reveal much about you.

• In May of 1773 Parliament concocted a clever plan. They gave the struggling East India Co. a monopoly on importation of tea to America. Parliament reduced the duty the colonies wld hv to pay for the imported tea. The Americans wld now get their tea cheaper than ever before. However, if the colonies paid the duty tax on the imported tea they would be acknowledging Parliament's right to tax them. It was assumed that colonists wld rather pay the tax than deny themselves the pleasure of a cup of tea. IF they paid, Parliment could then raise the tax w/o limits making all colonists subject to a despot gov't.
  The colonists were not fooled by Parliament's ploy. When the East India Co sent shipmts of tea to Philadelphia and NY the ships were not allowed to land. In Charleston the tea-laden ships were permitted to dock but the cargo was consigned to warehouse where it remained for three years until it was sold by patriots in order to help finance the revolution.
  In Boston, the arrival of 3 tea ships ignited a furious reaction. The crisis came to a head on December 16, 1773 when as many as 7,000 agitated locals milled about the wharf where the ships were docked. A mass mtg at the Old South Meeting House that morning resolved that the tea ships shld leave the harbor w/o payment of any duty. A committee was selected to take this msg to the Customs House to force release of the ships out of the harbor. The Collector of Customs refused to allow the ships to leave w/o payment of the duty. Stalemate. The committee reported back to the mass meeting and a howl erupted from the meeting hall. It was now early evening and a group of about 200 men assembled on a near-by hill. Whoopping war chants, the crowd marched two-by-two to the wharf, descended upon the 3 ships and dumped their offending cargos of tea into the harbor waters.
  Before you discredit or attempt to REVISE this account like most of todays professors do (not teachers as they avoid it altogether), keep this in mind. There are still ancestors around of people who actually attended this event, many infact.

I am willing to say that there is a chance that within the tea party ranks there are individuals and small pockets of people who may have racism as motivation for aligning themselves with the tea parties. However they are either summarily taken out or else they keep quiet, because the OVERALL majority of the tea party people are not racists, nor do they spew racism nor they align themselves with racism. You and whats her name have no proof that the tea party is a racist movement. She doesn't know that because she cannot know what everyone thinks and the actual EXAMPLE OF THEIR BEHAVIORS is very contrary to racism. You agreeing with her is not helping people nor putting forward any solutions in fact you are pointing fingers something you are against so that makes you an hypocrite.

  • You want to do good, Keith? Then start getting involved enuf to be able to discern the half-truths, soundbites, and lies from the actual truth. It can be done. Watch Cspan then when there is a news-worthy issue on, then turn your channel to Msnbc, then cnn, then cnbc, then fox. You will find that more times than not fox does have more of the actual whole story than the other networks. I swear, man.. I'm a seeker of truth and suspicious of much in my line of work. You really need to look at what the underlying agenda is. The mainstream media funded mr. obama's campaign of course they are going to bend over backwards to shine him in a good light and anyonen who oppose him in a bad one. The media is not a news outlet anymore, they are political. Fox has had to keep up with that but for the most part they ARE indeed more truthful and accurate than the others. Also, Glenn Beck is not really a loon. If you'd just watch his show you'd see all his research is factual but you wouldn't kno it if you watch the deceptive stations. I hope you come to realize this sooner rather than later. Peace out.

• I was raised to believe that racism is when you bring race into a discussion, or make it an issue at all. She made race an issue, therefore, she is the racist one.

  I do find it mildly amusing, however, when celebrities make idiots of themselves with political deductions.
  (And, btw, I'm white, and was born in Georgia, does that make me a "t-Bagging Racist?" If so, I've got to go apologize to my black friends... and irish friends...)

• Politicians & media did their best to discredit the Tea Parties by describing them, first, as a partisan Republican movement, and, second, as a revolt of greedy rich people who don't want to pay more income tax...

  But as I saw - and anyone who went to a Tea Party with an open mind would have seen as well - the Tea Parties did not consist of any ONE party. These Bi-partisan protestors were as disgusted with big spending under President Bush as they are opposed to big spending under the present administration. This was a powerful movement of Americans who are fed up with the irresponsible politicians from BOTH parties. In some places, politicians were barred from speaking and forced to listen to US for once in a very long time!

  Alarmed at the Growing Burden of Government on ALL Americans Tea Party participants were not simply angry about higher federal income taxes. They were alarmed at the burden of this growing government on ALL Americans, & the nation we are leaving to our children. Taxing future generations to pay for THESE POLITICIANS' irresponsible spending is the epitome of "taxation without representation" which was precisely in line with the spirit of the Boston Tea Party in 1773!!! The fact that the majority of Americans are not being represented accurately should alarm ALL of us! WHY DOESN'T IT?

  What the elite media missed is that state and local taxes are going up for EVERYONE. For petesake watch CSPAN! Add that to higher gasoline taxes, corporate taxes, death taxes, Social Security and Medicare taxes, and the very real threat of an energy tax. No wonder anyone with a brain wanted their voices to be heard!

  The Obama budget being negotiated in a House-Senate Conference Committee this week projects an astounding $9 trillion increase in federal DEBT over the next eight years!! Since no one expects the politicians in control of Washington to CUT spending, this level of debt guarantees higher taxes for the middle class AND higher inflation for EVERYONE! HELLO! Higher taxes & higher inflation means less income, less savings, and almost no economic opportunities for EVERY person in America!!! Yes even those of you who opposed me protesting against this castistrophic future of yours! DUH!

  The majority of the media DIDN'T want you to understand this! The Americans at the Tea Parties last week did! Thanks a lot for your lack of support and understanding! You just shot yourselves in the foot! WAKE UP!
