Sure, Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s critics say he’s just a publicity hound. But he must be doing something right because the people of Maricopa County, Arizona keep re-electing him over and over again.

Americans line up for jobs illegal aliens won’t do (anymore)

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has created a whole bunch of jobs by raiding Phoenix restaurants and arresting dozens of illegal aliens for identity theft crimes.

We doubt that President Obama has saved or created any jobs for Americans, but we know for a fact that Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has. Fact is, he created a whole bunch of ’em by raiding Phoenix restaurants and arresting dozens of illegal aliens for identity theft crimes.

Voila! Jobs for Americans.

Ahhh, but what about the old canard that illegal aliens do jobs that Americans won’t do? “Crap,” said one woman with a Masters degree who was willing to take one of the $8 per hour jobs being offered at Phoenix’ Pei Wei Chinese restaurant.

Liberals, as always, contradict themselves when it comes to jobs and illegal aliens. On one hand they say, “There are no jobs.” On the other hand they say, “Illegal aliens do the jobs that Americans won’t do.”

Which is it? Choose one. Because you can’t have it both ways.

“I want the public to call 1-800-4SONORA & demand to know the meaning of this ad that was in the AZ Republic today http://twitpic.com/1ptueq”

Surely the ad means that when they spot a tourist from Arizona, they’ll buy him a nice cool cerveza and a delicious taco dinner courtesy of the Federales.

You gotta love Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. If he’d been around in the old west, he probably would have just pulled out his six shooter and solved problems with a little lead. These days, he has to use more civilized means.

Race monger Al Sharpton announced that he was going to lead a protest against Arpaio in an attempt to force his resignation. We’re not sure why Sharpton’s upset, but we don’t really care.

Here’s one paragraph from Arpaio’s hilarious letter to Sharpton:

“Your public proclamation leads me to the conclusion: not only do you not understand Arizona; you also do not understand democracy. As the elected Sheriff who, so far has been elected to five consecutive four-year terms, I answer to the four million residents of Maricopa County. I do not answer to the whims of the media, or locally and nationally elected officials who want open borders and who have their own agendas. Nor do I answer to a publicity hound outside interloper who has demonstrated no interest in looking for the truth before making loud uninformed noises.”

We pray that Sharpton breaks some law while he’s leading a protest in Phoenix. He’d look a lot better in one of Sheriff Joe’s pink jumpsuits than he does in those $2,000 suits he usually wears.
