Germany Is Dismantling A Wind Farm To Make Way For A Coal Mine

Germany Is Dismantling A Wind Farm To Make Way For A Coal Mine. We don’t know whether to file this under “Immense Irony,” “Stupid Greentards,” “No Wonder Germany Lost WW2” or “Russia Russia Russia.” Regardless, they should have listened to Trump about not making deals with Vladimir Putin for natural gas.

A wind farm is being dismantled in western Germany to make way for an expansion of an open-pit lignite coal mine in a “paradoxical” situation highlighting the current prioritization of energy security over clean energy in Europe’s biggest economy.

The dismantling of at least one wind turbine at the wind farm close to the German coal mine Garzweiler, operated by energy giant RWE, has already started. RWE says that lignite, or brown coal, has been mined from the Garzweiler coalfields for over 100 years.

RWE also said at the end of September that three of its lignite-fired coal units that were previously on standby would return to the electricity market on schedule in October.

As European fuel crisis looms, Swedish environment minister suggests showering together to cut costs

As European fuel crisis looms, Swedish environment minister suggests showering together to cut costs. Well, here’s an idea Joe Biden can get behind.

Swedish Prime Minister Resigns after “Far Right” Wins Majority. Expected PM “Make Sweden Great Again!”

Swedish Prime Minister Resigns after “Far Right” Wins Majority. Expected PM “Make Sweden Great Again!” When the nutty Swedes have had it, everyone’s had it.

Today, Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson announced her resignation after the “far right” Swedish Democrats and other conservative groups won the majority in Sweden’s parliament by a thin margin, 176 of 349 seats.  This is her second resignation in a year’s period.  Last December, she resigned from the Chair of the IMF’s International Monetary and Financial Committee.

EV Charging Station

US will need to build 478 EV charging ports EVERY DAY for the next eight years at a cost of $35B to meet demand for 1.2M public ports by 2030 (And that’s not counting the 28M needed in homes!) And this doesn’t include the cost of increasing the power grid dramatically. California can’t keep the power on now during times of high demand.

America would have to install 30 million electronic vehicle charging ports by 2030 if half of drivers switch to EVs by the time California‘s ban on gas cars takes effect.

If half of all vehicles sold are zero-emission by 2030, the country would need 1.2 million public chargers and 28 million private chargers by that year – which a McKinsey report claims would cost more than $35 billion over eight years.

European Union Votes to Classify Natural Gas and Nuclear as ‘Green Energy’

Nuclear Power Plant

European Union Votes to Classify Natural Gas and Nuclear as ‘Green Energy.’ How long before the liberal-green brain trust in Washington, DC follows suit? Someone send Vlad Putin a thank you note for waking these green boneheads up.

The European Union voted on Wednesday to keep some specific uses of natural gas and nuclear energy in its taxonomy of sustainable sources of energy.

Europe’s taxonomy is its classification system for defining “environmentally sustainable economic activities” for investors, policymakers and companies. This official opinion of the EU matters because it affects funding for projects as the region charts its path to address climate change. In theory, the taxonomy “aims to boost green investments and prevent ‘greenwashing,’” according to the EU’s parliament.

The vote on natural gas and nuclear energy follows one that was passed in February, which amounted to a referendum on what had been a particularly controversial piece of the ruling. Natural gas emits 58.5% as much carbon dioxide as coal, according to the U.S. Energy Information Association. Nuclear power does not generate any emissions, though it draws criticism surrounding the problem of storing radioactive waste.

Democrats Don’t Want You To Know How Much Fossil Fuel It Takes To Power Electric Cars

Democrats Don’t Want You To Know How Much Fossil Fuel It Takes To Power Electric Cars. Biden gives another win to China and another screw job to Americans.  When is Hunter Biden getting his next check from CCP Xi?

In reality, one of Tesla’s Supercharger stations was reported to get 13 percent of their energy from natural gas and 27 percent from coal. Power plants burn coal to generate electricity to power electric cars and emit a higher fossil fuel footprint than the left would care to admit.

By increasing our use of electric cars, the United States will require more lithium batteries and will further rely on China to sustain our supply. While the current energy crisis could be an opportunity for America to increase our energy independence, the current administration refuses to take advantage.

Trump is correct, forest mismanagement contributed to California wildfire devastation

Trump is correct, forest mismanagement contributed to California wildfire devastation. Short version. Democrats and Greentards: “Like wow man, we just had a bong hit and got a great idea man. Let’s just let the forests grow wild, like back to Mother Nature man.” IHTM: “Um, excuse us, but forest fires are part of Mother Nature dummy. Have another bong hit.” Of course their excuse is the usual suspect – global warming did it.
