John Kerry looks and acts French, says we shouldn’t defend ourselves against Russian nukes

John Kerry does not believe it desirable to have a missile defense system that renders Russian nukes useless.

Democrats would have the American people believe their candidates are geniuses. Why, they’ll have to give up the presidency of Mensa to take on the presidency of the United States.

Like John Kerry, for example. This genius served in Vietnam, but based on his answer to Jim DeMint’s question, one would think he served with the French in their defeat at Dien Bien Phu.

DeMint: Is it not desirable for us to have a missile defense system that renders their threat useless?

Kerry: I don’t personally think so. No.

The clip is short, just nine seconds. Watch it several times. Because you won’t believe Kerry’s answer to Jim DeMint’s question. DeMint certainly can’t believe it.

Rick Sanchez doesn’t like freedom. Tells Republican Senator Jim Demint, “You have to do better than that.”

Republican Senator Jim Demint ventured into unfriendly territory and appeared on CNN with Rick Sanchez the other day. He made the mistake of saying that the Republicans would rise again by emphasizing freedom.

Sanchez took exception to that concept.

“Freedom? Freedom? What the hell does that mean?” Sanchez blurted. “You have to do better than that.”

Interesting that a CNN anchor would needs to ask a Republican to explain freedom and then say it’s not good enough. This mindset may explain why Fox has left CNN so far behind in the ratings.

You want something better than freedom, Rick? How about freedom with sugar on top. Or freedom three easy monthly payments of $19.95. Or freedom with fries on the side. Or freedom wrapped in thousand dollar bills. Or maybe even freedom to sound stupid on national television.

Geithner admits AIG bonus plan was his baby, DeMint wants him fired

Just a few short weeks ago, we were told that Timothy Geithner was “the only man who understands how the TARP works.” His nomination was just toooooooo important to fail. The fate of the world rested in his capable hands.

Uh-oh. Now we find out he was the Einstein behind the AIG bonuses. It was his baby, baby.

Keep in mind, the number of Republicans who voted for this fiasco could meet in a phone booth.

Republican Senator Jim DeMint has had enough. He’s had it up to here. He’s calling on President Obama to cut his losses and send Geithner off on an early retirement before he does any more damage.

The first video shows Geithner ‘fessing up. The second video shows DeMint freaking out.

Fairness Doctrine: Senator DeMint tells Dems to put up or shut up

jim_demintThe Obama administration may have said it wouldn’t attempt to revive the Fairness Doctrine, but that’s not enough for Republican Senator Jim DeMint of South Carolina. He wants to force Senate Democrats to put up or shut up.

In order to prevent the FCC from reinstating the Fairness Doctrine, DeMint will propose the Broadcaster Freedom Act as an amendment to the D.C. Voting Rights bill.

“I’m glad President Obama finally confirmed his opposition to the Fairness Doctrine, which attacks the right of free speech on talk radio,” DeMint said, “but many Democrats in Congress are still pushing it…now is the time for Congress to take a stand against this kind of censorship. I intend to seek a vote on this amendment next week so every senator is on record: Do you support free speech or do you want to silence voices you disagree with?”

We’d guess DeMint is surely hoping the vote will take place before Al Franken can be seated in the Senate. There’s no shutting that guy up.
