President Obama warned Republicans to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with his administration.
“You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done,” he said to Republican leaders attending a White House meeting to discuss his bloated $1 trillion economic stimulus package.
Too many people listen to Rush, the new president thought to himself. After we’re done redistributing everyone’s income, we’ll start redistributing Limbaugh’s radio listeners.

I hate the media more than you know. I don’t hate the individuals in the media. Although there are some disgraceful bastards in it.
Most of America wants Rush off the air. Is he the most popular politcal talk entertainer? Sure. however, the number of people that listen to him is a VERY small percentage of the American populace. Only the most extreme among us listen to him or Savage and other mouth breathers.

Time for the Fairness Doctrine. Anyone that thinks Limbaugh is going to survive the next 4 years has yet to see the handwriting on the wall. In just 3 days Obama has turned the country around from the disaster of extreme conservatism.
I agree with Scy. It’s either the Fairness Doctrine we will see or media diversification (better imo). You think the Dems are going to sit back and do nothing about conservative radio??? Think again.

What ever happened to “I disagree with what you say but I’ll fight for your right to say it?” American had no use for Air America or whatever that liberal radio show was called, but did Bush ever call for it to be shut down or for people to stop listening to it to get along? No. In only a few days Obama has proven himself to be a bigger thug and bully than his critics imagined him to be.
And the media, what with life being so simple after their Lobamatomies, don’t seem to be that concerned that a President is dictating which free speech is OK and which free speech is not.
If the dude can’t handle a midwestern sportscaster turned talk show host, what’s he going to do with Putin, Ahmadinejad, or Jiabao?
Why would anyone who doesn’t listen to a talk show host care whether Rush is on the air or not? Our Constitution protects our right to free speech. Do you support the Constitution, or not?
Big Brother, in the form of the new Dictator, Obama (Barry Soetoro) wants Rush gone because he is afraid of the truth. Twenty million loyal listeners would revolt, and Barry can’t afford that.

I was a moderate but now, as I see how the left are really out to repeal not only the 2nd Amendment, BUT THE 1ST TOO, I`m becoming more the Libertarian everyday.
“Time for the Fairness Doctrine.” – Good, so that means ABC, NBC, CNN, PBS, MSNBC, Politico, Huffington Post & the newspapers will be forced to provide conservative content, right?

Bush was about as liberal as Bill Clinton was except on national security and moral values. He gave the Left everything they wanted. The Dems took over Congress in 2006. What illegal drug are you consuming?

I think Rush is great.He doesn`t just put down Obamma,he is all truth,and tells it like it is.Obamma is not about truth and never will be.He can`t stand it.He doesn`t know what it is.Thats because He has been lieing all his life. When the rest of the world finally finds out the truth about Obamma,He will sink faster then the TITANIC.
“O” looks at Rush as a threat because he educates his listeners. He actually gives sources where they can verify what he’s saying. Rush alerts the listeners to O’s inconsistencies and contradictions, whereas his followers never question what he’s said or done in the past. Everyday is a new day to them and they blank out everything else – they’re zombies. If they would just stop and listen to Rush, they’d find out that he is trying to help them and keep this country from going down the tubes. I’d say the majority of people who say they hate Rush have never listened to him. They just repeat what someone has told them and don’t try to find out anything for themselves. We all know “O” is a habitual liar, especially when he says there’s no earmarks in the so called stimulus. If you can read, you’ll discover right away that it’s mostly earmarks. Some of his blind followers should read it because it’s a real eye opener, however, they all watch the MSM and repeat what is reported. The media use the same catch phrases and the libs pick it up and repeat it. It’s like listening to a broken record. They get giddy thinking that the Fairness Doctrine will shut Rush down. They don’t even know what they’re against but rather what they’ve been told to be against. What are they going to do when “O” wants to silence them one day? If we let one right slip away, there will be other rights that will follow. “O” talks about saving jobs. Well Rush employs a sizable number of people. I guess their jobs don’t count. Frankly, if they don’t like Rush, then listen to something else. Nobody is forcing them to listen, unlike Obama who monopolizes all the TV stations at prime time when he wants to push his propaganda. TV stations lose money when he pre-empts programs but he doesn’t care. More importantly, they should ask themselves why “O” wants to silence Rush. If he has nothing to hide then why is he giving Rush a second thought? How does he know what Rush says on his show? It appears some of his staff is listening to Rush and don’t want the truth to get out. Wake up folks and REALLY listen and analyze what “O” is saying. It would be a blessing if liberals would wise up and look beyond the MSM for information. When a reporter says he gets a tingle up his leg listening to “O,” well that’s just insanity and a real good clue that this guy is pro “O” and will cover up for him.
