Is it Muammar or is it Michael?

Take our little test. Here are twelve photos – some of Muammar, some of Michael. We’ve blurred the faces and any other details that would give you a clue as to which is which.

As you may have noticed, Muammar Gaddafi has been in the news lately. A lot. And every time he shows up in public he’s wearing another outrageous outfit.

Who does this guy remind us of, we wondered to ourselves. Who? And then it hit us.

Michael Jackson.

Yes, the Dictator of Libya dresses just like the King of Pop. To put it another way, Colonel Gaddafi is Captain Eo. On top of that, they both have the same general build, the same stringy black hair, and somewhere in the middle of Michael’s color change, they had the same complexion. But what’s crazy is that they have the same sense of fashion. If that’s what it can be called.

So take our little test. Here are twelve photos – some of Muammar, some of Michael. We’ve blurred the faces and any other details that would give you a clue as to which is which.

See how many you can correctly identify based on their choice of clothing.

Absolutely brilliant: The Chinese Communist Party’s version of Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”

What do you get when you combine the Chinese national orchestra’s version of “The Long March Song Cycle” and Michael Jackson’s “Beat It?”

What do you get when you combine the Chinese national orchestra’s version of “The Long March Song Cycle” and Michael Jackson’s “Beat It?”

It may sound like a bizarre concept, but when you add a remarkably talented editor to the mix, you get this brilliant mash up.

Obama’s Auntie Zeituni (or Michael Jackson) granted political asylum

Obama's Auntie Zeituni has been magically transformed into Michael Jackson

To no one’s surprise, President Obama’s illegal alien aunt Zeituni Onyango has been granted political asylum. But to almost everyone’s surprise, she now looks and dresses exactly like Michael Jackson.

The New York Times reports the story of her new immigration status, but completely ignores the Michael Jackson transformation:

An immigration judge has granted asylum to President Obama’s aunt and will allow her to stay in the United States, her lawyers said Monday. She could become a citizen in about six years.

Zeituni Onyango, 57, who lives in public housing in Boston, is the half-sister of Mr. Obama’s late father and is from Kenya. She moved to the United States in 2000 on a valid visa and has been seeking asylum since 2002.

Judge Leonard Shapiro, an immigration judge in Boston, reached his decision in the long-running case on Friday. Her lawyers announced the decision Monday at their offices in Cleveland.

Ms. Onyango applied for asylum in 2002 and was rejected in 2004 and ordered to leave the country. She continued to fight the case and in April 2009, Judge Leonard Shapiro in Boston stayed her case until February, when hearings were held in the case.

Ms. Onyango had lived in relative anonymity in Boston until just before the 2008 presidential election, when The Times of London found her in what it described as “rundown public housing.”

Coincidentally, Zeituni’s nephew Barack had also been living in relative anonymity until just before the 2008 presidential election. He is also now living in public housing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, but the conditions are considerably less run-down.

Al Sharpton to Jackson kids: “Wasn’t nothin’ strange about your daddy.”

“Wasn’t nothin’ strange about yo’ daddy,” Sharpton said to Jackson’s children at yesterday’s Michael Jackson Memorial Service. “It was strange what yo’ daddy had to deal with.”

What’s strange to you may not be strange to someone else. But surely we can all agree that Al Sharpton’s comments at yesterday’s Michael Jackson Memorial Service & Three-Ring Circus were very damn strange.

“Wasn’t nothin’ strange about yo’ daddy,” Sharpton said to Jackson’s children. “It was strange what yo’ daddy had to deal with.”

Darwinian Story of the Day:
“Michael Jackson Fans are Committing Suicide”

Michael Jackson fanatics have been recently committing suicide because of the pop star’s tragic death.

The Sun UK reports that Michael Jackson fans are offing themselves a bit too often. Life without a grotesque child molester, it seems, just isn’t worth living.

According to Michael Jackson’s largest online fan club, MJ fanatics have been recently committing suicide because of the pop star’s tragic death.

The Sun is reporting that up to 12 die-hard Jackson followers have taken their own lives since his passing on Thursday.

In this case, “die-hard” was probably an inappropriate choice of words.

The Michael Jackson video that says what everyone really thinks about the media coverage

We would never run a video with the language in this video, but creator Jon Lajoie nails the media’s disgust for, and then after his death, love for, Michael Jackson. if you can take objectionable language, it’s a must hear.

Normally, we wouldn’t run a video with the language contained in this music video. But creator Jon Lajoie nails the media’s disgust for, and then after his death, love for, Michael Jackson. If you can take objectionable language, it’s a must hear for anyone who is sick of the media coverage his death and funeral are receiving.

To give you an idea of the content, here is the chorus (he is speaking to the media):

Michael Jackson is dead, don’t pretend you give a sh*t,
you motherf***ing hypocrites, don’t forget what you said he did.

Michael Jackson is dead, no, you never gave a sh*t,
So why are you pretending, you motherf***ing hypocrites?

Squirm-inducing Michael Jackson talks about sex in just uncovered, creepy video

This tape, uncovered by the UK’s News of the World, shows Jackson being grilled by attorneys about child abuse allegations.

Yeah, we know we’re supposed to show respect for the dead, but that doesn’t change the fact that Michael Jackson always creeped us out.

This tape, uncovered by the UK’s News of the World, shows Jackson being grilled by attorneys about child abuse allegations.

The never-before-made-public video was recorded in 1996 after employees at Neverland Ranch sued Jackson. The unseen attorney questions Jackson about his relationship with several young boys – including Jordy Chandler, Mcauley Culkin, and Brett Barnes. Jackson responds by squirming in his seat, laughing nervously, groaning and burying his face in his hands.

It’s not known if attorneys for Bubbles the chimpanzee were given an opportunity to question Jackson.

The Reverend Jesse Jackson offers a message of hope and inspiration and incoherence

Jesse Jackson offers up an inspirational message for Michael Jackson’s fans.

Don’t ask us to explain this video.

As far as we can tell, some guy named Raffle van Exel grabbed Jesse Jackson as he was walking through an airport and asked him to offer up an inspirational message for Michael Jackson’s fans.

Reverend Jackson, of course, has never met a microphone he didn’t like, so he started jabbering away.

We just have three questions about the Reverend’s comments:

Question #1: What’s this “dignity” he attributes to Michael Jackson? The guy’s date at the Grammy Awards was a chimpanzee named Bubbles.

Question #2: When did “decency” become an acronym for child molester?

Question #3: Is it our imagination or is Jesse’s speech pattern starting to sound like he’s reading Dr. Seuss?

Elizabeth Taylor’s emotional statement about Michael Jackson is more about Elizabeth Taylor

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from the death of Michael Jackson, it’s that life goes on. Especially if it’s Elizabeth Taylor’s life.

We prefer to think of Elizabeth Taylor as young and hot rather than old and crazy
We prefer to think of Elizabeth Taylor as young and hot rather than old and crazy

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from the death of Michael Jackson, it’s that life goes on. Especially if it’s Elizabeth Taylor’s life.

The former Hollywood leading lady issued this heartfelt statement about her good friend:

My heart . . . my mind . . . are broken. I loved Michael with all my soul and I can’t imagine life without him. We had so much in common and we had such loving fun together. I was packing up my clothes to go to London for his opening when I heard the news. I still can’t believe it. I don’t want to believe it. It can’t be so. He will live in my heart forever but it’s not enough. My life feels so empty. I don’t think anyone knew how much we loved each other. The purest most giving love I’ve ever known. Oh God! I’m going to miss him. I can’t yet imagine life with out [sic] him. But I guess with God’s help . . . I’ll learn. I keep looking at the photo he gave me of himself, which says, “To my true love Elizabeth, I love you forever.” And, I will love HIM forever.

Wall Street Journal’s Best of the Web points out that the self-absorbed former star referred to herself 23 times in this 162 word statement (and that’s if we exclude the word “we” from the total).

There’s one thing in Taylor’s statement that cannot be disputed.

Her mind is definitely broken.

Michael Jackson at his very best

You have to give Michael Jackson credit. When he was at his best, no one was better. No one. Here he is doing “Billie Jean” live. No back up dancers. Just Michael in the spotlight showing why he was the biggest star in the world.

Prince tries to prove that Michael Jackson isn’t the weirdest man in show biz

Unfortunately, this was not a wardrobe malfunction. It was intentional.
Unfortunately, this was not a wardrobe malfunction. It was intentional.
Prince showed up for a strange interview on Tavis Smiley’s show a few nights ago and seemed intent upon proving that he’s just as crazy as Michael Jackson.

Among the many topics he touched on was chemtrails. That’s the wacko theory that contrails left in the sky by jets are secretly laced with chemicals as part of some giant plan to control the public. Or infect the public. Or something like that.

The recording artist once again known as Prince also believes our government should be based on prophecy and morals, which seems odd coming from a guy who showed up on a televised awards show with his butt hanging out of two holes where the seat of his pants should have been.

Oh, and let’s not leave out his comment that there were eight presidents before George Washington.

Prince is nuts. He’s always been nuts. But Little Red Corvette is still a very cool song.

Michael Jackson sells out 50 London concert dates, apocalypse is near

Michael Jackson is still remarkably popular in London. In the same freakish way, we assume, that the Elephant Man would still be popular in London.

Jackson scheduled a series of “final” concerts in the English capital. Demented Englishmen snapped them up so quickly that more concerts were hastily scheduled. Fifty of them. And they sold out. 750,000 tickets in all.

That’s an average of 40,000 tickets an hour. More than 650 per minute. More than 11 per second. Fans from Japan, Belgium and Dubai lined up to to buy the tickets. One lunatic stood in line for two days. According to Radio & Records:

Chris Edmonds, managing director of Ticketmaster UK, said, “We often talk about unprecedented demand, but this week we have witnessed a live entertainment phenomenon. We have seen a truly amazing level of interest and demand for tickets from fans from across the world for the Michael Jackson shows at The O2 over the last 3 days. The success of the general on-sale today has led to Michael Jackson and AEG Live adding even more dates, taking the total amount of performances to 50. Today, we saw well over 250,000 fans hitting the Ticketmaster site at 7 a.m. for the general sale tickets. This was undoubtedly the busiest demand for tickets for an event which we have ever experienced.”

Jackson is expected to perform his hit song “Black or White,” except this time he will perform both roles.

Michael Jackson announces ten new concerts and one new nose

Nutty former “King of Pop” and one-time black man Michael Jackson announced today that he will perform ten concerts London this summer.

“These will be my final shows performing in London. ‘This is it’ really means this is it,” Jackson stammered. “I’ll be performing the songs my fans want to hear. I’ll see you in July and I love you so much.”

In an effort to be taken seriously, Jackson made his announcement while sporting oversized sunglasses and a sparkly, embroidered military-ish jacket. He also appeared to be sporting a new, even pointier and more upturned nose.

As a sad note to the proceedings, it was revealed that Jackson’s former nose is now penniless and living on welfare somewhere in South Central Los Angeles.

Same rapper who hates Bush thinks O.J. Simpson is “amazing”

Here’s a deep philosophical question for you to consider: Is it possible to be a rap artist without being a complete idiot?

Kanye West, the simple-minded rapper who’s most famous for saying “George Bush doesn’t care about black people,” has offered up a few more brilliant observations. While taping a program for VH1, West recently expressed opinions on a wide range of people he apparently likes better than Bush.

“Can’t we give Chris a break,” he said about girlfriend-beating singer Chris Brown, “…I know I make mistakes in life.”

“Michael Jackson, amazing. Michael Phelps, amazing…He’s a real f%#in’ person. He makes mistakes,” he said in reference to the Olympic swimmer’s recent bong problem.

“O.J. Simpson, amazing. Is he not? What he did, when he did, what he did. Was he not amazing, though?”

Can’t wait to hear Michael Phelps’ reaction to being lumped together with a wife killer, a girlfriend beater, and a child molester.
