Top 12 debunked climate alarmist myths of 2018

Top 12 debunked climate alarmist myths of 2018. Funny how the mainstream media never reports on the actual scientific progress which debunks Global Warming, but if some yahoo shrieks about ice melting in a particular spot in Antarctica it’s front page in every newspaper.

Oops, NASA Finds Mantle Plume Melting Antarctica From Below, not ‘global warming’

Oops, NASA Finds Mantle Plume Melting Antarctica From Below, not ‘global warming.’ Another chink in the global warming scam.

A mantle plume producing almost as much heat as Yellowstone supervolcano appears to be melting part of West Antarctica from beneath.

Researchers at NASA have discovered a huge upwelling of hot rock under Marie Byrd Land, which lies between the Ross Ice Shelf and the Ross Sea, is creating vast lakes and rivers under the ice sheet. The presence of a huge mantle plume could explain why the region is so unstable today, and why it collapsed so quickly at the end of the last Ice Age, 11,000 years ago.

Reviewer, review thyself: More global warming corruption exposed

Does even a week go by when we don’t discover yet another bit of corruption in the global warming scam? Can we finally come right out and say the whole thing is the greatest scientific fraud since the Piltdown Man?

Don't worry, little fellas, that's not global warming. That's just Al Gore blowing hot air.

The Spectator sums up the latest scandal:

In January 2009, Nature magazine ran a cover story … conveying dramatic news about Antarctica: that most of it had warmed significantly over the last half-century. For years, the data from this frozen continent – with 90 percent of the world’s ice mass – had stubbornly refused to corroborate the global warming narrative. So the study, led by Eric Steig of the University of Washington, was treated as a bit of a scoop. It reverberated around the world. Gavin Schmidt, from the RealClimate blog, declared that Antarctica had silenced the sceptics. Mission, it seemed, was accomplished: Antarctica was no longer an embarrassment to the global warming narrative.

He spoke too soon. The indefatigable Steve McIntyre started to scrutinise his followings along with Nicholas Lewis. They found several flaws: Steig et al had used too few data sequences to speak for an entire continent, and had processed the data in a very questionable way. But when they wanted to correct him, in another journal, they quickly ran into an inconvenient truth about global warming: the high priests do not like refutation. To have their critique of Steig’s work published, they needed to assuage the many demands of an anonymous ‘Reviewer A’ – whom they later found out to be Steig himself.

In a similar vein, independent critics agree that IHateTheMedia.com is the greatest website in history.

Who are those critics? We’d rather not say, but since you bring it up, it may be the Editor and the Administrator.

Now go let your gas guzzler idle in the driveway and flip on all your incandescent light bulbs. The global warming scam is over.

Eco-wacko alert: First the glaciers cried, now they bleed

Back in September we reported the story of the crying glacier that supposedly symbolized the emotional trauma global warming was causing the earth. Well, hell’s bells, man, what will the eco-wackos say about this bleeding glacier in Antarctica?

Antarctica glacier bleeds

Back in September we reported the story of the crying glacier that supposedly symbolized the emotional trauma global warming was causing the earth.

Well, hell’s bells, man, what will the eco-wackos say about this bleeding glacier in Antarctica?

WebEcoist.com reports the Southern Hemisphere’s hemoglobic happenings:

The waters beneath Taylor’s Glacier are a kind of ancient time capsule where a community of microorganisms was able to develop and evolve in an environment not found anywhere else on Earth. When the lake was trapped under the glacier some 1.5 – 2 million years ago, some simple life forms were trapped in it. The subglacial lake contains no oxygen, but is home to at least 17 different types of microorganisms. The water is hyper-salinated (very salty), and its unusual coloring is due to its high iron content, which instantly rusts upon being exposed to air outside of its closed-in origin, creating the blood red waterfall. The strange and inhospitable conditions in the subglacial lake had led researchers to wonder just how all of those microorganisms could have survived in the extremely cold, airless, completely dark environment for so long.

No, it’s not natural. It’s not. It’s caused by man, damn it. Man is making the planet bleed. And the only way to stop it is to raise taxes and make Al Gore even richer.

Yeah, that’s the answer.

Boondoggle of the Year: 10 members of congress blow $500,000 on global warming “fact finding mission”

Ten members of Congress spent $500,000 – according to Wall Street Journal estimates – on an 11-day global warming fact finding mission over New Year’s 2008.

Naturally, they couldn’t study global warming without their wives, so six spouses also went on the trip to Antarctica, Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, and Hawaii.
