The kind of hard-hitting interview that will make MSNBC number one…one…one (insert echo sound effect here)

by editor on October 13, 2010

New MSNBC host Lawrence and South Carolina Senate Candidate Alvin Greene. Dumb and dumber. Literally.

O’Donnell apparently thought it would be funny to interview Greene and prepared a series of stupid questions like “Why was your high school nickname ‘Turtle?’”

But Greene one-upped him in the stupid department by answering every question with the same answer: “Jim DeMint started the recession.”

This, of course, offended O’Donnell, because everyone at MSNBC knows that George Bush started the recession. And the War in Iraq. And the Great Depression. And the Boxer Rebellion.

It is rare to have two of the smartest men on the planet in the same room at the same time……..this is definitely not one of those rare moments!

This is like watching matthews interview franken-it all boils down to which of the two is actually less intelligent than the other-and as with matthews and franken, these two make it a very, very difficult call!

The only thing that could have made that clip better was if the “Russian Saber Dance” was playing in the background.

Maybe, but he can’t fix the result like they did here in Minnesota.

All I can say is wow. Every time I see this guy I just sit there with my jaw on the floor. I still can’t comprehend how even the Democrats picked this guy to represent them. Is this a Retarded Manchurian Candidate or what?

Most dems don’t know how he won either. Greene is 1 of the stranger political stories I have seen in my life.

I can’t watch I am embarrassed for this guy… why is he doing this to himself?

I don’t understand it either. What are the chances a black man with little or no experience, who comes from a questionable background and blames the current candidate for all the problems could ever get elected?

LOL. At least Obama has some degree of intelligence and with the help of the teleprompter he at least appears capable of having a conversation with someone. This guy though is an complete imbecile.

O’Donnell… …prepared a series of stupid questions like “Why was your high school nickname ‘Turtle?’”

This is MSNBC, that is one of those hard hitting questions for a democrat candidate.

I think it comes from “Turtle head” which is a metaphor for when you have to crap so bad that a turd starts coming out of your anus slowly and then gets sucked back in as you tighten your sphincter. Like a turtle sticking its head out of its shell.

That must be it with all the sh!t spewing out of his mouth. Or possibly the color of his skin…not sure.

I found it painful to watch — this guy is completely out of his league and should have been thoroughly vetted before taking this on. He’s not real smart and for some reason, finds this funny. On the other hand Alvin Greene did pretty well. /sarc off

A mental midget and the liberal, and the mental midget won.

Sounds like a Stephen King movie.

I demand that Alvin Greene gets a show on MSNBC after he gets his ass kicked by Jim DeMint on election day. This must happen, & my guess is that Special Ed is almost gone, & I think Alvin Greene is P E R F E C T for MSNBC. That would be leaning forward.

I honestly don’t know anyone who follows PMSNBC. I think they have more viewers inside their building than outside. Shultz is a basket case. But I don’t see them throwing him out. The entire company, including GE who owns NBC is looney-left

ComCast has agreed to buy NBC-U, pending regulatory approval. I have a feeling they will want to see a return on their investment. Meaning hosts who are a huge pain in the ass & get crappy ratings might just get the sack. MSNBC is no longer a news channel, it’s a political content channel, & last night’s lack of coverage of the mine rescue in Chile is a good example of that. Obama can’t be praised & Bush can’t be blamed, so instead Lawrence O’Donnell was on being watched by hundreds of people nationally.
