Open Warfare: Romney calls Trump ‘a phony, a fraud’; Trump calls Romney ‘failed candidate’

Open Warfare: Romney calls Trump ‘a phony, a fraud’; Trump calls Romney ‘failed candidate.’ Way to go GOP and Romney! Let’s give Hillary plenty of ad content for the election if Trump runs. We have little doubt we’re witnessing the end of the Republican Party. They’re committing suicide by stupidity. The Democrats must be rolling on the floor laughing at this whiny speech.

At least he has his priorities straight: President refers to himself 132 times in one speech

Based on last week’s speech in Ohio, we’d have to conclude that the most important issue to President Obama is…well…President Obama.

Let’s just change his name to President Ego-bama and get it over with.

Maggie Thatcher gives the socialists hell in the House of Commons. Sit back and enjoy.

Entering the British House of Commons is like jumping into a shark tank. If you bleed, you die.

This video clip shows British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher’s final moments before the House of Commons back on November 22, 1990. You can’t help but feel pride as she defends her brand of conservatism against the attacks of British socialists.

My god, she was a tough old dame. And we say that in the best sense of the word.

When will some young conservative to step up and become the next Ronald Reagan or Maggie Thatcher?

C’mon, we’ve never needed you like we need you now.

Leftist Thought is an Oxymoron

This is a year old, but it is one of the best videos you will ever see. It shows excerpts of Dennis Prager’s speech at the Freedom Center 20th Anniversary Gala on May, 20, 2008. As valid today as it was then.

Ronald Reagan speaks to the ’64 Republican convention

Thanks to the folks at MofoPolitics.com for reminding us of that moment in history when Ronald Reagan was thrust upon the national stage.

“It occurs to me having just watched this,” Mofo said, “that Barack Obama isn’t regarded as so charismatic and articulate because he is so charismatic and so articulate, but because he is so charismatic and so articulate in comparison to those politicians he has had the good fortune to run against.”

No fancy production values. No special effects. No overpaid speech writers. Just Ronald Reagan being Ronald Reagan.

Obama can’t adlib, takes teleprompter everywhere

Say what? Turns out President Obama, a man whose soaring oratory won him an election, is hapless and helpless without his Teleprompter. He refuses to give a speech without one (see accompanying video to see why).

The ol’ teleprompter broke down a few times on the campaign trail last summer and Obama responded by delivering some “less than ordinary” speeches.

Presidential historians admit no other president has ever been so dependent on the device. “It’s just something presidents haven’t done,” Martha Joynt Kumar said. “It’s jarring to the eye. In a way, it stands in the middle between the audience and the president because his eye is on the teleprompter.”

Fine. Let Obama have his Teleprompter. But please don’t buy one for Joe Biden.

IHateTheMedia.com depends on the vice president’s ad libs as much as Obama depends on his Teleprompter.

CNN’s Castellanos says “Listening to Obama is like sex.” If only it were over as quickly.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnDibuQM-g0A few weeks ago, we wrote about Nancy Pelosi and her lust for Obama’s “stimulus” package. But now CNN has given life to something we thought was parody.

On Sunday’s “State of the Union” show, Republican strategist, CNN contributor and nutcase Alex Castellanos said, “…A friend told me once that listening to Barack Obama give a speech is like sex. The worst there ever was, was excellent.”

We’ve always been ambivalent about sex education, but this statement leads us to conclude that America’s children are woefully ignorant when it comes to the reproductive sciences.

If only Obama’a speeches were over in two minutes like sex. Uhhh…like other people’s sex, we mean. Not ours. We are the studs of the universe and women swoon at our feet. Really.

13-year old author speaks at CPAC, makes millions ashamed of their lives

Jonathan Krone, 13-year old author of “Define Conservatism” delivered an address at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, DC this weekend.

To repeat, the kid’s thirteen years old. He’s already written a book. And he’s a hell of a good speaker, too.

We did an informal survey of the editorial staff here at IHateTheMedia.com, asking the question “What were you doing when you were thirteen?” The results are as follows:

33% were collecting baseball cards and comic books.

33% were worried about pimples.

33% were inappropriately touching themselves.

Damn you, Jonathan Krone, damn you. If we didn’t admire you so much, we’d hate you.

Judging panel tries to abort little girl’s abortion speech

Here’s another reason we hate the media.

This YouTube video has been viewed by nearly 265,000 people since February 3, 2009. Yet according to a Google News Search, the story’s been covered by just one newspaper.

Lia, a 12-year-old Toronto girl, has become an internet sensation since her mom posted this video. It shows Lia delivering a five-minute pro-life speech in a school competition.

Before the competition began, she was told she wouldn’t be allowed to compete unless she changed the topic of her speech. Despite hostility from the judges, her speech was so outstanding that she won the competition. Sadly, she was later disqualified because the subject of her speech was too “controversial.”

If you hate the media, you’ll love the speech. No matter what your position on abortion may be.

Obama team hiring journalists fast as they can be laid off

The newspaper business may be dying, but journalists’ careers are being reincarnated by the Obama administration.

The latest is the Chicago Tribune’s Jill Zuckman. She’s hooking up with the administration as Director of Public Affairs at the Department of Transportation. Peter Gosselin, one of her coworkers at the Trib, recently hired on as chief speech writer for Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner. Time Magazine’s Jay Carney is now Joe Biden’s communications director. CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta is rumored to be in the running for Surgeon General.

Many conservatives fear this intentional blurring of the lines between impartial journalism and partisan politics.
