Meanwhile, the favorite on the Democrat side is Elizabeth Colbert-Busch, sister of comedian Stephen Colbert (who ran for president in 2008 and 2012 as a joke).

Now that the Justice Dept. released its memo justifying assasination of American citizens… let’s take another look at the assasination by drone of 16-year-old Aabdulrahman al-Awlaki, an American citizen who was neither a member of al-Qaida nor a member of an associated force. He was a kid. He was targeted and killed by a drone in October of 2011 along with some other kids who happened to be eating with him. His father was a member of al-Qaida but his father was already dead from an earlier drone assasination about which President Obama bragged. Is this murder then?

If imaginary guns and grenades get grade schoolers kicked out of school… then why is Joe Biden allowed to shoot François Hollande, the president of France, with a finger gun? How is that fair?

Obama misses budget deadline. Again. He missed the February 4 deadline required by the Budget and Accounting Act of 1921 and the White House refuses to say when the budget might be done. He’s the only president to miss the deadline two years in a row, the only president to miss it three out of four, and holds the record for longest delay… his first budget was 98 days late. He also holds the record for most games of golf but that’s merely a coincidence.

HookerGate gets better. Now there’s pictures. Her name is Svitlana Buchyk. She travels with Senator Menendez’s friend, Dr. Salomon Melgen, and is “one of the most regular participants in the activities the Doctor arranges for the Senator.”

War in Saudi Arabia. Large groups of baboons have invaded a village called Al Qunfudah, occupying homes and endangering lives. “The baboons… are well aware of what they are doing,” said one resident. “The assault on the village is not random, as some believe. They proceed according to studied plans. That’s why their attacks do not fail.” But hey, at least people are keeping baby girls veiled as they retreat from the baboons – that’s progress, right?

They’re still messing with George Zimmerman. Prosecutors finally let his defense attorney see Trayvon Martin’s cellphone info but GPS tracking mysteriously stops on February 26, 2012, the day of the shooting. And a 26-minute ABC recording of Trayvon’s girlfriend was only 14 minutes long by the time the defense attorney got it, with “at least seven starts, stops and edits.”

NBC edits another tape. They apparently didn’t learn their lesson aftrer getting caught editing George Zimmerman’s 911 call. That one led to people getting fired. This time MSNBC edited a tape of Newton father Neil Heslin to make it look like gun rights advocates interrupted his testimony with heckling. They didn’t, but Martin Bashir played the edited tape and then started the discussion by saying, “A father’s grief, interrupted by the cries of a heckler.” Who gets fired this time? How about Mr. Bashir?

Catholic diocese disinvites speaker on Islam after Muslims bellyache. That’s not the worst part. Turns out the brouhaha was instigated by a Boston Globe reporter who convinced area Muslims they should contact the diocese to complain about Robert Spencer’s appearance. Whereupon the Catholics folded like a cheap tent.
