Get the smelling salts! Even Jack Cafferty supports the new Arizona illegal alien bill

We got a little weak in the knees when we heard CNN’s Jack Cafferty not only supports the Arizona SB1070 illegal alien law, but condemns the federal government for not enforcing current immigration laws.

We got a little weak in the knees when we heard CNN’s Jack Cafferty not only supports the Arizona SB1070 illegal alien law, but condemns the federal government for not enforcing current immigration laws.

Cafferty: So Arizona passes a tough law against illegal immigration and suddenly they’ve got Washington’s attention. One poll finds 70 percent of Arizona voters support this new law, so hey, maybe we better do something, too. And like the lemmings they are when they smell a chance to score some political points, and some of them need a lot of help with the midterms coming up, there is now talk of rushing immigration reform through Congress. President Obama called the Arizona law misguided. What’s misguided, Mr. President, is the federal government’s ongoing refusal to enforce the laws that are already on the books. Read the Arizona law. Parts of it are word-for-word the same as the federal statutes which continue to be all but ignored. Now we’re hear all sorts of blathering from our Washington gerbils about the need for a new federal law. There’ll be news conferences and interviews and committee hearings and draft legislation and polling, all the usual carnival acts that accompany any hot button Washington issue. Instead of simply closing the borders and enforcing the existing law so they could turn their attention to something like the national debt and the fact that the country is bankrupt, instead we’re going to get this freak show. Washington’s position on illegal immigration is patently dishonest from the top down. No enforcement, no border security. Just pandering to the Hispanic voters and the corporations that hire the illegals. And then, when one of our states that’s being ravaged by the presence of 460,000 illegal aliens inside its borders does something about it, the President says that’s misguided. What a shame. Here’s the question: Will the federal government ever enforce our immigration laws?

Thanks, Jack. That pretty much wraps it up in a neat little package with a pretty little bow on top.

Jack Cafferty hates reconciliation, calls Pelosi “beyond sleazy”

Let’s just give you the highlights of Jack Cafferty’s attack on Nancy Pelosi and the whole damn reconciliation process

Let’s just give you the highlights of Jack Cafferty’s attack on Nancy Pelosi and the whole damn reconciliation process:

Just when you think you’ve seen it all in Washington, along comes something like this… Politically speaking, this is beyond sleazy… In Nancy Pelosi’s world, accountability is a dirty word… Republicans are jumping all over this, rightfully so. They’re painting it as a way for Democrats to avoid taking responsibility, which is exactly what it is… We’re learning a lot more about lack of political guts… This reeks!

Uh-oh. No matter whether the bill goes up or down, Obama and the Democrats are going down.

Welcome to the dark side, Mr. Cafferty.

Jack Cafferty looks into Obama’s future. It ain’t pretty.

Jack Cafferty has a couple major screws loose. But this is interesting because the CNN-er has turned increasingly hostile to President Obama in the last few months.

Don’t get us wrong. We think Jack Cafferty has a couple major screws loose. But this is interesting because the CNN-er has turned increasingly hostile to President Obama in the last few months.

NewsBusters.org reports Cafferty’s look into the crystal ball:

Cafferty: President Obama is taking a lot for granted. Politico is reporting that top White House advisers are quietly working on plans for the 2012 reelection campaign. For now, the planning is made up of private closed door meetings among aides at all levels.

I guess when you have the economy and health care reform and the deficits under control, then you can spend your time worrying about the next election — even if it’s almost three years away.

The article’s sources say the president has given every sign he plans to run again, wants the next campaign to look a lot like the last one.

Well, my guess is it won’t turn out quite the same way.

It’s believed the re-election campaign would be managed by the White House deputy chief of staff, Jim Messina, and possibly be run out of Chicago, which is a good way to remove it from beltway politics and locate it, instead, in that bastion of good government.

The planning still in its early stages, but some say it would likely launch in about a year. Nonetheless, there’s still a long way to go. President Obama’s approval rating hovering at around 50 percent. And a majority of Americans say he doesn’t deserve to be re- elected. The American people were promised change and a lot of them think this administration is just more of the same.

And if the jobs don’t start coming back soon, well, he may want to see if that community organizer job is still open.

From ashes to ashes, from dust to dust, from community organizer to community organizer.

The circle of life. And death panels.

CNN’s Jack Cafferty calls Pelosi “a horrible woman.” Why must he continue to understate the facts?

Democrats’ support among leftist allies is fading faster than the tan President Obama picked up on his Hawaiian vacation. CNN’s Jack Cafferty calls Pelosi “a horrible woman.” Why must he continue to understate the facts?

CORRECTION: Harry Reid just called in to remind us that President Obama is a negro and that’s not a tan. Our mistake. Thanks, Harry.

Liberal cannibalism: Alec Baldwin takes a bite out of Jack Cafferty

Jack Cafferty said Alec Baldwin wasn’t qualified to run for office because he hadn’t gone to Harvard like Al Franken. Baldwin responded and it was great.

Tread lightly when Alec Baldwin when he gets that crazed look in his eyes
Tread lightly when Alec Baldwin when he gets that crazed look in his eyes

CNN’s Jack Cafferty has done the impossible. He made us agree with something Alec Baldwin said.

Cafferty said Baldwin wasn’t qualified to run for office because he hadn’t gone to Harvard like Al Franken. Baldwin responded at HuffingtonPost.com:

I would like to make a deal with Cafferty. Jack, you don’t tell people that a career in the performing arts disqualifies them from seeking elected office, and I won’t say publicly that your being convicted of leaving the scene of an accident in which you struck a cyclist and then ran two red lights while you were pursued by the police and were subsequently ordered to serve 70 hours of community service back in May of 2003 disqualifies you from posing as a “Man of the People” on a major cable news network.

Fair enough?

Can’t help but agree with Baldwin on this one. But in our defense, we don’t feel good about it.

Cafferty: Obama sticking pins in Nancy Pelosi doll

jack-caffertyCNN’s Jack Cafferty blames Nancy Pelosi for the Democrats problems. What problems? Didn’t we officially change the name of this country to Paradise on Inauguration Day?

“Democrats are squandering their advantage and threatening to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory,” Cafferty wrote. “Under [Pelosi’s] leadership, House Democrats excluded Republicans from having any voice in crafting the stimulus package.”

“…Democrats busily loaded up the bill with stuff they had been unable to get for eight years…All while Americans lose their homes, their jobs, and their savings. It was both childish and disgraceful.”

“My guess is President Obama is busy these days sticking pins in his Nancy Pelosi doll.”

Our guess is President Obama also has a Chatty Joey doll. You pull the string and it says something stupid.

CNN’s Cafferty compares Pelosi to Chinese dictator

mao_posterizedCNN’s Jack Cafferty, referencing Nancy Pelosi’s plan to spend hundred of millions of dollars on contraceptives as a as an economic stimulus has compared her to infamous Chinese Communist dictator Mao Zedong.

“What exactly did she mean,” Cafferty asked. “Are millions of dollars for contraception supposed to stop people from having babies? [That’s] starting to sound a little like Chairman Mao.”

For the sake of historical accuracy, we feel compelled to point out the vast differences between Mao and Pelosi.

Number One – Mao killed more than 20,000,000 of his countrymen. Pelosi merely annoys hers.

Number Two – Mao never had plastic surgery. Pelosi has gone under the knife so often that she can no longer blink.

Number Three – Mao led his followers in the 10,000 Mile March. Pelosi couldn’t lead a horse to water.
