Michelle Antoinette vs. Governor Moonbeam: California bans trans fats everywhere except public school cafeterias

Upon closer examination it looks like California AB97 bans those pesky trans fats everywhere except public school cafeterias.

First Lady Michelle Antoinette is on the warpath against trans fats. She wants to spend billions of dollars building salad bars in more than 6,000 public schools. Of course, she’s doing it for the chiiiiiildren.

ab 97 exemptions
"Mmmmmm. I'd like a big plate of AB-97 exemptions for lunch."

The First Lady should be pleased to know that a new California bill, AB-97, that went into effect on January 1 bans trans fats throughout the state.

Whoa. Wait just a minute, Michelle. Upon closer examination it looks like AB97 bans those pesky trans fats everywhere except public school cafeterias.

The only other exemption is pre-packaged foods. You know, like Twinkies and Doritos and those tasty fruit pies and stuff sold in vending machines, which, if we’re not mistaken, account for a high percentage of the foods sold in public school cafeterias that aren’t served by old ladies wearing hairnets.

This could lead to a smackdown between the First Lady and Governor Moonbeam. And as California residents we can say with a high degree of certainty that we’re pretty sure the First Lady can kick the Governor’s ass.

Of course, we’re also pretty confident that the old ladies in the hairnets can also kick the Governor’s ass.

Here’s AB97 for your reading and dining pleasure. Chow down, kids! Trans fats for everyone!

20% of Californians admit they’re crazy, which proves the other 80% need their heads examined

Almost 5 million California adults say they could use help with a mental or emotional problem, according to a survey released Wednesday by researchers at UCLA.

Surely, the rest of the country will be surprised that only 20% of Californians think they’re crazy. After all, these are the people who routinely, handily elect and re-elect Barbara Boxer, Dianne Feinstein, Maxine Waters, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jerry Brown.

The L.A. Times has the inside information on the statewide insanity:

crazy california voter
Just your typical California voter getting ready to cast his ballot for the Democrat slate of candidates

Almost 5 million California adults say they could use help with a mental or emotional problem, according to a survey released Wednesday by researchers at UCLA. About 1 million of them meet the criteria for “serious psychological distress.”

However, only one in three people who perceive a need for mental health services or are in serious distress have seen a professional for treatment, the survey found.

The survey was conducted among more than 44,000 adults as part of the 2005 California Health Interview Survey, administered through the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research. Since the survey was conducted, the recession probably has contributed to worsening mental health for even more people, said the lead author of the study, David Grant.

Albert Einstein said “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”. Re-electing Democrats to solve the problems they’ve caused in California is definitely insane.

Stupidest law ever: California legislature approves ‘Cuss Free Week’

California may be financially bankrupt, but that doesn’t mean it’s morally bankrupt. The state legislature proved that by approving a statewide “Cuss Free Week”.

Fox News has the all the stupid #$%&# details:

The resolution by Assemblyman Anthony Portantino, D-La Canada Flintridge, was inspired by a South Pasadena teenager, McKay Hatch, who founded a No Cussing Club at his junior high school in 2007. His efforts to stamp out profanity have generated international attention, with 35,000 members joining the No Cussing Club’s Web site.

Portantino said the California Legislature — known for imposing strict clean air and clean water laws — is the first state legislative body in the nation to consider a statewide profanity-free week.

Hatch, now 16, said he sees a link between cussing and drug use, bullying and other harmful behavior. A cuss-free world would be a more harmonious one, he said.

This poor kid could only have been raised in the People’s Republic of California.

Peace, love, happiness, fruit and granola for everyone.

And make it #%#$& snappy.

The Governator versus the squirrels

Mr. Schwarzenegger singled out environmental obstacles that are blocking construction of alternative energy farms in the Mojave Desert.

Arnold girds his loins to do battle with the dreaded economy-killing squirrels

There was a time when Arnold Schwarzenegger battled alien robots and Russian spies. After several years in politics, his enemies have come down a few notches. He now fights squirrels.

The worst governor in California history is upset with economic impact of the red tape the Democrat-controlled legislature has imposed on the state.

The Wall Street Journal reports the governor’s grievances:

“Right now the way it’s written, a lot of those laws, it’s an invitation to misuse them,” he told reporters last week. “And it holds up projects for too long a period of time, especially now.”

Mr. Schwarzenegger singled out environmental obstacles that are blocking construction of alternative energy farms in the Mojave Desert. Some of his green allies have become “fanatics,” he said, and “go overboard.” He then launched an extended riff explaining why he thought environmental objections to the Mojave Desert projects on the grounds they could hurt endangered species were, well, specious.

“So the environmentalists . . . are confused because they want to have renewable energy but then when it comes to the permitting process, creating that renewable energy and building the solar plants, they are then in the way.

And they then talk about, ‘You cannot go and destroy this squirrel.'”

“I say, ‘What squirrel? I was out there, I didn’t see a squirrel.’

“They say, ‘Well, there could be a squirrel coming very soon.’

“So I say, ‘But there’s no squirrel there right now.’

“‘But you’ve got to protect things that could be there.'”

He’s right, of course, but it’s just difficult for any California resident to believe anything that comes out of this guy’s mouth anymore.

But by using squirrels, Schwarzenegger has captured the perfect metaphor for California’s dysfunctional government.

When is a tax not a tax? When it’s an interest-free loan.

If you work in California you may want to do a quick paycheck comparison and check this week’s pay stub against last week’s. Californians are beginning November with a 10% increase in their paycheck withholding.

big-taxes Californians, don’t you worry about your state being bankrupt. Rest assured that your elected representatives in Sacramento are working tirelessly to spread the poverty around and make sure the entire citizenry is equally bereft.

If you work in California you may want to do a quick paycheck comparison and check this week’s pay stub against last week’s. Californians are beginning November with a 10% increase in their paycheck withholding.

The LA Times reassuringly reports that “Technically, it’s not a tax increase,” it’s “part of a bundle of budget patches.” So what does that mean? Lawmakers aren’t exactly sure, they just know they need the extra cash.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Sacramento’s Democrat legislature and the RINO Governator are trying to close a “gaping budget deficit, now estimated to be $7 billion this year and reach as high as $20 billion next.”

Will this little “loan” close the deficit? Well, no. “The extra withholding tax will reduce Californians’ take-home pay by about $1.7 billion for the year. But the lawmakers say this isn’t a tax increase. OK, how about calling it a compulsory interest-free loan from taxpayers to the state?”

The Journal also questions the reliability of the Golden State’s representatives to guard the gold, as it were. “And we almost hate to ask: What happens come April if the state doesn’t have enough money to pay the tax refunds it owes its citizens? Will taxpayers get IOUs the way state contractors did last year when Sacramento ran out of money?”

Have the pols in Sacramento thought that far ahead? We’re not going to hazard a prediction. But if we can achieve Universal Heath Care For All and a smaller carbon footprint by next year, then by god, whatever happens to taxpayers is going to be worth it.

25% of California voters are too damn stupid to be allowed to vote

Here’s how a new survey from Rasmussen Reports tells the story:

Nearly two-out-of-three California voters (64%) say illegal immigrants put a significant strain on the state budget as lawmakers struggle to close a $26 billion deficit.

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of California voters shows that just 25% say illegal immigrants are not a major strain on the state budget. Eleven percent (11%) are not sure.

Here’s a reality check for that 25% who think illegal aliens are not a strain on the budget and for the 11% who aren’t sure:

40% of all workers in L.A. County (L.A. County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This was because they are predominantly illegal aliens working without a green card.

95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

Nearly 25% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.

Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.

Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

There are 21 Spanish language radio stations in Los Angeles.

In L.A. County 5.1 million people speak English. 3.9 million speak Spanish. (There are 10.2 million people in L.A. County ).

70% of the United States’ annual population growth (and over 90% of California, Florida, and New York) is from illegal aliens.

And finally, less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare.

Despite these horrifying stats, 25% of voters think illegal aliens are just fine and dandy. And another 11% don’t have an opinion.

Wake up, you ignorant dunces, wake up.

It’s been suggested by a California Assemblyman that California could tax away its budget problems if only it would legalize marijuana.

The State Board of Equalization’s analysis says California could net $1.4 billion by taxing legal pot.

According to the Sacramento Bee, the bill introduced by Assemblyman Tom Ammiano (D-People’s Republic of San Francisco) “would impose not only sales taxes but a $50 per ounce fee on marijuana sales, which would be licensed by the state much as alcoholic beverages are regulated…”

“We can no longer afford to keep our heads in the sand when it comes to marijuana,” Ammiano said in a statement.

“I’m friggin’ starving,” he reportedly added. “Are you going to finish those pork rinds? How about those cupcakes? And your Fritos look delicious.”

The gold is gone: How out-of-control spending bankrupted the Golden State

After adjusting for inflation, the state now spends nearly 20% more per capita than it did 18 years ago; even as California’s tax revenues increased by 167% during that period, state spending exploded by 189%.

They always say, “As California goes, so goes the nation.” And California’s going bankrupt.

How could the ninth largest economy in the world go so wrong so fast? Here’s how RealClearPolitics.com sums it up:

“Ultimately, any honest assessment of California’s plight must assign responsibility for the state’s fiscal crisis – not to the taxpayers who voted for Prop. 13 three decades ago – but to the politicians who have subsequently exploited them without mercy. Indeed, if spending had simply reflected average population growth plus the average increase in the cost of living since 1991, there would now be a $15 billion surplus. After adjusting for inflation, the state now spends nearly 20% more per capita than it did 18 years ago; even as California’s tax revenues increased by 167% during that period, state spending exploded by 189%.”

Quote of the Day
“The governor’s not against fruits of any kind.”

Arnold Schwarzeneggernow has an overinflated opinion of himself. California voters know better.
Arnold now has an overinflated opinion of himself. California voters know better.

No, this wasn’t a commentary on California’s Proposition 8. It was another example of California’s legislature fiddling while Sacramento burns.

White the state is $45 billion in debt with no apparent hope of balancing its budget, its legislature is debating the definition of condiments.

“The governor is not against condiments. The governor’s not against fruits of any kind,” said spokesman Aaron McLear. “But he believes we ought to be focused on solving our budget crisis first and foremost.”

Instead, the state Assembly spent Tuesday debating the creation of a commission to market the state’s blueberry industry and the definitions of honey and “100-percent pomegranate juice.”

“Look, we’re pro-condiment, we’re pro-fruit,” McLear said, “but the focus needs to be on the budget crisis.”

There was a time when Arnold Schwarzenegger called his political opponents girlymen. Now he’s become one of them, cowering in fear before the mighty force of the pro-condiment lobby.

Obama uses California as “energy example for the nation.” Wrong!

President Obama called California’s “energy-efficiency policies” an example for the rest of the nation. Not a good example actually.

The President says California has a brilliant energy policy that should be emulated by the rest of the country.
The President says California has a brilliant energy policy that should be emulated by the rest of the country.

President Obama must be a Michael Jackson fan. Because when he talks about California’s energy policy, he’s definitely in Neverland.

Yesterday the President called California’s “energy-efficiency policies” an example for the rest of the nation and noted that “Californians consume 40 percent less energy per person than the national average.”

Harvard’s Edward Glaeser logically points out that California’s temperate climate has far more impact on the state’s low energy consumption than the state’s draconian energy policies.

“January temperature does a terrific job of explaining carbon emissions from home heating and July temperature does almost as well at explaining electricity usage,” Glaeser noted. “California has the most temperate climate in the country and as a result, homes use less heat in the winter and less electricity in the summer. In hot, humid Houston or frigid Minneapolis, people use plenty of energy to artificially recreate what California has naturally.”

According to the President’s illogical spin, California’s lack of power plants is another sign of its success. But in reality, California uses 20% more electricity than it generates and is forced to import power from neighboring states that aren’t crippled by California’s overly-strict environmental regulations.

The President may have been completely wrong about California, but at least he’s consistent. He’s wrong about the other 56 states, too.

Schwarzenegger tries to scam the voters again with flat tax proposal

Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger personifies the sad decline of the state of California
Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger personifies the sad decline of the state of California

California’s sad excuse for a governor has come out in favor of a flat tax. Hah!

As the LA Times reports: “Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger said today that he would like to see such ‘radical’ proposals come out of a commission now studying an overhaul of the state’s tax system. The governor told the editorial board of the Sacramento Bee that he hoped the commission would not be afraid to propose something like ‘a 15% straight tax.’”

“That’s the kind of radical, daring kind of a proposal that I want to see on the table so we can look at it and say, ‘Oh, let’s study this, maybe that is the way to go,’ ” Schwarzenegger said.

Don’t get us wrong. In theory, we love the flat tax concept: Everyone pays the same percentage of all income. Minimal or no deductions.

But here’s the problem with the Schwartzenegger’s scam. The current highest tax rate in California is 9.1% on taxable income over $91,000 (after all your deductions are considered), but under this bogus flat tax plan everyone would pay 15% with minimal or no deductions.

It’s going to be interesting to see how Schwartzenegger tries to convince the people of California that paying 15% with no deductions is better than paying 9.1% with deductions.

In the thoughts, if not the words of the Governor, “Keep your eye on the pea while I move these walnut shells around.”

Schwartzenegger wants to cut everything except services to illegal immigrants aliens

Members of an illegal alien social club on their way to pick crops in California's fields
Members of an illegal alien social club on their way to pick crops in California's fields

California Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger pounded the final nail in his own political coffin yesterday when he announced that he’s “happy” that illegal aliens get state services. Then he tapped the nail in a little further by saying they’re not to blame for the state’s $24.3 billion deficit.

Schwarzenegger noted that the state spends a mere $4 billion to $5 billion the state on illegal aliens each year, but said that’s just a “small percentage” of the deficit. And that’s true if you consider 20% a small percentage.

The soon-to-be former Governor told The Sacramento Bee that it’s easy to “scapegoat” illegal immigrants. The turncoat Republican insisted that the Feds requires the state to provide emergency health care and education to illegal aliens. And what the hell, he said, the illegal aliens pick crops and build buildings.

Perhaps the Governor hasn’t seen these grim statistics on illegal aliens (some people have nitpicked these stats, but they’re frightening if they’re only half true):

    1. 40% of all workers in L.A. County (L.A. County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This was because they are predominantly illegal aliens working without a green card.
    2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.
    3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.
    4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers.
    5. Nearly 25% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.
    6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.
    7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.
    8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.
    9. There are 21 Spanish language radio stations in Los Angeles.
    10. In L.A. County 5.1 million people speak English. 3.9 million speak Spanish. (There are 10.2 million people in L.A. County ).
    11. Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare.
    12. Over 70% of the United States’ annual population growth (and over 90% of California, Florida, and New York) is from illegal aliens.

"The New Girl" introduces kindergarten children to the concept of homosexuality.

Brace yourself, Buckeroo. The Alameda County Board of Education has approved a mandatory gay education program for children from kindergarten through fifth grade.

The program is officially titled “LGBT Lesson #9. It’s probably unnecessary to mention that the school district is in California.

Beginning next year, Alameda’s innocent tykes will begin learning about “tolerance” for the gay lifestyle. Unbelievably, parents cannot opt out of lessons. Not even if the program violates their religious beliefs.

“We are not telling anyone what to think,” school district trustee Tracy Jensen said with a completely straight face. “We are letting children know that gay people exist and they deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of whether or not you believe that homosexuality is acceptable.”

“Five year old kids aren’t ready to think on their own about sexuality, and their families’ values will be dismissed,” Karen England criticized. “That’s not an education in critical thinking. It’s social activism.”

Kindergarten kids will be read a book called “The New Girl…And Me.” It’s about a new girl who makes friends with another girl.

First graders will read a book called “Who Is In A Family?” which explores alternate types of families. “Robin’s family,” the book says “is made up of her dad, Clifford, her dad’s partner, Henry, and Robin’s cat, Sassy.”

Second graders will tackle “And Tango Makes Three,” a book about two gay penguins that raise  a chick named Tango. The kids will learn that Roy and Silo are “a little bit different” and that “Tango was the very first penguin in the zoo to have two daddies.”

Third graders will watch a film called “That’s a Family,” featuring some homosexual couples and some token traditional families.

We’re not sure what year the student will learn about Republicans lynching gay black men in the White House Rose Garden, but we wouldn’t be surprised if that’s part of the curriculum, too. Or soon will be.

Crazy, unsustainable salaries doom San Francisco and other California cities

Consider the city of San Francisco a microcosm of what’s happening in the rest of California. A bankrupt microcosm.

As you’d expect, it’s doomed by its own socialist spending spree, the cost of providing education, medical and jail facilities to illegal aliens, and a bloated bureaucracy.

But the salaries it’s paying city employees are absolutely insane. In 2007, the city had more than 8000 employees who “earned” more than $100,000 per year. Here’s a list of the city’s twenty highest-paid public employees:

Top 20 San Francisco government salaries

$350,324 for a Special Nurse. $325,452 for the General Manager of the Municipal Railway. $270,171 for a Captain in the Fire Department. It’s insane.

How can a nurse make $350,324? In a word, overtime. Here’s how Special Nurse Christian Kitchin’s income broke down:

Regular pay $117,262
Overtime pay $216,277
Other pay $16,785
Total pay $350,324

And don’t forget that this is on top of generous government retirement and health care schemes that aren’t available to the rest of us.

You can see the details of all 8,000 of these government employees’ salaries with the handy list generator at SFGate.com.

Mayor Gavin Newsom, the whiz kid whose managerial genius has bankrupted San Francisco, is now running for Governor of California.

We know how we’ll vote.

California bankrupt because it spent too much, not because it taxed too little

Would someone at the L.A. Times, San Francisco Chronicle or Sacramento Bee please explain how it’s possible for San Diego County to run up a $700 million surplus while the state of California is running up a $45 billion deficit?

These esteemed newspapers seem to think the only solution to the state’s legislature-induced suicide is more taxes, higher taxes, and really creative taxes.

Perhaps they should watch as Dianne Jacob, Chairman of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, explains that California has a spending problem, not a revenue problem.

California Speaker Bass thinks voters are stupid confused to do the right thing

Why did California voters overwhelmingly reject all those tax-and-spend ballot measures last week? According to California Speaker of the Assembly Karen Bass, it’s because they’re too confused to comprehend the opportunity that had been presented to them by Arnold Schwartzenegger and the geniuses in the state legislature.

“I would go into a room,” she said, “…and I found the basic fact that voters were very confused about what it is we were asking them to do and why we were asking them to help us solve the budget problem.”

They were confused alright, honey. They were confused by the state’s profligate spending. Confused by its ballooning budget. Confused by the millions spent mollycoddling illegal aliens. Confused by the willful waste of their hard-earned tax dollars. And confused by the labor unions’ stranglehold on state’s future.

We were confused, but we just had a moment of complete clarity. So how about if you shut the hell up, Ms. Bass. Slash the spending. Cut the unions down to size. Pass a responsible budget that stops driving business and people out of the state. End the mollycoddling of illegal aliens.

You lying, hypocritical piece of over-spending excrement.

“Milk” screenwriter wants annual Harvey Milk Day in California

Benjamin Button prepares to celebrate "Old Guy With Young Chick Day"
Benjamin Button prepares to celebrate "Old Guy With Young Chick Day"

Dustin Lance Black, the guy who wrote “Milk,” says he’s hopeful that California will name May 22 as Harvey Milk Day.

Here’s how WilshireAndWashington.com reported it:

After he testified on Wednesday before the state Senate’s education committee, the panel voted 7-2 to send the bill to the full Senate.

“We not only won the vote, but we actually got bipartisan support,” he said from San Francisco. “That was very exciting to me. I got a little misty eyed.”

Black told the committee of how, when he was 14 and struggling with being gay in a conservative environment, a theater director in the Bay area told him the story of Milk, the nation’s first openly gay elected official, and how he “stood up to prejudice and bigotry” and “lived openly as who he was.”

“The big point I made is I was one of the lucky kids,” Black said. “But why did it have to happen through luck?”

In a related move fully-supported by the Hollywood community, the writer of “Benjamin Button” proposed that “Old Guy With Young Chick Day” be declared in both May and December.

LA Times calls the kettle black, says “Conservative talk radio on the wane in California”

The Los Angeles Times looked through a keyhole this week and surveyed the landscape of conservative talk radio in California.

They made gross generalizations, told lies of omission, and distorted reality to prove a point that’s unsupported by the facts. The story would have been far more accurate had it been headlined, “Local radio on the wane in California.”

“The economy’s downturn has depressed ad revenue at stations across the state, thinning the ranks of conservative broadcasters.”

In order to be more accurate, the Times should have said, “The economy’s downturn has depressed ad revenue at stations across the state, thinning the ranks of all local broadcasters and all formats.”

The Times continued:

“(B)ut for all the anti-tax swagger and the occasional stunts by personalities like KFI’s John and Ken, the reality is that conservative talk radio in California is on the wane. The economy’s downturn has depressed ad revenue at stations across the state, thinning the ranks of conservative broadcasters.”

To be more accurate, it should have read, “The economy’s downturn has depressed ad revenue at stations across the state, thinning the ranks of all local broadcasters.””

“For that and other reasons, stations have dropped the shows of at least half a dozen radio personalities and scaled back others, in some cases replacing them with cheaper nationally syndicated programs.”

“Casualties include Mark Larson in San Diego, Larry Elder and John Ziegler in Los Angeles, Melanie Morgan in San Francisco, and Phil Cowen and Mark Williams in Sacramento.”

Oops. Ziegler did leave conservative powerhouse KFI, but was immediately replaced by Kennedy & Suits, two other local conservative talkers.

Contrary to what the Times would have its readers believe, conservative talk radio is faring better than the struggling radio industry in general and certainly better than floundering libtalk radio.

Take the Los Angeles market, for example.

KFI-AM, Rush Limbaugh’s conservative Southern California affiliate, is the dominant talk station in the region. The January 2009 ratings show KFI with a 4.3 share, higher than even its pre-election ratings. It is now the third highest-rated station in the market. It features 11 hours per day of local talk programming and its local morning and afternoon shows have tremendous ratings.

KTLK-AM, Los Angeles’ libtalk station, has a barely measurable 0.6 share, its lowest in the last four months. Far as we can tell, KTLK’s entire schedule is nationally-syndicated.

Let’s review: Conservative talk is booming. Lib talk is evaporating. Local conservative talk radio is booming. Local lib talk radio is non-existent.

We’re used to seeing the liberal Los Angeles Times putting its wagons in a circle to protect its own, but this story would have been more appropriate in the comic section.

Perhaps, just perhaps, this boils down to a case of jealousy on the part of the Times. After all, its circulation has dropped from a peak of 1,100,000 to a current anemic 739,000. It’s shedding sections, pages, employees, and prestige at a remarkable rate.

Which seems to indicate it’s actually liberal media that’s struggling.

15,000 attend Southern California tax revolt rally, national media silent

tax revolt poster

We hate the media in general, but we love afternoon talk show hosts John & Ken of KFI radio in L.A. And if the media ignores their popular tax revolt, we’ll give them a hand.

The talk team drew 15,000 people last week to their “Revolt, Recall, Repeal Rally” to protest California’s $50 billion tax increase and to begin recall efforts aimed at the governor and several state legislators. it was covered locally, but did you see any national coverage? Ten NOW protestors on the on the White House steps makes news, but not 15,000 in a tax revolt? Of course, we’re not surprised.

During the rally, DVDs and VHS tapes of Schwarzenegger’s movies were enthusiastically trashed by the crowd. John & Ken provided “The Shredinator” to shred other Schwarzenegger memorabilia.

The KFI hosts also played recordings of Schwartzenegger promising he would never raise taxes, which elicited a loud, angry response from the crowd.

“This has been a complete disaster and it’s time to do something about it,” they said. “He should be apologizing to you and he should be resigning!”

Schwarzenegger proves he’s all wet with drought declaration

Manlygirl (l) and Girlyman (r)

Two-faced California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger declared a state of emergency Friday, urging urban water systems to cut usage by 20%.

“This drought is having a devastating impact on our people, our communities, our economy and our environment, making today’s action absolutely necessary,” the so-called Republican governor said.

According to Brietbart.com, “The drought has forced farmers to fallow their fields, put thousands of agricultural workers out of work and led to conservation measures in cities throughout the state, which is the nation’s top agricultural producer.”

In related news, California is increasing taxes and spending $8 billion more this fiscal year than last, despite the fact that the state is virtually bankrupt and the its budget deficit is nearing $42 billion.

We’re turning on all the taps, because based on that same twisted logic, the only way to solve the drought is for everyone to use more water.

Morons.
