Bill Nye slams NASCAR in an epic take-down calling it the ‘anti-NASA’
“Here I am trying to envision the smart, efficient transportation technology tomorrow, and there is NASCAR celebrating a very old transportation technology of yesterday. You might call NASCAR the anti-NASA.”
A couple of things there Mr. Nye; chemical rocket technology predates the gas powered internal combustion engine by over seven centuries -even the more modern liquid fueled model has been with us since 1926- and pound for pound the average Nascar vehicle is far more fuel efficient than the average NASA launching system. But you’ve never let facts correct your propaganda before, so we guess there is really no reason to expect you would do so now.
