Anita Dunn said that the White House criticism has been effective in preventing other networks from picking up stories broken by Fox.
Anita Dunn even tilts to the left in her photos
Remember when some wit said we should end the war in Vietnam by simply taking the troops home and announcing that we’d won? Former White House Communications Director Anita Dunn seems to be using the same philosophy in the President’s War on Fox.
Verum Serum has the details:
[S]he said that the White House criticism has been effective in preventing other networks from picking up stories broken by Fox.
“It did help people get a sense of perspective again,” Dunn said. “People took a step back and said, ‘Hmm, am I really wanting to go chase those stories?’”
Actually, Anita, what people did was take a step back and say, “Hmm, if Obama can figure out a strategy for a war with Fox, why can’t he figure out a strategy for the war in Afghanistan?”
The war between President Obama and Fox News is over. And it ended exactly as most observers expected: President Obama surrendered faster than the French army. According to Drudge, Major Garrett will conduct the interview next week during the President’s China visit.

Oddly enough, this happens the day after White House Propaganda Communications Director Anita Dunn, the Joseph Goebbels of the Obama administration, announced that she was leaving the White House.
But please do not make the mistake of thinking that Dunn’s “resignation” had anything to do with the Fox News dust up that she directed. Of course not.
In fact, she will return to the White House as a “consultant,” which allows the White House to count this as yet another job created or saved.
Last week’s Anita Dunn headline was “White House escalates war on Fox News.” This week’s Anita Dunn headline is “White House admits: We ‘control’ news media.” The latter certainly goes a long way toward explaining the former.

Here’s how World Net Daily reports the story:
Anita Dunn, the White House Communications Director who declared war on Fox News, inadvertently revealed the truth behind the effort to silence the network. She says the Obama administration “controls” the media.
President Obama’s presidential campaign focused on “making” the news media cover certain issues while rarely communicating anything to the press unless it was “controlled,” White House Communications Director Anita Dunn disclosed to the Dominican government at a videotaped conference.
“Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn’t absolutely control,” said Dunn.
“One of the reasons we did so many of the David Plouffe videos was not just for our supporters, but also because it was a way for us to get our message out without having to actually talk to reporters,” said Dunn, referring to Plouffe, who was Obama’s chief campaign manager.
“We just put that out there and made them write what Plouffe had said as opposed to Plouffe doing an interview with a reporter. So it was very much we controlled it as opposed to the press controlled it,” Dunn said.
Continued Dunn: “Whether it was a David Plouffe video or an Obama speech, a huge part of our press strategy was focused on making the media cover what Obama was actually saying as opposed to why the campaign was saying it, what the tactic was. … Making the press cover what we were saying.”
Sure, Anita. Like you really had to twist the media’s arms to get positive coverage for Obama. And Fox, the only apparent voice of dissent in the country, must now be silenced because it cannot be controlled.
Is there still anyone out there who doesn’t find this administration frightening?
“The guy responsible for more deaths than any other 20th Century leader is her favorite philosopher,” Glenn Beck raged. “How can that man be your favorite anything?
“The guy responsible for more deaths than any other 20th Century leader is her favorite philosopher,” Glenn Beck raged. “How can that man be your favorite anything? He killed 70 million people. That would be like me saying to you, “Hah. You know who my favorite political philosopher is? Adolf Hitler. Have you read Mein Kampf?”
By this time tomorrow, Keith Olbermann will name Glenn Beck the World’s Worst Person and quote him as saying that Adolf Hitler is his favorite philosopher.
