Iowa crowd mistakes DNC chairwoman for Tea Partier and boos her

The gathering was dominated by conservatives determined to express their view of the hopelessness of change.

Our headline probably expresses how the White House and main stream media (pardon our redundancy) will portray Sunday’s appearance by DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz at the Iowa State Fair.

Instead of the Obama campaign’s efforts to generate pro-administration astroturf, the gathering was dominated by conservatives determined to express their view of the hopelessness of change.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz, just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside

The Des Moines Register tells the tale:

[DNC] Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, spent 10 minutes this afternoon yelling over coordinated cheers and bipartisan jeers as she defended President Barack Obama’s record and called on voters to support him again in 2012.

Question: How does one spend 10 minutes defending Obama’s record? Answer: We’re not sure, but we imagine that it involves saying “Killed Bin Laden” about 200 times.

The large crowd was dominated by what appeared to be a coordinated group of Obama supporters carrying signs, wearing stickers and cheering loudly at each applause line. But amidst them were critics to both the right and left of Wasserman Schultz and the president.

Because the Obama supporters had walkie-talkies and printed scripts, this guy jumped to the conclusion their spontaneous outbursts were coordinated.

Between her defense of Democrats’ record and critiques of the Republican candidates’ policies … Wasserman Schultz called for Americans “come together” and move beyond divisive partisanship.

Obama flacks wanting to “move beyond divisive partisanship” is like bags of hammers wanting to move beyond stupid.

“We need a little unity in America right now, and that’s what Democrats have been committed to under President Obama’s leadership.”

The Democrats’ idea of unity is to call everyone who disagrees with them terrorists. Debbie says her party is “committed” and we think people with that attitude should be.

Hilarious: New York Times Style section dubs Debbie Wasserman Schultz “a cultural and hair hero”

Do not entrust your future fashion decisions to writer Judith Newman. We don’t mean to be harsh, but it seems obvious that the woman has no taste.

Hair heroine? C'mon, it looks like she ate at KFC and wiped her hands in her golden locks.

Here’s an excerpt from Newman’s bizarre comments on Wasserman Schultz:

I thought I was tilting at windmills until I discovered my new cultural and hair hero, the Florida congresswoman and chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, Debbie Wasserman Schultz…

Politics aside, I love the congresswoman’s guts in not bowing to the vast Blowout Conspiracy. Sometimes she’s got those blonde waves, sometimes she’s got pin-curls, but I’ve never seen her on a Sunday morning chat show with helmet hair. She is a serious, passionate voice for progressive politics in this country, and she’s not afraid to have hair that’s passionate, too.

Stay tuned for future delusional articles by Judith Newman:

Debbie Wasserman Schultz: “We’ve really begun to turn the economy around”

Here is, perhaps, the dumbest comment ever made by Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), which is quite a difficult competition to judge.

Have you ever seen a photo of DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz that doesn’t look like a mugshot from SmokingGun.com?

No, seriously. Think about it. Maybe do a Google image search and then come back and tell us we’re wrong. We swear every photo of the woman looks like she was just arrested for some heinous crime.

With that in mind, feel free to consider what the Democrats have done to the economy as a crime and consider Wasserman Schultz to be an accomplice.

Here is, perhaps, her dumbest comment ever, which is quite a difficult competition to judge.

“Well, we’re going to focus on what we know is the number one priorities on Americans ease minds right now, that is creating jobs and continuing to get this economy turned around. If we have to drag the Republicans with us, then we’ll do that, but, you know, it’s been a whole lot of months, eight months they have controlled the house with no jobs bills coming to the Floor. Hopefully now with this compromise on the debt ceiling behind us, with the opportunity, with the economic to sit down and focus on longer-term deficit reduction that will have some balance and ask some sacrifice for our most fortunate,” Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) told MSNBC. Schultz is also the Chairwoman of the DNC.

“We’re creating jobs each month in the private sector.”

Are the American people dumb enough to buy this line of crap?

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz: The economy is firing on all cylinders, even if I’m not

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz informs America’s unwashed and unlearned that they are also uninformed if they think we’re anywhere near a double dip recession.

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, esteemed Florida congressperson and Chair of the DNC, put in a true tour de force Sunday on NBC’s Meet the Press. Getting two stupid clips from one program is rare, indeed, but DW-S is no typical politician.

In the first clip, she informs America’s unwashed and unlearned that they are also uninformed if they think we’re anywhere near a double dip recession. Hell, no. Barack Obama has turned this economy around, damn it.

In the second clip Meet the Press Host David Gregory asks Wasserman-Schultz why she initially sprang to Anthony Weiner’s defense by saying his dork-a-thon was strictly a “personal matter” even after Weiner’s ludicrous “stolen identity” claims.

Damn, it’s fun watching her squirm. Her tenure at the DNC is going to provide us with damn near infinite fodder.

DNC chair confuses illegal illegal aliens with legal illegal aliens. Or something like that.

In this video clip, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz displays the remarkable intelligence that earned her the job of DNC Chair. Or maybe the intelligence of a chair. We’re not sure which.

In this video clip, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz displays the remarkable intelligence that earned her the job of DNC Chair. Or maybe the intelligence of a chair. We’re not sure which.

Here’s what she said late last week about illegal aliens:

“I think the president was clearly articulating that his position, the Democrats’ position, is that we need comprehensive immigration reform. We have 12 million undocumented immigrants in this country that are part of the backbone of our economy. And that is not only a reality but a necessity. And that it would be harmful if — the Republican solution that I’ve seen in the last three years is that we should just pack them all up and ship them back to their own countries, and that, in fact, it should be a crime and we should arrest them all. I mean that was the legislation that Jim Sensenbrenner advanced a couple of years ago.”

Shocking. Those damn Republicans want to treat criminals as if they’ve committed crimes.

Hypocrisy: Head of DNC, who knocks Republicans for not supporting US carmakers, drives a Japanese car

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz rails on Republicans for opposing the administration’s giveaways to the autoworkers union. But she drive a Japanese car.

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Barack Obama’s brand new, hand-chosen Chairwoman of the Democrat National Committee, spoke at a forum sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor. She was fired up. She was angry. She took the Republicans to task for opposing the administration’s giveaways to the autoworkers union.

“If it were up to the candidates running for president on the Republican side,” Wasserman-Schultz said, “we would be driving foreign cars.”

Why, those damn Republicans! Those evil conservatives! Those awful import-buying, Tea Partying …

Unfortunately, reporter Michael O’Brien of The Hill followed Wasserman-Schultz into the parking lot to see what kind of car she was driving.

Oops.

The Congresswoman climbed into 2010 Infiniti FX35. And last time we checked, the Infiniti was a Japanese car.

This woman could make the Democrats think of the good ol’ days when Howard Dean was the party’s chairman.

Democrats offended that Republicans use the O-word on the House floor

If you’re like us, and for your sake we pray to god that you’re not, you’re probably wondering what offensive word begins with the letter “o.”

If you’re like us, and for your sake we pray to god that you’re not, you’re probably wondering what offensive word begins with the letter “o.”

TheHill.com has the story of Republicans’ o-verly o-ffended o-pponents:

House Republicans and Democrats started Friday morning’s debate over whether to defund last year’s healthcare law, and as part of this debate sparred over whether members should be allowed to call that law “ObamaCare.”

After two House Republicans called it “ObamaCare,” Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) asked the chairman whether these “disparaging” remarks should be allowed on the House floor.

“That is a disparaging reference to the president of the United States; it is meant as a disparaging reference to the president of the United States, and it is clearly in violation of the House rules against that,” she said.

Of course, Wasserman Schultz’ idiotic plea only egged on Republicans, who ratcheted up their efforts:

… Rep. Denny Rehberg (Mont.), who sponsored the amendment to defund the law, said he refers to it as ObamaCare and said, “You would think he wants his name attached to his signature legislation.

“So we call it what it is,” he continued. “It is ObamaCare. It’s a travesty. It is big government. It is not controlling healthcare costs, and it needs to be repealed and today we’re going to try to defund it to the best of our ability. And if we’re not successful this time, we’re going to try again and again and again until we either have a Senate that’s willing to pass it or a president that understands that we cannot do this to the American people.”

If they’re going to begin banning words from the floor of the House we can think of three more they should consider:

Debbie. Wasserman. Schultz.

Bang! Pow! Splat! Two of Congress’ most unlikable libs get whacked around on Face the Nation

In the red corner, fighting out of Pennsylvania it’s new Rep. Mike Kelly. And fighting out of Minnesota, it’s Rep. Michele Bachman. In the blue corner, fighting out of New York, it’s liberal Rep. Anthony Weiner and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.

OK, so it wasn’t actually a fight. But it wasn’t actually a panel discussion, either. Bachmann mopped up the canvas with two of the most obnoxious Democrats in New York, Florida or anywhere else.

By the way, can anyone explain why Smith refers to “Congresswoman” Wasserman-Schultz and “Congressman” Weiner as Congressman and Congresswoman, but uses first names to refer to Kelly and Bachmann.

What’s with that, Harry?

Congratulations to Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Porker of the Month. And a bit of a pig, to boot.

We are consistently amazed at the Socialists Democrats’ ability to keep straight faces as they flat out lie. And Wasserman-Schultz is one of the finest-worst.

Democrat Congresswoman refines the art of ObamaCare doubletalk

Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, the extreme leftist representative from Florida, is either delusional or a liar. Or maybe both. In this clip, she tells a group of her constituents that levying fines on people who don’t buy insurance is different than requiring them to buy insurance. Completely different. No comparison at all.

Wasserman-Schultz admits that if you don’t buy insurance, the government will hit you with a hefty fine, but no, she insists, that’s not the same as requiring you to buy insurance.

She said it with an absolutely straight face, which leads to the frightening thought that she may actually believe what she’s saying.
