The captions almost write themselves. This ad used to be so innocent. So pedestrian. (It’s in an outdoor mall!)
Now because of circumstances beyond the advertiser’s control (Tiger’s lack of zipper control), the ad has taken on an unwanted double meaning.
It must be an old ad. It was up during the Masters tournament. It’s still up. (I just checked.)By now, you’ve probably seen or heard about the controversial Nike commercial that ran during Tiger’s “comeback” at the Masters. A creepy back-from-the-dead subconscious confrontation by Tiger’s philandering father: “Did you learn anything, Tiger?”
