Mom was right! You will go blind from masturbating too much.

Do the porn attorneys think this guy downloaded their porn flick and then went blind after watching it over and over and over?

Or, at least that sounds like what the attorneys for porn studio Imperial Enterprises, Inc., must think. We mean really, do they think this guy downloaded their porn flick and then went blind after watching it over and over and over?

She's got a great set of dots

In what seems to me to possibly be the stupidest lawsuit we’ve ever seen:

A porn studio is accusing a blind man of illegally downloading the company’s pornographic content.

The blind man, known only as John Doe in the suit, is one of the 3,500 people being sued by California porn studio Imperial Enterprises, Inc.

He claims he was too busy to password-protect his wifi connection and that someone else must have used his network and downloaded the porn in question.

… The firm are now demanding a few thousand dollars from him in a settlement.

Looks to be proof-positive that attorneys are not only sleazebags, they work for sleazebags, too.

What next? Will they check to see if he’s got hairy palms?

Irony meter explodes: Graduates sue law schools

Both sides better have good lawyers. It sounds like they can use the work.

The old joke said lawyers swimming in the ocean needn’t worry about sharks because the predators never attack one of their own. Besides killing retirements and jobs, today’s Hope It Changes economy is retiring lots of old jokes and not just the old jokes in Congress.

Too few ambulances, too many ambulance chasers

Reuters has the story:

… two class-action suits were filed by graduates of New York Law School … and Thomas M. Cooley Law School … amid growing scrutiny over whether law schools across the country are deliberately concealing the truth about their graduates’ employment and salary in order to enroll more students despite their dismal job prospects.

Suggestion: Michelle said she and Barack shunned lucrative corporate jobs in favor of community service. Considering all the free travel, housing, vacations, and all the food she can eat, you’d have to say the community serves them pretty well.

Among the tactics allegedly employed by the schools were misclassifying graduates with temporary or part-time jobs as “fully” employed, omitting information about graduates who didn’t respond to employment surveys, and creating post-graduate job programs to hire their own graduates.

The Stimulus and Obamacare, both designed by lawyers, were also surrounded by phony claims. Must be part of the curriculum.

“The law school industry today is much like a game of three-card monte, with law schools flipping over ace after ace, while a phalanx of non-suspecting players wager mostly borrowed money based on asymmetrical information on a game few of them can win,” according to the New York lawsuit.

Both sides better have good lawyers. It sounds like they can use the work.

Stupidest law ever: California legislature approves ‘Cuss Free Week’

California may be financially bankrupt, but that doesn’t mean it’s morally bankrupt. The state legislature proved that by approving a statewide “Cuss Free Week”.

Fox News has the all the stupid #$%&# details:

The resolution by Assemblyman Anthony Portantino, D-La Canada Flintridge, was inspired by a South Pasadena teenager, McKay Hatch, who founded a No Cussing Club at his junior high school in 2007. His efforts to stamp out profanity have generated international attention, with 35,000 members joining the No Cussing Club’s Web site.

Portantino said the California Legislature — known for imposing strict clean air and clean water laws — is the first state legislative body in the nation to consider a statewide profanity-free week.

Hatch, now 16, said he sees a link between cussing and drug use, bullying and other harmful behavior. A cuss-free world would be a more harmonious one, he said.

This poor kid could only have been raised in the People’s Republic of California.

Peace, love, happiness, fruit and granola for everyone.

And make it #%#$& snappy.

128 gays sentenced to death in Iraq, executions set to begin next week

On July 19, 2005 two teenage boys, Mahmoud Asgari, 14, and Ayaz Marhoni, 16, were hanged in Iran for the crime of homosexual activity. It's okay though, it's their culture, not ours.
On July 19, 2005 two teenage boys, Mahmoud Asgari, 14, and Ayaz Marhoni, 16, were hanged in neighboring Iran for the crime of homosexual activity. It's okay though, it's their culture, not ours.

One would hope this story would sound a very loud alarm in Hollywood: More than 100 prisoners in Iraq face execution after reportedly being convicted of the crime of “being gay.”

According to Ali Hili of Iraqi-LGBT, Iraq will begin executing them in groups of 20 starting this week. The London-based group believes 128 executions are imminent. They’re asking the UK Government, human rights groups and the UN Human Rights Commission to step in and stop “this tragic miscarriage of justice.”

“In 2008, at least 285 people were sentenced to death, and at least 34 executed,” Mr Hili said in an interview with UK Gay News. “In 2007 at least 199 people were sentenced to death and 33 were executed, while in 2006 at least 65 people were put to death.

“The actual figures,” Mr. Hili added, “could be much higher as there are no official statistics for the number of prisoners facing execution.”

Uh-oh. Obama Justice Department nominee Harold Koh wants the United States to accept Sharia Law, which calls for shooting or beheading gays and drug addicts.

Who’s going to be left in Hollywood to make movies?

We can track your cell phone. We just can’t talk about it.

All that cell phone location-tracking technology you see on “24” really exists.

jack bauer

The law says we can’t use it to track terror suspects or kidnappers domestically, but can use it in foreign countries. But we can’t talk about that. At least not on the record. Or attributed. (So this is off the record. And anonymous.)

Here’s how Fox News explains it:

“Technology that tracks millions of 911 calls from cell phones in the United States every month is being deployed in Middle Eastern and Asian-Pacific countries to track terror suspects — but legal obstacles prevent widespread usage in the U.S.”

Let’s skip ahead to the last two paragraphs, which is always the best part:

U.S. military officials in Iraq and Afghanistan did not reply to requests for comment on the use of cell phone tracking there, but a source close to the matter told FOXNews.com that the practice is widely used.

“In Iraq and Afghanistan, I see [cell phone tracking technology] used all the time,” according to the source who requested anonymity due to not being authorized to speak on the matter. “I see it being used as often as a helicopter. But [military officials] don’t talk about electronic warfare, even if it’s widely used.”

Notice how the ones authorized to speak on the matter don’t comment. But you didn’t hear it from us.
