We’re pretty sure that this is just some Zionist trickery. Some evil plot to lure innocent Palestinians into slavery. Some nefarious … what’s that? The statistics were released by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics?

Oh, crap. This doesn’t work with the media’s narrative.
The Palestinian Rock Throwers Union reports an unexpected increase in first time unemployment claims
The Jerusalem Post has the details:
The figures showed that although the Palestinian Authority has banned Palestinians from working in settlements, 14.2 percent of employed Arabs from the West Bank worked in settlements in 2010, an increase by 1 percentage point from the previous year.
According to the Statistics Bureau, the nominal daily median net wage of Palestinians who worked in the West Bank was NIS 76.9 in 2010, while those who were employed in settlements received NIS 150 per day.
The bureau’s Labor Force Survey showed that the Palestinian unemployment rate in the West Bank last year stood at more than 17%, while in the Gaza Strip it reached almost 38%.
To the Palestinians’ credit, the unemployment rate among suicide bombers remains at zero for the tenth consecutive year.
Americans’ views toward the Israeli-Palestinian conflict held fairly steady over the past year, with a near record-high 63% continuing to say their sympathies lie more with the Israelis.
This is not going to sit well in the White House. Despite the best efforts of the Obama administration to destroy the special relationship the United States has always had with Israel, the American people show more support than ever for the Middle East’s only democracy.
Gallup explains it in one short paragraph and one simple chart:
Americans’ views toward the Israeli-Palestinian conflict held fairly steady over the past year, with a near record-high 63% continuing to say their sympathies lie more with the Israelis. Seventeen percent sympathize more with the Palestinians.
Call us crazy, but we’re pretty sure this isn’t the kind of change the Obama administration had hoped for.
During the discussion, which is primarily aimed at expressing solidarity with the Palestinians, Gaddafi presented his proposal for the establishment of a bi-national state called “Isratine” – a combination of Israel and Palestine.
Let us warn you up front that this story sounds like a parody from the Onion, but it’s not. No, unfortunately, this is 100% authentic news.
And then the Libyan leader entertained the U.N. delegates with his spot-on impression of the Rolling Stones' Keith Richards
YNet.com has the weird details:
Every year on November 29 the United Nations General Assembly holds a discussion on the situation in the Middle East.
Usually, the “conclusions” from the event are formulized into a series of condemnations against Israel, but this year Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi managed to confuse everyone and steal the show yet again.
During the discussion, which is primarily aimed at expressing solidarity with the Palestinians, Gaddafi presented his proposal for the establishment of a bi-national state called “Isratine” – a combination of Israel and Palestine.
According to Gaddafi’s proposal, the new state will absorb millions of Palestinian refugees and will be disarmed of weapons of mass destruction.
The initiative, which is completely at odds with the international community’s position on an independent Palestinian state alongside Israel, was received at first as a joke but quickly prompted confusion among UN members.
The United States and European nations immediately announced that they opposed the initiative and demanded to remove it from the agenda – but Gaddafi refused.
The nonaligned bloc, and especially the Arab group within it, did not immediately agree on a voting position, if in fact the proposal is ever brought before the assembly for a vote.
The proposal also managed to confuse African and Arab member states, which did not know whether to object, abstain, or just leave the venue.
Finally, a little comedy relief amid the humdrum corruption that is the United Nations.
The Bush administration wanted to export democracy. The Obama administration only wants to export your tax dollars. After all, the Stimulus worked sooooo well here that its benefits should be shared with the world.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton waves goodbye to 150,000,000 of your tax dollars
VOA News has the story:
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced new funding to the Palestinian Authority and held talks with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit on Wednesday, a day before her scheduled meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in New York.
Clinton said that she and her Egyptian counterpart discussed several issues here in Washington, ranging from Israeli-Palestinian issues to the international tribunal investigating the 2005 assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
“It is important that we do everything we can at a particularly sensitive time in the region to try to redouble our efforts to achieve a two-state solution [to Israeli-Palestinian tensions], to help stabilize the situation in Sudan, and to work to ensure that the people of Lebanon can have accountability in the search for justice,” said Hillary Clinton.
Blah, blah, blah, Hillary. How, exactly, are we going solve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? By giving the Palestinians money, of course.
Earlier, Clinton announced that the United States has transferred $150 million in new aid to the Palestinian Authority to help close its budget gap.
“This new funding will help the Palestinian Authority pay down its debt, continue to deliver services and security to its people, and keep the progress going,” she said. “It will support our work together to expand Palestinians’ access to schools, clinics and clean drinking water in both the West Bank and Gaza [Strip].”
The secretary of state said the funds bring U.S. direct budget assistance to the Palestinian Authority to $225 million this year. Overall support and investment to the Palestinians is nearly $600 million for the year.
Got that? It’s not just a cash bonanza for the terrorists, it’s an investment. That is, “the investing of money or capital in order to gain profitable returns.”
Note to the Obama administration: This investment’s going to turn out about as profitably as the one you made in General Motors. Except that General Motors doesn’t want to kill every single one of us.
We don’t want you to think we’re exaggerating this story. So watch the embedded video to the 2:15 mark. It’s un-friggin-believable.

Sure, it may show an Israeli soldier killing a sweet, smiling young Palestinian girl at point blank range, but what the heck. Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu says the controversial drama Ayrilik (“Separation”) will continue to air.
Davutoglu said the government really has nothing to do with the issue. No, no, no. It’s all up to the state run Turkish Radio and Television Corp, which airs the show.
“This is a matter to be evaluated entirely as part of their broadcast policies,” he said. “Turkey does not have censorship.”
Of course, this comes from a report from the state run Anotolia news agency in a story about the state run television network. But the state run Turkish government bears absolutely no state run responsibility.
“Pioneers of Tomorrow” is a sick, sick Hamas TV program for kids. Over the years, it’s starred a series of cute Disney-esque characters who teach Palestinian children about the glory of killing Jews and dying for Islam in the process.

Those cute, cuddly hosts always end up dying for their “noble” cause. (We’ve always hated Mighty Mouse and wished he would have met an untimely end, but we digress.)
Some unknown wit has put together this montage called “How Will He Die?” that lets you guess how each of the unfortunate characters went to meet his maker (and, we assume, 49 cute, furry virgins).
Here’s a clip of a moderate Hamas-produced children’s TV show in which Farfur, Mickey Mouse’s merry Muslim twin, is murdered by an evil Jew over a land dispute.
Jimmy Carter says Hamas should be taken off our terrorist list. They’re the moderates, he insists.

Might the Obama administration use this clip as evidence that Hamas is still a terrorist organization?
Nah. They’re more likely to be sued by Disney for copyright infringement.
Those two veteran America haters, Reverend Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers enjoy each other's company at a weekend protest
Those two harmless jesters who don’t know each other, never met each other, barely knew Barack Obama, and wouldn’t really know him if they ran into him on a Chicago street, got together in Chicago on Sunday.
Yes, unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers and America-hating Reverend Jeremiah Wright led a group of community activists, clergy and residents on a march “demanding a just solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”
Translation: Screw the Israelis.
“We can’t be squelching viewpoints because they are unpopular or because someone has a reputation through Fox News,” said Caren Levy Van Slyke, a spokeswoman for the group.
Translation: Fox News shouldn’t have told the truth about Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright.
When asked about the event, President Obama said, “Who? Bill Who? Jeremiah Who? I don’t believe I’m familiar with either of those gentlemen.” Then he laughed his ass off and said, “Gotta go. I’m nationalizing a couple more industries this afternoon.”
OK, the previous paragraph is a complete fabrication. But it could have happened.
Just as we were starting to think we’d never find anyone crazier than Hamas, along comes Roseanne Barr. The former star and current lunatic claims Israel is firing those rockets at itself.
This comes direct from her website, Roseanne World.
ohlmert you lie:
you say that twelve rockets were fired into israel since the end of the “war” (ethnic cleansing). Not one Israeli was hurt or killed by these rockets, and now you say you are going to go back and kill more palestinians to teach them a lesson!!!
“I think rockets are being fired by your own sources, since less than ten israelis have been killed by them. You are bullshitting the world as you pocket money made from arms sales, along with bibi and your agents in Hamas. step down all men in power!
Please note that all incorrect punctuation and lack of capitalization comes courtesy of the lovely and gracious Miss Barr.
Our thanks to the good folks at Gateway Pundit for this absolutely bizarre story.
The number of civilians killed in the recent Gaza conflict is dropping almost as fast as Hamas’ credibility.
During the conflict, the Palestinian Authority wailed that Israel was slaughtering thousands of innocent civilians. One of them was supposedly an “innocent” medic named Naim. And the international press dutifully reported every word as truth.
