In case you are like us and can’t stomach the thought of watching two Gloria Allred video clips in one day, here’s the story:
The Atlanta Braves were playing the San Francisco Giants. Allred’s client was at the game with his two young daughters.
For some unexplained reason, Braves pitching coach Roger McDowell allegedly began screaming “homophobic slurs” at the San Francisco fans. Oh, if only the idiot had stopped there. But no, he is also accused of using a nearby baseball bat to simulate anal sex.
Allred’s client naturally took offense and complained that the coach’s words and actions were offensive to his two young daughters. We have to agree. The irate McDowell allegedly responded by screaming, “Kids don’t f@¢king belong at the baseball park.”
Allred, always in search of a TV camera, held a press conference Wednesday to demanded that McDowell and the Braves apologize and be fined.
Unfortunately, that press conference quickly strayed from the normal Allred publicity seeking circus into the land of the truly bizarre. She read the transcript of McDowell’s alleged remarks aloud while reenacting the event with her client while his two young girls tried to pretend they were somewhere else. Anywhere else.
What happened at the ballpark was bad enough. But we’re still trying to figure out why anyone would subject their young daughters to the humiliation of this press conference.
Apparently Gloria believes everyone wants to be in front of a camera as much as she does.

According to our friends over at iOwnTheWorld.com, lovely Fresno, California hosted the second annual California Cougar Convention last Saturday.
We just checked with Travelocity.com and it looks like there are about 20 flights a day between Los Angeles and Fresno. We don’t know for sure if Gloria attended the convention, but considering how much she seems to enjoy the TSA’s enhanced pat down, she may have flown up just to get felt up.

After getting slapped around a few days ago, Gloria Allred decided – incorrectly, as it turned out – that it would be a good idea to go back on Greta Van Susteren’s Fox News show.
Far as we can tell, the phrase “bitch slap” was created with Gloria Allred in mind. It’s not easy to degrade the legal and media professions any further, but she is able to accomplish both tasks singlehandedly.
After getting slapped around a few days ago, Allred decided – incorrectly, as it turned out – that it would be a good idea to go back on Greta Van Susteren’s Fox News show.
There are a lot of great moments in this clip, but our favorite is Greta saying, “I think she would have been a lot smarter to talk to a lawyer who worried about whether she would be deported than some sort of public statement on someone running for office … You know what, Gloria? The first thing for a lawyer to do is to protect the client, not throw the client out to the wolves. If you can’t protect the client you shouldn’t do the job….”
Anyone think Gloria will stagger back into the studio for round three?

The interview just didn’t go the way Allred expected. Watch the way her smile slowly disappears as the interview progresses. But the highlight is when Greta looks her in the face and says, “Gloria, this is almost delusional.”

Allred claims that the Focus on the Family ad, which features Florida University football star Tim Tebow and his mother, Pam, is “misleading” even though she hasn’t seen it.
The ad reportedly will tell the story of how Pam Tebow decided not to abort Tim even though doctors told her the pregnancy could endanger her life. Allred is threatening to file complaints with the FCC and FTC if the ad airs but does not mention her allegation that aborting the pregnancy at the time in the Philippines would have been a crime.
Kelly poked holes in Allred’s take on the ad throughout the video. She asked whether Allred believes a woman’s right to choose extends to choosing life, why she would object to someone airing an ad with a religious message, and why abortion advocates don’t air a competing ad if they are so bothered by the Tebows’ message.
“As you know, that’s the bedrock of the First Amendment,” Kelly said. “The answer to speech you don’t like is not less speech; it’s more speech.”
But the highlight of the segment comes at about the 4:30 mark. Allred ridiculously in effect argued that if Focus on the Family insists on airing an advocacy ad during a sports event, it should be compelled to air the equivalent of a mini-documentary explaining Philippines law.Kelly’s response: “No ad can tell the entire story about the law as it stands in the Philippines. … It’s just a practical impossibility, Gloria, which would lead many to say that this is a PR stunt by you.”
A word of warning: Never stand between publicity whore Gloria Allred and a TV camera. She will knock down you, Ruth Bader Ginsberg and her own mother to be seen on television.
