Pity CNN reporter Lisa DesJardins.
She drew the unenviable task of representing the left wing cable news network at Saturday’s massive right wing gathering in Washington, DC. The crowd let her know exactly what they think of her network’s “creative” reporting.
The highlight is when the crowd taunts CNN by repeatedly chanting the name “Glenn Beck” in honor of the former CNN host who has now become a huge ratings success at rival Fox News.
They also chanted “Tell the truth” and “No more lies,” much to the dismay of the frustrated DesJardins.
It’s beautiful to watch.

I have video from the 4th of July DC Tea Party of the crowd shouting down another reporter from CNN - he didn't fare any better than this woman did, only that time they were shouting "State-Run Media, State-Run Media!" It was a beautiful thing, really - the guy onstage caught wind of what the ruckus was about and he said how CNN had covered the tea party once before only to go trash the protestors on television. So we didn't need CNN covering it and we didn't give a crap if they covered it - we were there, he said, to get the attention of the American people, NOT of the media. I'm sorry I missed this one but circumstances prevented me going this time.
