Las Vegas stabbing suspect is in US illegally, has criminal record in California: source

Yoni Barrios, 32, was taken into custody after police say he fatally stabbed two people and injured six others on Oct. 6, 2022.

Las Vegas stabbing suspect is in US illegally, has criminal record in California. This is yet another Democrat failure on multiple levels. Two people dead, 6 stabbed, due to stupid policies. Keep voting Democrat for more death and maiming.

FBI Whistleblower Says 90% Certainty that the Las Vegas Mandalin Bay Was an ISIS Attack

FBI Whistleblower Says 90% Certainty that the Las Vegas Mandalin Bay Was an ISIS Attack. Does the FBI do anything good anymore? They’ve become the scum of alphabet agencies.

Former FBI special agent John Guandolo told Turning Point USA in a recorded interview (below) that there’s a 90% certainty that the Las Vegas attack was a jihadi operation and [scumbag’s name redacted] was the conduit through which the terrorist organization attacked America.

In the interview, Guandolo said, “When you look at what actually transpired and put it together from a counter-espionage attack and counter-espionage look, the probability that was an ISIS attack is well over 90%.”

He said the special agent in charge of the Las Vegas FBI field office “got angry and dismissed it, and when presented with the information, FBI headquarters in Washington, D.C., dismissed it out of hand.”

More: Now ANTIFA is claiming one of their supporters did it.

UPDATE: Fox new tally is 58 dear, 515 injured.

Obama blows $1.5 billion in Vegas after telling you not to blow your money in Vegas

Sure, those states are hard hit. But Obama announced his largesse in Las Vegas was to help the hardest hit of all, poll-challenged Nevada Senator Harry Reid.

Last week President Obama warned Americans not to spend money like the federal government does. Specifically, don’t go to Las Vegas and bet it all on one spin of the roulette wheel.

Then this week he traveled to Las Vegas and said, “We’re going to spend another $1.5 billion on another wacky liberal scheme to save your house. And by the way, vote for Harry Reid.” OK, perhaps that’s not an exact quote, but it’s a reasonable approximation.

Obama’s move, detailed by aides in advance of his town hall here Friday, is the latest by a White House determined to show it is helping families rebound from a deep recession. The downturn is taking an election-year toll on Obama’s party as voter frustration builds.

Obama was to announce that housing finance agencies in the five hardest-hit states in the housing crisis will receive $1.5 billion to help spur local solutions to the problem. Those five are Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan and Nevada.

Sure, those states are hard hit. But Obama announced his largesse in Las Vegas was to help the hardest hit of all, poll-challenged Nevada Senator Harry Reid.

This guy has poll numbers that make Obama’s look positively robust. And $1.5 billion of your tax dollars is a mere pittance if it will help keep one Democrat in office.

Mayor warns Obama to stay away from Las Vegas

President Obama stuck his foot deeply in his mouth when he criticized Las Vegas for a second time this year. Colorful Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman did not take kindly to the President’s remarks.

President Obama stuck his foot deeply in his mouth when he criticized Las Vegas for a second time this year.

“You don’t go buying a boat when you can barely pay your mortgage,” he said at a New Hampshire town hall. “You don’t blow a bunch of cash in Vegas when you’re trying to save for college. You prioritize. You make tough choices. And it’s time your government did the same.”

Colorful Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman did not take kindly to the President’s remarks.

“I guess you’ve all seen the president’s remarks or read about the president’s remarks. Well, I’ve got some remarks of my own. I was back in Washington, D.C. about two weeks ago, going up and down the halls of the capitol telling people about our economy here, trying to get them to be sympathetic to what we’re trying to accomplish, then I have to read what President Obama said.

“He has a real psychological hang up about the entertainment capitol of the world. An apology won’t be acceptable this time, I don’t know where his vendetta comes from but we’re not going to let him make his bones by lambasting Las Vegas, that’s why (the press) is here today.

“He didn’t learn his lesson the first time, but when he hurt our economy by his ill conceived rhetoric, we didn’t think it would happen again, but now that it has I want to assure you, when he comes I’ll do everything I can to give him the boot back to Washington and to visit his failures back there.

“I gotta tell you this, everybody says I shouldn’t say it, but I gotta tell you the way it is. This president is a real slow learner.”

Or in the words of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, the President is a f@cking retard.

Harry Reid craps out with his hometown newspaper

When was the last time you saw a state’s largest newspaper eviscerate a powerful, influential politician as thoroughly as the Las Vegas Review-Journal gutted Harry Reid on Sunday?

When was the last time you saw a state’s largest newspaper eviscerate a powerful, influential politician as thoroughly as the Las Vegas Review-Journal gutted Harry Reid on Sunday?

Their relationship has been rocky for years. But Harry made the mistake of telling the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce that he hopes the Review-Journal goes out of business. The paper responded with a scathing editorial:

Harry Reid craps out in Vegas

Harry "Mr. Excitement" Reid couldn't contain his glee at Wednesday night's fundraiser.
Harry "Mr. Excitement" Reid couldn't contain his glee at Wednesday night's fundraiser.

Harry Reid called in reinforcements at his fundraiser Wednesday night in Las Vegas.

Here’s how the Huffington Post described the event:

“So, yesterday, the first big political fundraiser of the year was held here at Caesars Palace to kick off Reid’s reelection campaign. Bette Midler, Sheryl Crow, Rita Rudner and Clint Holmes entertained. But the big draw was President Obama.”

Sounds fabulous. Nevadans must have turned out in droves to see President Obama and all those world class entertainers. Tickets must have been hard to come by.

Or maybe not. Here’s the next paragraph from HuffPo:

“At any rate, the fundraiser was a great success. (Even though a limited number of tickets were given away by a business called House Seats that is utilized by local venues to ensure a full house.)”

To repeat, they had to give tickets away because they couldn’t sell ’em. An empty room would given visual evidence of Reid’s shaky grasp on power.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal quotes a Republican on Reid:

“‘Frankly, it speaks to the Democrat Leader’s deep unpopularity at home that he is already calling in reinforcements from Washington to help boost his sagging approval numbers in Nevada,’ Brian Walsh, a spokesman for the National Republican Senatorial Committee, said in an e-mailed statement Tuesday. ‘Once again tonight, Harry Reid is simply reminding Nevadans that he’s more in touch with the Democrats in Washington than with the voters in his state.'”

It may be true that Harry Reid is completely devoid of personality and popularity. But in his defense, we don’t think Jesus Christ could draw a full house in Vegas if Midler and Crowe were his opening acts.

President refuses to meet with governor, governor calls him a hypocrite

Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons is not happy with President Obama
Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons is not happy with President Obama

Earlier this year, the President Obama told an Elkhart, Indiana audience, “You can’t get corporate jets. You can’t go take a trip to Las Vegas or go down to the Super Bowl on the taxpayer’s dime.”

Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons fired back on Tuesday after Obama declined an invitation to meet with Gibbons and the state’s business leaders.

“I am disappointed at the hypocrisy shown by this Administration,” Gibbons said. “President Obama is coming to Las Vegas later this month for a political fundraiser, but he will not help the struggling families in Las Vegas and Nevada who are out of work because of his reckless comments.”

“President Obama is coming to Las Vegas to raise campaign cash for Senator Harry Reid, apparently our money is good enough for the President, but our tourism, jobs, and economic future are not.” Gibbons added, “This is politics, pure and simple, President Obama stood for change, but all he has done is brought negative economic change to Nevada.”

Since Obama’s comments, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority has lost more than 400 conventions and meetings, costing Vegas in excess of $100 million.

We say keep President Obama out of Las Vegas. The way he’s been going, he’d might be tempted to head for the roulette tables and put all the stimulus money on red.

What the hell, his odds of success are probably higher than the way he’s gambling it all away now.
