About one dozen families who recently immigrated to Canada are demanding that the Louis Riel School Division in Winnipeg excuse their children from music and coed physical education programs for religious reasons.

We’re pretty sure the Royal Canadian Mounted Thought Police have already been notified, so Professor Mahfooz Kanwar should be prepared for their arrival.

The families believe that music is un-Islamic — just like the Taliban believe and then imposed on the entire population of Afghanistan — and that physical education classes should be segregated by gender even in the elementary years…

In any event, the school district is trying to find a way to adapt the curriculum to fit the wishes of these families, rather than these families adapting to fit into the school and Canadian culture.

Mahfooz Kanwar, a member of the Muslim Canadian Congress, says he has some better ideas.

“I’d tell them, this is Canada, and in Canada, we teach music and physical education in our schools. If you don’t like it, leave. If you want to live under sharia law, go back to the hellhole country you came from or go to another hellhole country that lives under sharia law,” said Kanwar, who is a professor emeritus of sociology at Mount Royal University in Calgary.

The country that alerted us to the spread of H1N1 by homosexuals is now putting the whip down–or the cane down–on beer drinking women.

Malaysia recently sentenced a woman to caning for drinking a cold, frosty one. But, since Islam is the religion of peace, the Sharia courts granted a Ramadan reprieve.

Thankfully, for the millions of caning fans out there, the thrashing will happen after the Islamic holiday. Ramadan is a month-long period of fasting. The Islamic judges may be worried that the caners might be a little weak from the lack of food to deliver a good whuppin’ witha rattan rod.

A 22-year old woman is fighting for her life after being caned 39 times in Bangladesh.

Police chief Moshiur Rahman said the 22-year-old unmarried woman angered Islamic clerics by telling friends that a neighbor was the father of her six-year old son.

When she and the alleged father appeared before a Islamic court, the man denied the charge.

“He held a Koran in one hand and swore to the village clerics that he was not the father of the boy. The village court found him not guilty,” Rahman said. “They also issued a fatwa that the woman should be caned 39 times for lying.”

Half the players in the NBA immediately called their attorneys and told them to try “the Bangladeshi defense.”

Bad news for Elton John. According to a recent survey, British Muslims have zero tolerance for homosexual acts.

What’s that? They didn’t mean show business acts performed by homosexuals? Oh. Our apologies to Elton.

Gallup conducted telephone and face-to-face interviews with 500 Muslims in the UK, France and Germany.

“The most dramatic contrast was found in attitudes towards homosexuality,” the study said. “None of the 500 British Muslims interviewed believed that homosexual acts were morally acceptable.”

Remarkable. They couldn’t find a single British Muslim who would come out publicly in support of homosexuals. Not one.

“By comparison, 35% of French Muslims found homosexual acts to be acceptable,” it continued. “A question on pornography also elicited different reactions, with French and German Muslims more likely than British Muslims to believe that watching or reading pornography was morally acceptable.”

So much for the glories of multiculturalism. Like all liberal philosophies, it grossly over-promises and dramatically under-delivers. Kind of like an Elton John concert.

Is it just us or is there something just a little creepy about Katie Couric’s manner in this report from Saudi Arabia?

On one hand, she tries her best to be oddly bubbly. On the other hand, she acts as if she expects the Saudi religious police to swoop down on her at any moment.

And is it just us or does she seem a little too flippant about buying her daughter a mosque-shaped alarm clock?

Purdue University muslims to woman against Sharia: “You have no right to speak”

Few dare to speak out against Sharia Law, and fewer still get the chance to do so in our one-sided, speech-coded, liberal halls of academia. When they do, they are treated with disrespect by both the school administration and students. And it would not be a stretch to say that they take their lives in their hands, delivering a message that the biased or blind media is unwilling to give.

One such person is Nonie Darwish, a woman who lived under Sharia for 47 years. On April 9, 2009, she gave a speech at Purdue University on the threat of Sharia Law. Some Muslims in attendance helped Darwish make her point, by shouting that she had no right to speak, and questioning how much her jewelry cost. School and security officials, did nothing to quiet the crowd. Although, as you will see in this video, they did plenty to quiet the speaker’s sponsor, the Conservative Coalition for American Values, outside before the event.

If she had attempted to give this speech in an Islamic country, she’d be buried neck deep and stoned to death. If she’d given it in many countries in Europe, she possibly be arrested for hate speech. So far, here in America, she only gets the treatment you see in the video. So far, we say, if our media –a nd organizations pretending to stand up for women, like NOW — does not begin reporting stories like this.

Great news from Saudi Arabia. Really great news. A Saudi court has ruled that a 60-year old Saudi man cannot have sex with his 8-year old wife.

Ahhh, but don’t break out the champagne quite yet. The court didn’t annul the marriage nor condemn the marriage nor even raise an eyebrow over the marriage. It just said the old geezer couldn’t violate the girl until she reached puberty.

Justice Minister Muhammad Issa said he wanted to end to the “arbitrary” way in which Saudi parents marry off underage girls. But he said nothing about outlawing the practice. Not a word.

This brings up a few questions for Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg:

Is this one of those international laws you want to use as precedent in American law? If you’re not following the United States Constitution, how do you determine which international laws to follow and which ones to ignore? Will your choices as “arbitrary” as those of the Saudi judge? And finally, are you really as friggin’ uninformed and un-American as you appear to be?

If you’re an aid worker, consider yourself lucky that you got out of 2008 alive. Reuters reports that last year was the deadliest ever for aid workers. But the wire service left something very important out of its report – who did the killing?

Here’s how CreepingSharia.com revealed what Reuters didn’t or wouldn’t or dasn’t:

al-Reuters reports that 2008 was the deadliest year on record for aid workers and that three countries were responsible for most of the violence. What Reuters fails to mention is what those three countries – Somalia, Afghanistan, and Sudan – have in common that contributed to the killings: Islam.

In fact, the words Islam, Muslim, jihad, and sharia – all significant factors in the record number of aid worker deaths – are never mentioned by al-Reuters, who claims the deaths are an alarming trend.

Unfortunate? Absolutely. Disgusting? Without doubt. Alarming? Not really. Anyone paying any attention at all could tell you jihadists are killing on a regular basis. The alarming trend is not the killings but the refusal of Western governments and the mass media to acknowledge and report on the jihadists and ideology behind the killing. Not to mention policies forbidding use of those terms.

What’s that? There were no bands of crazed 13th century Christians raping and pillaging anywhere in the world? No conservatives slaughtering in the name of God? And no beheadings by disgruntled Republicans?

This is going to come as a big surprise to the Department of Homeland Security.

Another story the media just conveniently overlooks in its efforts to be politically correct:

Those darn moderate Taliban factions with whom President Obama wants to negotiate are already causing problems in Pakistan.

Here’s how the ANI news agency reports the story:

Pakistani’s Taliban will not lay down heir arms in a northwestern valley as part of a deal that included the introduction of Sharia law but will take their struggle’ to new areas, a militant spokesman said today.

“Sharia doesn’t permit us to lay down arms,” Muslim Khan said by telephone. “If a government, either in Pakistan or Afghanistan, continues anti-Muslim policies, it’s out of the question that Taliban lay down their arms.”

Pakistan’s President Asif Ali Zardari, under pressure from conservatives, signed a regulation on Monday imposing sharia law in the Swat valley to end Taliban violence.

The strategy of appeasement has alarmed US officials, while critics say the government has demonstrated a lack of capacity nd will to fight the Taliban and al Qaeda.

According to Dawn, details of the deal have not been made public but government officials backing the pact have said part of it as that militants would give up their arms.

But a Pakistani Taliban spokesman in the scenic valley, a one-time tourist destination 125 km northwest of Islamabad, said they would be keeping their guns.

He said “When we achieve our goal at one place, there are other areas where we need to struggle for it.”

Based on this, we can foresee the day when American Muslims can have guns for religious reasons, but other Americans can’t have them for legal reasons.

That, of course, will allow the IslamoFascists to help Homeland Security hunt down rightwing extremists.

Arab women’s right activist tells exactly why women, girls, children should fear Sharia law.

Hey, you multiculturalists out there. You might want to reconsider the consequences of Sharia law after you watch this video.

Ghada Jamshir is a Bahraini women’s rights activist. She’s also a very brave woman. She was interviewed on al-Arabiya television.

She tells – in very graphic detail – what’s wrong with Sharia law and why every woman in the world should fear it. At one point she goes into such graphic detail about what types of sexual relationships are acceptable under Sharia that the host becomes visibly uncomfortable and says, “Let’s not go into detail.”

But he wasn’t man enough to stop Ghada Jamshir.

Saudi grand mufti says, “No movies for you. No nothing for you.”

Just weeks after that grand Hollywood delegation visited Iran on a “cultural” exchange, they’ve received bad news from neighboring Saudi Arabia. Movies are now taboo.

As AsiaNews/Agency in Riyadh explained it:

Cinema and theatre are “against Sharia” because they distract people from work and weaken their efforts in achieving progress, said Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti Shaikh Abdul Aziz Alu Al Sheikh during a conference on leisure, visual arts and literature attended by students at King Saud University. “Theatrical performance, whether it is a cinema or a song, would generally make an impression that is against Sharia. People need only those (art forms) that are useful to them to change their way of life (in an Islamic manner),” he decreed.

They continued. And so did the nutcase Mufti:

In his address to students at King Saud University, the grand mufti warned against playing chess because it “causes a man to lose his wealth and waste his time.”

Conversely “photography is one of the necessities of life” because it helps in “lectures, [. . .] religious activities [. . .] while maintaining public security.”

“Only the photography of sculptures and models is prohibited,” he said.

Remuneration for poets who attend festivals and cultural events is permissible if their words are good, faultless, without “abusive words or references.”

Finally, the mufti urged students to stay away from cigarettes and avoid reckless driving, especially at night or early morning.

Hold on. He didn’t mention cable TV, did he? Can they watch cable TV Saudi Arabia? If so, we highly recommend Entourage to the Grand Mufti. We’re pretty he’ll like it.

But he might want to watch it with the blinds pulled down.

128 gays sentenced to death in Iraq, executions set to begin next week

One would hope this story would sound a very loud alarm in Hollywood: More than 100 prisoners in Iraq face execution after reportedly being convicted of the crime of “being gay.”

According to Ali Hili of Iraqi-LGBT, Iraq will begin executing them in groups of 20 starting this week. The London-based group believes 128 executions are imminent. They’re asking the UK Government, human rights groups and the UN Human Rights Commission to step in and stop “this tragic miscarriage of justice.”

“In 2008, at least 285 people were sentenced to death, and at least 34 executed,” Mr Hili said in an interview with UK Gay News. “In 2007 at least 199 people were sentenced to death and 33 were executed, while in 2006 at least 65 people were put to death.

“The actual figures,” Mr. Hili added, “could be much higher as there are no official statistics for the number of prisoners facing execution.”

Uh-oh. Obama Justice Department nominee Harold Koh wants the United States to accept Sharia Law, which calls for shooting or beheading gays and drug addicts.

President Obama just nominated a character named Harold Koh to be the State Department’s top legal advisors. He sounds more dangerous than unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers.

According to the New York Post, Koh believes:

Judges should interpret the Constitution according to other nations’ legal “norms.” Sharia law could apply to disputes in US courts. The United States constitutes an “axis of disobedience” along with North Korea and Saddam-era Iraq.

Until he was nominated for the State Department position, Koh was dean of the Yale Law School. He believes in a “transnational legal process.” That is, he believes the distinctions between United States law and international law should be eliminated.

What would this look like in a practical sense? Well, California voters have overruled their courts, which had imposed same-sex marriage on the state. Koh would like to see such matters go up the chain through federal courts — which, in turn, should look to the rest of the world. If Canada, the European Human Rights Commission and the United Nations all say gay marriage should be legal — well, then, it should be legal in California too, regardless of what the state’s voters and elected representatives might say.

Hate preacher Anjem Choudary launched a vitrolic attack on gays last week in which he said that they should be stoned to death.

The former lawyer, who lives on benefits, added that this would include gay business secretary Lord Peter Mandelson, who, under Sharia law, would first be educated about the “evils” of homosexuality then executed if he confessed to a same-sex relationship.

He was speaking at a press conference in London organised by Islamic extremists to justify a protest in Luton last week against soldiers returning home from Iraq.

Choudary said: “If a man likes another man, it can happen, but if you go on to fulfil your desire, if it is proved, then there is a punishment to follow. You don’t stone to death unless there are four eyewitnesses. It is a very stringent procedure.

“There are some people who are attracted to donkeys but that does not mean it is right.”

Sadly, it’s the people who are attracted to donkeys who are blind to this problem. And they day will come when they really need help from the people who are attracted to elephants.

For some mysterious reason, this story’s barely made a blip in the news. Guess the American media’s just been too darn busy gushing over Michelle Obama’s arms.

A 75-year-old Saudi Arabian widow has been sentenced to 40 lashes and four months in jail for “mingling” with two young men who were not close relatives. One was her late husband’s nephew and the other was his business partner. Ah, the beauty of Islamic Sharia law.

One can’t help but notice the media’s striking lack of concern for women outside the United States. It’s rare to hear more than a whisper of protest from any print or broadcast media.

And the big name women’s organizations? Silent as Marcelle Marceau despite the fact that they’re always the first to say, “It’s one world. We’re one family of people. We’re all brothers and sisters.” Yet when confronted with horrible abuse in Muslim nations, the typical response is, “We must understand. We must not be so quick to criticize, because its their culture.”

Muslim leader tells true intentions: America will become a Muslim country

Muslims in America simply want to become good Americans. They just want picnics, beer bellies, and mortgages they can’t afford, like the rest of us. At least that’s what the media tells us.

Luckily, not-so-peaceful jihadists can’t keep their mouths shut. Stick a camera in front of one of these guys and he feels compelled to blab the truth. Apparently, a camera to jihadist is like sodium pentothal to a liar.

The attached video is from a Chicago-based TV show called Underground Railroad. They guest, Dr. Amir Ali, seems rather happy (eager, in fact) to announce that Islam and sharia law are coming to the good ol’ USA and that we’re destined to become an Islamic country.

Here’s another quote from Dr. Ali from the MarkedManner.com blog: “When Hitler reluctantly started to implement his ‘final solution’ in dealing with German Jews…whatever else he was, he was no dummy! What did he know about which we are as yet blissfully unaware?”

About ten days ago, an ad for “Muslim matrimonials” appeared right next to our story about the Muslim TV executive who beheaded his wife. You can see the hilarious juxtaposition on the screen capture above. Click the image or here for a full size, full screen image.

At first we thought our internet advertising provider had merely misinterpreted the context of the key words in the story — Muslim, husband, wife – and placed the ad there by mistake. But we’ve changed our minds. Because these are the smartest companies in the world, damn it, and they don’t make mistakes.

We’ve been deeply touched by this heartfelt effort to help Muzzammil Hassan find love again.

We hope he can find a life with a new woman. Or 25 to life. Whichever comes first.

Reliving the Dream of Muzzammil Hassan

The story of Muzzammil Hassan beheading his wife Aasiya has been purposefully suppressed or under-reported by the mainstream media since the the horrific murder was committed last Thursday in Buffalo, New York.

We know why, of course. It’s because Hassan is a Muslim-American whose mission was to improve the image of Muslims in the United States, and even with the obvious irony of the situation, the press just won’t let a good story get in the way of their agenda. So let’s play along, and instead of telling you more of how Aasiya’s head was knifed off in a manner not exactly in the custom of Americans (yeah, shoot us for saying it), let’s instead just shut the hell up about this unfortunate moment of second-degree rage, and relive the dream of Hassan’s network by relaxing, sitting back and watching this 2004 interview by NBC’s Brian Williams.

Three days ago in Buffalo, NY, Muzzammil Hassan sawed the head off his wife Aasiya Hassan — we’re going to say it — Islamofascist-style in a gift to the press that’s normally insatiable for this type of story. Ironically, Mr. Hassan is the founder of Bridges TV network, formed to improve the image of Muslim-Americans in the U.S. So where’s the story?

Conservative commentators knew there would be just token press, and they were proven right. If it were a Christian (or any non-media-protected group), it would have been all over television and print media. Muslim leader in Buffalo loses his mind, wife loses her head

buffalo_beheading_coupleIn one of the strangest ironies yet, the founder of the BridgesTV network that was formed to improve the image of Muslim-Americans in the United States was just arrested for beheading his wife.

Muzzammil Hassan, a prominent Buffalo, New York area businessman, is charged with second-degree murder for beheading wife Aasiya Z. Hassan at his company’s office on Thursday.

Will this tragic story get much airplay on the mainstream media? Probably not. The media in this country doesn’t like to report any news that puts a Muslim in bad light.

We just have one question: he beheaded his wife and was only charged with second degree murder? What the hell do you have to do to get charged with first degree murder in Buffalo?
