Obama Uses Commencement Address to Recall Jim Crow: Jim Crow was a system born out of the notion that if enough people agree to it then the rights and properties of certain individuals can be subverted and confiscated. Obama would do well to recall this the next time he wants to use government to achieve the same thing.
