Small town Missouri newspaper ‘The Uranus Examiner’ shuts down after only two months, blaming ‘judgmental people’ for its demise. Well we guess their Uranus wasn’t very good looking.

Democratic fundraiser Matthew Lieberman charged with racially motivated gun crime in St. Louis

Democratic fundraiser Matthew Lieberman charged with racially motivated gun crime in St. Louis. Yet another cray-cray Democrat going wild with a gun yelling racial slur and shooting at innocent people. Perhaps they should just have gun-control restrictions apply to Democrats.

Desperate Democrat sends out campaign email saying is opponent is worse than a rat

Jim Carville sent out a fundraising e-mail for Missouri Senate candidate Robin Carnahan (D), in which he offered reasons for why Roy Blunt is the wrong choice as the next Missouri senator.

Democrats see the Missouri senate race slipping away, so they brought in James Carville to rescue their candidate. That may have been a mistake.

"I'm Robin Carnahan and my opponent is worse than a rat. So is my consultant."

The Hill reports Carville’s contribution:

Democratic strategist James Carville said he would rather have a rat for a senator than Rep. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.).

Carville sent out a fundraising e-mail for Missouri Senate candidate Robin Carnahan (D), in which he offered reasons for why Blunt is the wrong choice as the next Missouri senator.

“In my years working in politics, I’ve seen things that really made me angry, but the level of misdirection and the outright lies perpetrated by Congressman Blunt’s campaign and his fat cat buddies are enough to make me start spluttering,” said Carville.

He wrote: “If I had to pick either the rat or Congressman Blunt to represent me in the US Senate, I’d take the rat seven days a week and twice on Sunday.”

And since he’s a Democrat, he’d also have the rat vote several times on Tuesday.

Juan Williams says Missouri’s anti-ObamaCare vote is meaningless: “Only old white people voted for it”

You know that anti-ObamaCare vote in Missouri last week? The one that got 71% of the vote? Meaningless, according to Fox News’ Juan Williams, because those who voted didn’t reflect an accurate sampling of Missouri’s ethic mix.

You know that anti-ObamaCare vote in Missouri last week? The one that got 71% of the vote? Meaningless, according to Fox News’ Juan Williams, because those who voted didn’t reflect an accurate sampling of Missouri’s ethic mix.

“As far as the Missouri vote, you get 70 percent inside an echo chamber of older white people, no not in St. Louis not in Kansas City, saying, ‘Oh yeah, we don’t like a requirement that everybody has to have healthcare even though the hospitals in Missouri say it’s gonna drive up our costs.’”

On a similar note, the results of last night’s Dodgers game didn’t count because the team’s roster doesn’t include enough black guys. And don’t bother paying the bills you got in the mail today. The post office doesn’t have enough Hispanics. And while we’re at it, let’s wipe the Renaissance out of the history books. Too many white guys.

The people speak: ObamaCare loses its first vote, Missourians overwhelmingly vote to opt out

Missouri’s Proposition C, dubbed the “anti-ObamaCare law”, would create a new state law against federal mandates that require people to buy health insurance. It passed last night by nearly a 3-to-1 margin

Missouri’s Proposition C, dubbed the “anti-ObamaCare law,” would create a new state law against federal mandates that require people to buy health insurance. It passed last night by nearly a 3-to-1 margin.

The final tally: 620,284 (72.7%) against ObamaCare and a mere 233,118 (27.3%) in favor.

Consider this a shot across the bow of the U.S.S. Obama. Consider it a preview of November. Consider it Lexington of the Second American Revolution. Consider us out of metaphors.

Fox4KC reports the overwhelming ObamaCare opt out:

All eyes will be on Missouri’s Proposition C results because it’s the first time voters in the country vote for or against the new federal health care law. Basically Proposition C would create a state law against federal mandates requiring people to buy health insurance.

Missouri’s top U.S. Senate candidates are divided on the measure. If passed, it will will reject part of the new federal health care law. Republicans Roy Blunt and Chuck Purgason both support Proposition C. Democrat Robin Carnahan plans to vote against it.

Notice the liberal slant even in this local Fox News report. They interview two people: One says he’s against Measure C because he needs healthcare and the other says, “I support it, but it’ll never work.”

We can’t have a second American Revolution without some of those cool little tri-corner hats. Anybody know where we can get one?

Good news! We’ve finally found a member of Congress dumber than Nancy Pelosi

Missouri’s Democrat Congressman Russ Carnahan, for his role as Barack Obama’s pathetic bootlicking Obamacare lacky, is the dumbest congressperson.

And the award goes to…Missouri’s Democrat Congressman Russ Carnahan for his role as Barack Obama’s pathetic bootlicking lacky.

Carnahan recently held a meeting in his home district to drum up support for ObamaCare.

“The overall cost of the package has been estimated at about a trillion dollars over ten years,” Carnahan said. “About half of that comes from savings and efficiencies in the system.”

The audience broke into laughter.

Undeterred by reality, Carnahan continued. “The congressional budget office most recently came out and analyzed the current plan and said that it was not only deficit neutral, which has been one of the important factors for the president and congressional leaders,” Carnahan continued, “but also that over ten years would create a six billion dollar surplus.”

The audience broke into even more raucous laughter.

Carnahan continued his unintentional laughfest when someone – apparently blogger Kevin Jackson of TheBlackSphere.net – hollered out the logical question, “If it’s so good why doesn’t Congress have to be on it?”

Why, indeed, Congressman?
