The funniest part of the interview is that Monckton demolishes the activist in that very polite, very dignified way only an Englishman could pull off.

I would like to say that even though I personally believe in climate change, caused for whatever reason, I will not get all preachy. I do think though, that she is NOT one of the smarter activists. This also shows the good side of Lord Monckton, though to be fair, he does have a bad side. At one point in the conference, when a activist group interrupted a talk he was participating in (which I find rude and detrimental to finding a solution both sides of this argument can agree on). The next day he went to calmly discuss it with the group at their booth. When one of the activists comes up to him and introduces himself, Lord Monckton calls him Hitler Youth. The man is Jewish, so I find that completely out of line. He continues to call him Hitler Youth, even though the man agrees with him on the point of bio-fuels. When the man tries to give him his card so that they could continue to talk, Lord Monckton refuses and walks away. I think that Lord Monckton should have been politer in that encounter, and instead of calling them Hitler Youth, call them rude, ruffians, impolite, and such. But to call them Hitler Youth and to allow himself to be flustered by them is sad. Sorry if I ruffled any feathers, I just wanted to present my point as neutrally as possible. (Btw Bio-fuels are shit, they are a waste of land, food, and you still need some oil to make them, and after all this they still release some CO2. Pretty much only ignorant people, idiots or radical PETA member who don't know what they are talking about think they are a viable alternative. We should use wind turbines out of bird migration paths or off the coast in non beach goer areas, or solar panels away from water sources and the crevices desert creatures reside in.)
Clearly if you can't amaze them with your briliance just baffle them with your ignorance. She played it well. She should go and claim her ticket back from the airline
The real sad part is the death of neutral point of view. Even in Wikipedia, the editors take sides and trash people who do not agree with their political agendas. More importantly, media pundits and experts are satisfied with reading a quick dossier from Greenpeace to affirm their opinion and use as a base for news articles or broadcasts.
There no longer exists the verification of information, and actual research is hardly ever to be found nowadays. It's all empirical in these days of the easy info of your taste on the internet. No need to look far and wide, you will always find a pat on the back and an echo to your bias within easy reach. And it has the luster of a formal web page to make you feel good.
No wonder we're in the pickle we're in.

At least when it comes to G-d existing or not there is no scientific nor philosophical reasoning that can truly and absolutely 100% disprove His existence. It leads to an echec. But if it can be proven with absolute facts that this shit is whack she wont believe it, but I am sure that she will be quick to disbelief in the existence of G-d instead believing thatthe mathematically impossible knocking of stones at a certain period of time lead to a complex planet being formed and simple to more complex lifeforms developing thereafter... right.

I dont want to sound well mean... but if Katrina hadn't yielded scenes of Black poor people she wouldnt be mentioning it. I am black and I know that it hurt to see so many people without homes, etc, but Katrina affected more than just Louisiana also I have seen devastations of Hurricaines all over the world (like the Big Tsunami a few years ago where MORE people died and MORE people were left without homes) and no one talks about it... they go to katrina first why?
I also loved how Lord Monckton didnt react negatively OR got tangled or bated by the bitch norwegian when she insulted him UNASKED for at least at that point in time. That is a liberal thing, insult the person if you feel threatened by facts and intelligence... It is disgusting.

When I was child it was Global Warming where by the time I became an adult which is now if nothing changed we will be living in deserts and will be so hot and dying in the streets and be without fresh water and so on and so forth.
