Al Gore flunks physics at UC Berkeley

al goreAccording to the latest issue of Forbes, Professor Richard Muller tools around uber liberal Berkeley in a Toyota Pirus.

Nothing out of place here, right? Wrong.

“It doesn’t save me money,” he explains. “It doesn’t help slow global warming. I just love the technology.” Muller, named a MacArthur genius in 1982, goes even further. He scoffs at the greens’ favorite energy theories and says people like Al Gore and Thomas Friedman are exaggerators of global warming, pure and simple.

Here at IHateTheMedia.com we wonder just what former future President Gore must think when he hears such blasphemy coming from an august professor.

The answer, obviously, is that Gore doesn’t think much (that sentence has two meanings and both of them are true).

Gore lives in a world of massive denial. To him, Professor Muller is just a dumb blond, Bill Clinton really didn’t have sex with that woman, and when Credence Clearwater sings ”Fortunate Son” the lyrics really say “I am a senator’s son.”

Jodie Foster busted for hybrid hypocrisy

prius_race_car

Jodie Foster was pulled over in Beverly Hills last week for speeding. Police said the movie star’s politically-correct Prius was clocked doing 54 in a 35 mile per hour zone.

To make it even better, the whole thing was caught on tape by a crew of “Speeders,” a truTV reality show.

According to the New York Post, “Foster refused to sign a waiver to appear on the show, so the camera crew ceased filming and returned to the police car. But she grew quite agitated and angry, and kept insisting to the police officers that the radar gun must have made a mistake. She maintained to the officers that she was only going 30 mph at the time they pulled her over, and she kept interrupting and complaining that the process was taking too long…Despite her numerous requests otherwise, the cops still issued her a citation.”

In a similar story, Al Gore’s son was arrested in July, 2007 for doing 100 mph in his Prius on the San Diego Freeway.

We have the same reaction to both stories: Who’d have believed a Prius could actually exceed the speed limit?

Did you know Al Gore invented hiphop?

We don’t know if this music video qualifies as rap or hiphop. But we’re pretty sure neither genre will be too quick to claim it.

Things haven’t been going well for our friends in the global warming crowd lately, what with the freakishly cold weather in the northern hemisphere this winter.

So they’re doing a little outreach to rap and/or hiphop fans. Because as the number of true believers dwindles, they need to reach out to people they’ve never targeted before. It’s their attempt to be “relevant.”

Listen and laugh. It actually makes Brittney Spears’ a capella work sound good.

NASA exec tries to bore people into believing global warming

The same global warming proponents who used to bully people into submission are now attempting to bore them into submission.

James Hansen, the controversial NASA’s scientist and Al Gore toady, stars in a mind-numbingly dull new commercial promoting a March 2 protest at the Capitol Power Plant in Washington, DC. Continue reading “NASA exec tries to bore people into believing global warming”

Bill Clinton wants attention, resorts to glorification of Gorification.

With Barack Obama hogging the limelight, Bill Clinton’s been feeling kind of neglected lately. So he decided to say something guaranteed to get himself back in the headlines.

The former president appeared on NBC’s Today Show on Monday morning, where the sycophantic Ann Curry asked if the economic crisis is the greatest threat facing the United States.

“In the short run,” Clinton rasped. “In the medium-term, because I think we’ll come out of the economic crisis, terror and the spread of weapons of mass destruction are. In the long term, the prospect that the climate will crater and we won’t be able to preserve civilization is.”

This is actually good news. It’s like a reprieve. We were afraid civilization had ended back when Al Franken announced his candidacy.

Barbara Boxer more interested in the floor of her house than the floor of the Senate

barbara_boxerWe generally hate the media. But we love it when they actually do their job. For example, Roll Call’s Heard on the Hill column nailed Barbara Boxer for one of her recent actions.

Picture this. Al Gore is on the floor of the senate, rattling on endlessly about global warming and how the timebomb is ticking. Boxer stands up and walks out.

Did she leave to protest Gore’s vision of doom and gloom? To attend a vital committee meeting? To confer with the President about saving the nation’s economy? Continue reading “Barbara Boxer more interested in the floor of her house than the floor of the Senate”

Dennis Miller says Al Gore is a doofus

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAc4H7JTzW8While Senators of both parties bowed and curtsied to Al Gore, Dennis Miller used his sharply-honed analytical skills to determine that the man is a doofus, not a genius.

“He’s a bit of a doofus,” Miller observed. “He’s got too much of his personal salvation tied up in this for me to just take him at face value and think, well, it must be so. Al Gore said it.”

“Since the people of Tennessee essentially kept him from getting the White House, the people who knew him the best,” Miller continued, “I think that crushed his soul. I think he’s looking for something to brace himself up…I think at the core of it he’s a guy who’s guessing and must have some trepidation deep within that he’s clumsily overplayed this hand.”

There’s only one person in the world funnier than Dennis Miller. That person is, of course, Al Gore. He just doesn’t know he’s being funny.

Washington Post mocks deification of Gore

magic_8_ballTemperatures may have been freezing in Washington, DC yesterday, but the reception Al Gore got from the Washington Post was even chiller.

They dubbed him The Goracle, poked fun at his pompous predictions, laughed at his tortured phraseology, and cackled about kowtowing interrogators. They said:

“Mostly, however, the lawmakers took turns asking the Goracle for advice, as if playing with a Magic 8 Ball.”

“Prospects for regulating a future carbon emissions market? ‘There’s a high degree of confidence.’ The future of automobiles in China and India? ‘I wouldn’t give up on electric vehicles.’ The potential of solar power in those countries? “’I have no question about it at all.’”

We got out our Magic 8-Ball and asked it a few questions. This thing’s good.

Is Al Gore a pompous ass? “Signs point to yes.” Is global warming some kind of scam? “It is decidedly so.” Is this article about finished? “Without a doubt.”

Cold water thrown on global warming alarmist

James Hansen, one of Al Gore’s closest allies, has given thousands of speeches and written enough papers to kill a medium-sized forest. Yet he repeatedly says he was muzzled by the Bush administration.

Oops. Hansen’s former boss, retired senior NASA atmospheric scientist, Dr. John Theon, says Hansen’s claims are nonsense.

“Hansen was never muzzled even though he violated NASA’s official agency position on climate forecasting (i.e., we did not know enough to forecast climate change or mankind’s effect on it). Hansen thus embarrassed NASA by coming out with his claims of global warming in 1988 in his testimony before Congress,” Theon said.

Damn those inconvenient truths! Damn them to hell!

Al Gore is about to begin his latest Chicken Little testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

But while Gore is blathering on about the ‘urgent need’ to combat global warming, a “Winter Storm Watch” has been issued for the region and significant snow, sleet, and ice has been predicted.

Global warming believers say this year’s brutal winter weather is proof of climate change. Highly-trained meteorologists at I Hate The Media say this year’s brutal winter weather is proof of brutal winter weather.
