Here’s how Nissan USA describes this commercial on its YouTube page:

“Seeing its arctic home melting away, a lone polar bear sets out on a great journey to thank someone who is trying to help.”

Please note that if the commercial had lasted another 30 seconds, we would have seen the starving polar bear’s razor sharp claws eviscerate the unsuspecting Leaf driver, followed by his next door neighbor shooting the bear and mounting its head on the wall of his den.

One other question: If a polar bear can walk all the way from the arctic to suburban America, shouldn’t adapting to a warmer world be a piece of cake in comparison?

Pardon us for stating the obvious, but it’s winter in South America. A damn cold winter.

People in tropical Bolivia are freezing their culos off. The frigid temps have killed an estimated 6 million fish, alligators, turtles and river dolphins.

They’ve also killed any semblance of balanced reporting.

Nature.com has details of the devastating deaths:

Scientists who have visited the affected rivers say the event is the biggest ecological disaster Bolivia has known, and, as an example of a sudden climatic change wreaking havoc on wildlife, it is unprecedented in recorded history.

Got that? It’s the biggest ecological disaster in the history of Bolivia. It’s unprecedented. Never happened before in history.

With such extreme climatic events potentially becoming more common due to climate change, scientists are hurrying to coordinate research into the impact, and how quickly the ecosystem is likely to recover.

Aha! Climate change is the culprit. So to review, the coldest temperatures in Bolivian history are caused by global warming. We should have known.

The blame lies, at least indirectly, with a mass of Antarctic air that settled over the Southern Cone of South America for most of July. The prolonged cold snap has also been linked to the deaths of at least 550 penguins along the coasts of Brazil and thousands of cattle in Paraguay and Brazil, as well as hundreds of people in the region.

Water temperatures in Bolivian rivers that normally register about 15 ˚C during the day fell to as low as 4 ˚C.

Hugo Mamani, head of forecasting at Senamhi, Bolivia’s national weather centre, confirms that the air temperature in the city of Santa Cruz fell to 4 ˚C this July, a low beaten only by a record of 2.5 ˚C in 1955.

First they boggle our minds by saying that the unprecedented cold was caused by global warming. Then, as if that weren’t confusing enough, they tell us that it’s not really unprecedented because it was even colder back in 1955.

All future “climate change” reports should be accompanied by a disclaimer that says, “Reporters may have difficulty keeping a straight face while telling these outlandish stories, but it generally gets easier with practice.”

A record heat wave last month in Las Vegas, Washington, DC, and New York was headlined as proof of global warming. But mum’s the word among the media when it comes to the bitter, record cold wave gripping South America right now.

Argentina is actually colder than Antarctica and Bolivians are freezing their culos off. Even worse, Bolivia’s water-dependent wildlife is suffering tremendous losses.

BoliviaBella.com reveals the global warming cooling losses:

Over 1 million fish (now updated to more than 6 million fish) and thousands of alligators, turtles, dolphins and other river wildlife are floating dead in numerous Bolivian rivers in the three eastern/southern departments of Santa Cruz, Beni and Tarija. The extreme cold front that hit Bolivia in mid-July caused water temperatures to dip below the minimum temperatures river life can tolerate. As a consequence, rivers, lakes, lagoons and fisheries are brimming with decomposing fish and other creatures.

Unprecedented: Nothing like this has ever been seen in this magnitude in Bolivia. Inhabitants of riverside communities report the smell is nauseating and can be detected as far as a kilometer away from river banks. River communities, whose livelihoods depend on fishing, fear they’ll run out of food and will have nothing to sell. Authorities are concerned there will be a shortage of fish in markets and are more concerned by possible threats to public health, especially in communities that also use river water for bathing and drinking, but also fear contaminated or decaying fish may end up in market stalls. They’ve begun a campaign to ensure market vendors and the public know how to tell the difference between fresh and unhealthy fish.

Have you seen this news on the network news (assuming you’re one of the few people still watching network news)? Have you read any headlines mentioning the fact that California is experiencing its coolest summer in decades? Have you read that Australia’s drought is over? Or that the Canadian plains are experiencing the year with no summer?

Probably not. Katie Couric, Brian Williams and Diane Sawyer wanted to report those stories after they reported the record heat in Las Vegas, New York and Washington, DC, but oops, look at the clock. They’re out of time.

Uh-oh. A new peer-reviewed study authored by Dr. Qing-Bin Lu of Canada’s University of Waterloo, calls bullshit on the whole global warming scam.

Actually, the good doctor is more generous in his assessment of the scammers than we are. He says they were merely wrong.

The Financial Post has the red hot details:

Long-term global cooling began in 2002, according to a just-released study in the Journal of Cosmology, a peer-reviewed publication produced at Harvard-Smithsonian’s Center for Astrophysics. Man-made global warming was real and dangerous, the study finds, but the danger has passed.

The study, authored by Qing-Bin Lu, a rising star at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Waterloo in Canada, explains why climate models have been so spectacularly wrong in trying to tie the global warming of the last half of the 20th century to CO2 — the climate modelers fingered the wrong culprit when they targeted CO2. The true culprits, Dr. Lu explains, were CFCs, the now banned substances that until the 1990s had been a refrigerant and propellant to products as diverse as air conditioners and hair spray cans.

Fortunately for the globe, environmentalists had CFCs banned because of their role in depleting the ozone layer, not realizing that the ban was simultaneously solving the global warming threat.

According to Dr. Lu, the phase-out of CFCs will be reversing the global warming effect by ushering in a 50 to 70-year period of global cooling.

As we speak, Al Gore and Nigerian bankers are hard at work trying to figure out how to make a buck on this new global cooling scam.
