Military genius Barbara Boxer says carbon dioxide will be the leading cause of war in the next 20 years

The way we understand her gibberish, veterans are returning from we don’t know where – Afghanistan? Iraq? Korea? Germany? – and pleading with Boxer to save the world from future wars by stopping that damned carbon dioxide stuff.

See if you can figure out what the hell Barbara Boxer is saying in this clip.

The way we understand her gibberish, veterans are returning from we don’t know where – Afghanistan? Iraq? Korea? Germany? – and pleading with Boxer to save the world from future wars by stopping that damned carbon dioxide stuff.

Every time this woman opens her mouth, she creates another commercial for Carla Fiorina.

No, this is not about tomorrow’s World Cup soccer game, it’s the latest diplomatic war that our ass-kicking president has started. Now that he’s completely destroyed our alliance with Israel, his next stop is Britain.

No, this is not about tomorrow’s World Cup soccer game, it’s the latest diplomatic war that our ass-kicking president has started. Now that he’s completely destroyed our alliance with Israel, his next stop is Britain. Our Chicago Smart Ass In Chief, seemingly hell-bent on destroying relations with every country on earth (except Iran, of course), has been purposefully calling the international oil company BP by it’s old name, British Petroleum, a name not in use for the last 12 years. The Brits in this CNBC interview are not happy chaps. Not at all.

But maybe Barry can repair relations with another 25 DVD boxed gift set.

Mike Pence asks Obama a rhetorical question: “Mr. President, whose side are you on?”

Mr. President, whose side are you on? After 17 months of isolating Israel and after 17 months of cozying up to her enemies, it seems like a reasonable but rhetorical question. And we’re glad Mike Pence had the balls to stand up in the House of Representatives and ask it.

Mr. President, whose side are you on? After 17 months of isolating Israel and after 17 months of cozying up to her enemies, it seems like a reasonable but rhetorical question. And we’re glad Mike Pence had the balls to stand up in the House of Representatives and ask it.

Here’s the complete transcript of Pence’s comments:

“We all grieve the loss of life that occurred last week when a flotilla designed to challenge Israel’s effective blockade of Gaza ended in military confrontation. But Israel has a right to defend itself.

“The history is clear in that region; Gaza is controlled by a terrorist organization known as Hamas. Hamas used Gaza as a launching pad for thousands of rockets that killed innocent civilians in Israel. Israel responded with military force and has instituted a blockade that has saved lives in Gaza and in Israel. And there’s no humanitarian crisis. Ten thousand tons of food and medical supplies are transferred into Gaza every single week.

“Remarkably, yesterday the president said it was time for Israel to sharply limit its effective blockade in Gaza, saying ‘the situation in Gaza is unsustainable.’
“The truth is, Mr. President, your policy in Israel is unsustainable.

“The American people are on the side of Israel and Israel’s right to defend herself.

“Mr. President, whose side are you on?”

Yup, we’re pretty sure that’s a rhetorical question.

Prince Charles urges world to follow Islamic “spiritual principles” to save the environment.

Queen Elizabeth’s dullard son says that man’s destruction of the environment violates the tenets of all religions – especially Islam.

Prince Charles is looking for a religion that says the environment can be saved with private jets and luxurious yachts

Whoever invented the phrase “royal pain in the ass” must have been thinking of Prince Charles.

Queen Elizabeth’s dullard son says that man’s destruction of the environment violates the tenets of all religions – especially Islam.

The Daily Mail UK reports the moron’s musings:

Charles, who is a practising Christian, spoke in depth about his own study of the Qu’ran which, he said, tells its followers that there is ‘no separation between Man and Nature’ and says we must always live within Nature’s mean and limits.

‘From what I know of the Qu’ran, again and again it describes the natural world as the handiwork of a unitary benevolent power,’ he said.

‘It very explicitly describes Nature as possessing an “intelligibility” and that there is no separation between Man and Nature, precisely because there is no separation between the natural world and God.‘It offers a completely integrated view of the Universe where religion and science, mind and matter are all part of one living, conscious whole.

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Charles can surround his opinions with all the high-sounding apologist crappola he wants, but let’s be honest here. Have you seen this guy’s wife? If you were married to a woman with a face like hers, you’d also endorse a religion that believes in the burkha.

First job for Obama’s Deficit Reduction Committee: figure out why the cost of the census went up 325%

The cost of the 2010 census has already soared 325% higher than the cost of the 2000 census. There are a lot of reasons, but let’s start with the most obvious one. They hired 550,000 census workers.

census-badge-waste-money
How is the census pissing away your money? Let us enumerate the ways.

The cost of the 2010 census has already soared 325% higher than the cost of the 2000 census. There are a lot of reasons, but let’s start with the most obvious one. They will hire 1.4 million people.

That’s more people than work in the airline industry, electronics and appliance stores, the oil and gas business, the railroad industry, and just a hair fewer than the number who work for all of America’s utilities combined.

The Examiner.com reveals some of the other eye-popping expenses:

  • 3.8 million people were recruited to conduct the census and a total of 1.4 million will be hired.
  • Sponsorship of a NASCAR Team.
  • 425,000,000 direct mail pieces printed in 28 languages.
  • 1.6 million pounds of paper (425,000 truckloads or 341,146 trees).
  • 24 different TV ads.
  • Super Bowl ad – $2.5 Million.
  • An interactive website.
  • Teaching aids for schools.
  • A road tour.
  • Various partnerships.
  • Social Media

Based on its outrageous cost overruns, we humbly suggest that they change the officlal name of this operation from “the Census” to ObamaCount.

Duh! German research shows that young, devout Muslims more likely to be violent

The German government just spent thousands of dollars on research to determine if devout Muslims were more prone to violence than non-devout Muslims when they have learned the same thing by spending 25¢ on the morning newspaper and reading the headlines.

Devout, young Muslims practicing the Religion of Peace.

The German government must have lots of extra cash lying around. They just spent thousands of dollars on research to determine if devout Muslims were more prone to violence than non-devout Muslims when they have learned the same thing by spending 25¢ on the morning newspaper and reading the headlines.

MonstersAndCritics.com has the obvious results of the poll:

The more devout a young Muslim male in Germany is, the more likely he is to resort to violence, according to a federally financed study seen Saturday by the German Press Agency dpa.

The study, based on interviews with 45,000 boys and girls aged 14 to 16, also concluded that male supremacist views and a preference for violent videos and computer games link closely with mosque attendance among the young. It compared Christians and Muslims.

Pardon us while we pause to catch our breath, because we never saw this coming. (PAUSE) OK, let’s go to the big conclusion now.

In a conclusion, the authors said the finding might be explained by hypotheses of Rauf Ceylan, an ethnic Turkish scholar in Germany who studies religion.

They said Ceylan had discovered that a majority of mosque clergy in Germany encouraged their congregations to practice a conservative form of Islam and to preserve their ethnic roots.

Devout Muslims are more violence prone than non-devout Muslims and Christians?

Who ever would have guessed?

South Carolina Democrats nominate unknown, unemployed loser with pending felony obscenity charge

Republicans. They’re more informed. More educated. And, apparently, more likely to nominate someone like Alvin Greene.

alvin greene south carolina
Alvin Greene can run for office, but he can't run from his past.

Those Democrats, we’re often told, are just plain smarter than Republicans. They’re more informed. More educated. And, apparently, more likely to nominate someone like Alvin Greene.

Greene won South Carolina’s Democrat Senate primary on Tuesday, but no one is quite sure how. A lot of candidates get labeled unknown outside their own states, but Greene is unknown inside his own state. That may explain why he won the primary.

In addition to being unknown, Greene is unemployed. He says he paid for his entire campaign with his own funds.

“It was 100 percent out of my pocket. I’m self-managed. It’s hard work, and just getting my message to supporters. I funded my campaign 100 percent out of my pocket and self-managed,” he added.

South Carolina Democratic Party Chairwoman Carol Fowler says blind luck may have propelled Greene to victory:

“[Greene may have] won because his name appeared first on the ballot, and voters unfamiliar with both candidates chose alphabetically.”

Unfortunately for Greene, he is not completely unknown in South Carolina. Police seem to know him pretty well. In November of 2009, he was charged with a felony for showing “adult” photos to a University of South Carolina student. A conviction could mean up to five years in prison and if he should he win in November, that would overlap rather neatly with his six-year senate term.

Greene may become the first Democrat to be convicted before going to Washington, DC, effectively reversing the typical Democrat career path.

UPDATE: We found his Alvin Greene’s inspiration.

He didn’t say the word “Waterloo”, but sure seemed to be implying it.

Official mugs honoring “Barrack” Obama’s visit to Australia destroyed because of typo

Two hundred coffee mugs (probably tea mugs in the land down under) created to celebrate Obama’s upcoming visit to Australia had to be destroyed because they misspelled the President’s name.

australian-obama-mugs-typo

Kevin Rudd, Australian Prime Minister and Barack Obama’s leading international bootlicker, must be embarrassed.

Two hundred coffee mugs (probably tea mugs in the land down under) created to celebrate Obama’s upcoming visit to Australia had to be destroyed because they misspelled the President’s name.

The Australian reports the typographic tragedy:

The mugs were ordered about ten days ago by Secretary of the Department of Parliamentary Services Alan Thompson on the suggestion of some the department’s staff.

The mugs carried pictures of the President’s face with his first name spelt as “Barrack”.

Mr Thompson told The Australian Online the mugs were manufactured in China or Vietnam but the branding had been conducted by an Australian company in Queensland.

However, he has taken responsibility for the spelling mistake and believes at this stage that the error “may have occurred inside the department”.

“We’ve got to take accountability for the misspelling,” he told The Australian Online.

Despite the mistake, two of the mugs were sold this morning before a staff member at the gift shop spotted the error.

The cost to produce each mug was $5 and they were to be sold at the gift shop at a price of $10.

In addition to getting the spelling of the President’s name wrong, the Aussies also got his economics wrong. If they really wanted to properly honor this president, they would have spent $10 to produce the mugs and sold them for $5.

That’s just Obamanomics 101.

The Left’s obsession with Sarah Palin’s boobs

The left is strangely excited by the concept of Sarah Palin’s large, new breasts. And who can blame them?

“Sarah Palin got a boob job! Sarah Palin got a boob job! Sarah Palin got a boob job.”

The Boston Herald reports the left’s latest lame excuse to attack the former Alaska governor:

Alaska’s former governor sported more Northern Exposure than usual at the Belmont Stakes race this weekend, sending the blogosphere into a tizzy, wondering whether Palin is exercising a woman’s right to (bigger) boobs.

Palin and her husband, Todd, were in New York on Sunday to bet on their pick, “First Dude,” named after Palin’s husband.

But it was Palin’s newfound perkiness, not her politics, that bumped “Heidi Montag” and “implants” off the Most Googled list.

Sarah Palin sure looks like she was trotting out some new work at the horse races,” reported the political blog Wonkette yesterday after getting a tip on the Web site’s Facebook feed.

And so began yesterday’s Zapruder-filmlike investigation, as thousands carefully pored over Palin’s before-and-after measurements like seasoned bra-fitters at Lady Grace.

“It could be just a good push-up bra,” offered one local woman in her 20s, who knows of which she speaks.

At least that’s how former Gulf Coast Obamaniacs seem to feel. Metaphorically speaking, that is.

The Associated Press has the heartbreaking details of a love affair gone bad:

The widening scope of the disaster deepened the anger and despair just as Obama arrived for his third visit to the stricken Gulf Coast.

On Obama’s trip to the Grand Isle on the Louisiana coast, his motorcade passed a building that had been adorned with his portrait reminiscent of posters of him during his presidential campaign. Instead of “hope” or “change,” the words “what now?” were on his forehead.

Looks like Barack Obama has only two remaining allies in his theory that you can spend your way out of debt – John Maynard Keynes, who’s been dead for 64 years, and Greece, which will soon assume economic room temperature.

The Financial Times reports the G20’s return to reality:

The communiqué of the meeting made it clear that the G20 no longer thought that expansionary fiscal policy was sustainable or effective in fostering an economic recovery because investors were no longer confident about some countries’ public finances. “The recent events highlight the importance of sustainable public finances and the need for our countries to put in place credible, growth-friendly measures, to deliver fiscal sustainability,” the communiqué stated.

“Those countries with serious fiscal challenges need to accelerate the pace of consolidation,” it added. “We welcome the recent announcements by some countries to reduce their deficits in 2010 and strengthen their fiscal frameworks and institutions”.

These words were in marked contrast to the G20’s previous communiqué from late April, which called for fiscal support to “be maintained until the recovery is firmly driven by the private sector and becomes more entrenched”.

Iceland votes clowns into office. Real clowns, not amateur ones like we elect.

The surprise winners in Reykajavik, Iceland’s recent council elections not only admit they’re clowns, they boast of it.

The EUObserver.com tweaks the winners’ big red noses:

Promising a polar bear for the Reykjavik zoo, free towels at all swimming pools, a Disneyland theme park at the airport and a drug-free parliament by 2020, the newly formed Besti Flokkurinn (“The Best Party”) took the political establishment by surprise when it became the biggest party in Sunday’s municipal elections in the Icelandic capital, Reykjavik, securing six out of 15 seats in the new city council.

The Best Party in Reykjavik was established just half a year ago by a core group of comedians, actors and musicians….

The new party’s slogan is “Whatever Works”. And that’s the official campaign video atop this story.

Here in the United States, we also have a party composed of clowns. And we fully expect the day to come when Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the rest of the Democrat caucus commute to work together and all 256 members of the house and all 57 senators pile out of one clown car.

We may be down right now, but this is the United States, damn it. If Iceland can afford professional clowns, so can we.

Louisiana Senator Vitter calls Obama “Joe Cool.” But it’s not a compliment

His supporters called him The Greatest President In History before he had even been inaugurated. Now the junior senator from Louisiana has revealed his slightly less complimentary nickname for Barack Obama: Joe Cool.

“My personal nickname for the president is Joe Cool,” David Vitter said. “But I don’t want Joe Cool, who’s always laid back and calm and collected in this crisis. I want a leader, I want somebody who’s passionate and absolutely grabs the reigns and takes the reins. The President is beginning to do that more, I’ve seen that ramp up a little bit with the last few visits to Louisiana, but we’re not still anywhere where we need to be in that regard.”

Don’t you worry, Senator Vitter. Our sources at the White House indicate that now that the Paul McCartney concert is out of the way, the President will show some real passion for your little oil spill, as soon as the NBA championships are over.

Lakers in six.

Bill Clinton finally defines sex: It’s when you pay for it

We used to think Bill Clinton was shameless. Now we’re beginning to think he’s just clueless. The former President just signed his name to a Democrat fundraising letter in which he calls Republican Louisiana Senator David Vitter an “admitted sinner.”

We used to think Bill Clinton was shameless. Now we’re beginning to think he’s just clueless.

The former President just signed his name to a Democrat fundraising letter in which he calls Republican Louisiana Senator David Vitter an “admitted sinner.”

The NY Post reports the hypocritical hilarity:

Former President Clinton has sent out a fundraising letter on behalf of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee under his own name warning that Republicans are trying to “derail’ President Obama’s agenda.

Not much unexpected there.

But along with the letter, Clinton has included a flyer from the DSCC that’s bound to raise eyebrows.

“DSCC funds go towards efforts to unseat far-right Republican senators like admitted sinner David Vitter…” the flyer says, referring to the Louisiana senator who admitted patronizing a prostitution service when he was in the House.

Vitter has been a Clinton foe for a long time, calling on President Clinton to step down in 1998 because of his affair with Monica Lewinsky.

So what makes Vitter a sinner in the eyes of serial womanizer Bill Clinton?

Is it the fact that Vitter paid for sex, but Clinton got it for free? Or that Vitter “admitted” it, but Clinton didn’t?

This will rub a lot of people the wrong way: Millions of stimulus dollars going to massage schools

Maybe it’s a good idea to give all our tax dollars to massage schools. Because at the rate we’re going, we’re all going to need a nice, relaxing massage.

Maybe it’s a good idea to give all our tax dollars to massage schools. Because at the rate we’re going, we’re all going to need a nice, relaxing massage.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has the deep tissue details:

Massage and beauty schools, online universities and other for-profit colleges in Georgia and across the nation are cashing in on federal stimulus spending, collecting $2.2 billion in tuition grants for low-income students, public records show.

That represents nearly a quarter of the stimulus money spent on these grants to date.

In Georgia alone, millions of dollars are going to massage schools and beauty schools. Lord only knows how much is being spread around the rest of the country.

Because of how the government is tracking the stimulus spending, it’s impossible to break it down precisely by state. But the records show profit-making schools that have campuses or corporate headquarters in Georgia have received more than $550 million of these stimulus funds.

Among them are University of Phoenix, American InterContinental University, Royal Beauty Careers and Atlanta School of Massage. Beauty and massage schools with ties to Georgia have received $3.3 million through the stimulus program alone.

There may be stimulus involved, but this will not be a happy ending massage.

CNS News has the details on the latest one:

Thanks to an advertiser who wishes to remain anonymous, cars and trucks on Arizona Highway 260 in East Central Arizona are driving by a billboard advertisement that recently went up, bearing President Obama’s face on what appears to be a mock U.S. $100,000,000,000,000 (One-Hundred Trillion Dollar) bill.

The billboard’s caption: “But Who Will Pay the Piper?”

Chuck Perrine of Jones Outdoor advertising in Tucson, Ariz., confirmed to CNSNews.com that his company created the 10 ft- by-40 ft. billboard, which he said “went up within the last month.”

You can see the billboard for yourself by driving to Linden, Arizona, a wide spot in the road about 170 miles northeast of Phoenix.

Now hold on us a gol’ danged minute. We thought this President was cool, calm and collected. We thought he was a Harvard-educated intellectual, the smartest man who’s ever occupied the Oval Office. We thought he was going to resolve conflict by extending his hand in peace and listening to his adversaries.

Nah, that was last week before the polls started to slip. Now that he’s catching flak for his dazed and confused response to the Gusher in the Gulf, he’s turned tough guy. Kind of like that episode of Star Trek where Kirk turned gangster to deal with a planet run by gangsters.

There’s nothing sadder than a Democrat tryin’ to sound like one of those average Americans. Remember John Kerry, that other noted intellectual, sayin’, “Can I get me a huntin’ license here?”

Don’t look now, Mr. President, but the polls are slippin’ again. And phony tough guy talk won’t solve your problem as easily as it solved Captain Kirk’s.
