Piers Morgan thinks a tyrannical U.S. government is impossible

Piers Morgan is obviously still filled with helpless shame after losing that gun-control debate to Ben Shapiro, because he’s still coming up with stuff he thinks he should’ve said that night. That’s why, instead of keeping it to himself, he delighted us all with this: America has over 5000 nuclear warheads. Quite hard to defend against a ‘tyrannical U.S. government’ with that kind of firepower. #GetReal. No worries there. We’ll just make sure to pass some very serious anti-fallout legislation before the nuking begins. That should be sufficient to keep everybody safe. #PiersFail.

Journal News gun permit map used by burglars to target White Plains home?

Journal News gun permit map used by burglars to target White Plains home? “A White Plains residence pinpointed on a controversial handgun permit database was burglarized Saturday, and the burglars’ target was the homeowner’s gun safe.” In other news, “Fecal matter mailed to [Journal News] editor CynDee Royle.” Sending fecal matter to an a***ole – how ironic.

Harry Reid’s name surfaces in bribery case

Harry Reid’s name surfaces in bribery case. “Embattled St. George businessman Jeremy Johnson says new Utah Attorney General John Swallow helped broker a deal in 2010 in which Johnson believed he was to pay Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid $600,000 to make a federal investigation into Johnson’s company go away.” Probably just a guilt by association thing – we’re sure the media wouldn’t even bring it up if Harry were a Republican.

Republican establishment declares war on GOP voters

Republican establishment declares war on GOP voters. “As seen from the halls of power, the problem is that Republican voters think it’s OK to replace incumbent senators and congressman who don’t represent the views of their constituents.” “The Republican establishment has two choices. They can act as mature party leaders of a national political party, or they can protect their own self-interest.” Any guesses as to which they’ll pick? Stop laughing.

Pretend Gun Control

Pretend Gun Control. “For instance, the ‘gun-free’ school zone is a victory in disarming people in the same way that getting all countries except North Korea and Iran to destroy their nuclear weapons would be a victory in nuclear disarmament.” “Something” must be done and that something will not work anyway so let’s ban something that doesn’t exist and declare “problem solved.” Sounds like the perfect solution for today’s sound-bite-driven low-information society.

Krugman: Recession Could Be Solved In Just Two Years If We Spent More

Krugman: Recession Could Be Solved In Just Two Years If We Spent More: How many times does this ass-clown have to be wrong before we stop listening to him? How many times can he use the same the same lie to justify this ongoing theft of our savings, labor and property?

Oscar-Nominated ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ Picketed By People Who Say Movie Advocates Torture

Oscar-Nominated ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ Picketed By People Who Say Movie Advocates Torture: What do you do when you can’t protest wars, civil liberties abuses, the possibility of indefinite detentions for American citizens (under the NDAA), kill lists and killer drones because Barack Obama is the President? You protest a movie instead.

Prosecutor who gave David Gregory a pass is family friend

Prosecutor who gave David Gregory a pass is family friend. “It is shameful that the politicians running the nation’s capital have sent the clear message that there are two systems of justice in the city: one for the rich and powerful and one for everyone else.” Just ask US Army veteran James Brinkley, who is still grappling with the fallout from his arrest last year on the same charge, about that. BTW, Brinkley is black. Where’s Al Sharpton and the “speaking truth to power” crowd?

Media rattled by coming layoffs at the NYT

Media rattled by coming layoffs at the NYT. Why “rattled”? “…it’s a matter of the Times being the canary in the coal mine. And what happens to the Times in January will happen to MSNBC and Politico in August.” “They shouldn’t worry too much about being fired – after all, this is a vigorous, growing economy with lots of opportunity for work, as they reported throughout the past three years.” This just in: “Time Inc. Will Lay Off 700 After 5% Ad Decline.” Unexpectedly!

IRS warns employers: Do not try to avoid ObamaCare insurance mandate

IRS warns employers: Do not try to avoid ObamaCare insurance mandate. “The IRS said it would issue a so-called ‘anti-abuse rule’ in an attempt to prevent employers from using temp agencies to circumvent the mandate…” Wonder how the IRS feels about employers moving production to China?

Surprise – Electronic medical records turn out to potentially add costs rather than reduce them

Surprise – Electronic medical records turn out to potentially add costs rather than reduce them. A 2005 RAND study said digital medical records would save $81 billion a year – a study coincidentally “paid for by a group of companies, including General Electric and Cerner Corporation, that have profited by developing and selling electronic records systems to hospitals and physician practices.” Another key ObamaCare initiative flops – unexpectedly.

Surprise – David Gregory will not be prosecuted

Surprise – David Gregory will not be prosecuted. “OAG has made this determination, despite the clarity of the violation of this important law, because under all of the circumstances here a prosecution would not promote public safety in the District of Columbia nor serve the best interests of the people of the District to whom this office owes its trust.” In other words, Gregory’s a media personality (who provides cover for the Administration) and you’re not. Gregory’s lawyer did receive a sternly-worded letter. That’ll show ‘im.

Reports of hit list probed in CA school shooting

Reports of hit list probed in CA school shooting. We have to ask what the heck is wrong with school teachers these days? Why? Well, we had a kid suspended recently for having an “assault finger’ and now we find out this kid had a hit list and was let back in school. Evidently colleges need a class titled Common Sense 101 that school teachers and administrators need to pass before they get a teaching credential. It also appears what the school bullies were doing to this child may have been ignored by the staff.

Bloomberg restricts painkillers in city hospitals

Bloomberg.jpg
Bloomberg restricts painkillers in city hospitals. “Supposing it is really true you didn’t get enough painkillers and you did have to suffer a little bit,” said New York’s leader. “The other side of the coin is people are dying and there’s nothing perfect.” In other words, so what if you suffer. The Führer wants to keep pills away from drug abusers and that’s all that matters.
