Buffett: Tax Hikes On Rich Would “Raise Morale Of The Middle Class”: Of course it would. Those lucky enough to still be in the middle class, after the Buffet policies place so many of their contemporaries below the poverty line, will feel pretty lucky to have survived this corporatist leech’s efforts to get even richer off of their backs and through ever more government intrusion. Of course if Buffet really felt that rich people paying more taxes would raise moral he could always get the party started by paying up on his own back taxes.

I dont need a boost in morale, I just want money in my bank account. Morale boosts don’t bulge up my purse and don’t put food in my fridge. He needs to stop thinking about how I feel and stop wanting others to do something they don’t want.

About the only way Warren Buffet could ever raise the morale of the Middle Class is by dropping dead.

Right on! Let’s raise taxes on the rich and then watch the high morale middle class pay for it in the form of higher prices.

Hey Warren, let’s not tax income, let’s tax wealth. I’m sure you’d support that tax code reform.

I used to work for Buffett back in the ’90’s. I am ashamed to say that and I now would laugh if someone were to shoot this sorry fucker in the face.

The more I think about this comment the more it pisses me off. He thinks that schadenfreude is going to make us all feel better. An analogy would be if 10 uncoordinated teenagers got a thrill out of the the school football star having his leg broken. Now I ask: are the uncoordinated teens any better off? Would the middle class really feel better and be better off knowing that someone whom they don’t know would be forced to pay more income tax? Buffett is a piece of crap.

Um, Mr. Buffett, Sir, um, would you please raise my morale by just writing me out a mere $10,000,000.00 check? That’s all I’m asking. That only amounts to .0043% of your worth.

Brother Buffett, can you spare a dime?

So lets see..Buffet has accountants and lawyers working to keep his taxes to a minimum, he gave Bill Gates a bunch of money for Gates’ foundation to get a deduction and he wanders around telling everyone else what they should be paying? Plus you know damn well any tax on a corporation is going to be paid by the consumer…Buffet is full of shit. The only boost to my morale would be if he got taxed into the poor house and he would then STFU.

Part of me says DO IT! 90% on everybody earning over a million a year and eliminate all loopholes. Give the libs everthing they want and watch the stock market/economy die. But – unlike libs – common sense prevails and I realize that at some point we must say NO to new taxes. Politicians will ALWAYS need more of our money to spend & waste. We either take a stand now or there may be no turning back.

Of course, that tax hike on the rich would be spent immediately (because that’s what they do in D.C.) and then it will be our turn to pony up. I’m not predicting an uptick in my morale anytime soon.

Buffett is a fraud when it comes to paying taxes. His fund owes millions in taxes and he has hired the best tax lawyers to fight the damn bill. Everyone of his take overs and the splitting or spinning off portions has been weighed against what the tax liabilities will be.

If he feels so damn strong about paying higher taxes, he needs to pull out his personal check book and write the IRS a check. He should then stop taking any deduction for himself or for any if his holdings. Either lead by example or STFU and go sit in the corner barry tells you to.

Warren Buffett, you’re a child rapist. Go worship your giant Bohemian owl and let the sane people have a civilization, OK?

LOL,
Ah, The crux. The ‘Owl’ tells them – if they don’t possess and control the entire world or are in the active process of acquiring (at an ever accelerating rate) ‘it’, they are not worthy to be in ‘his’ presence and will be sacrificed.

he could always get the party started by paying up on his own back taxes.

It’s probably cheaper for him to fight this in the courts than to pay it, in the meantime, he’s making money on the tax money they’re trying to get him to pay.
He’s a devious fucker.

If you want to improve the morale of the middle class, gather up all the idiots like Obama, Bloomberg, Reid, etc, and dump them in some remote building in Libya with no weapons and a radio no one is listening to.

Put it on Pay Per View and wipe out the national debt.

Only an idiot BELIEVES that paying taxes is a moral activity. Being compelled to hand over a percentage of one’s earnings to the state only to have it redistributed to those who pay little or no taxes is theft. Warren Buffett has redefined disingenuous with this populist crap.

Tell me about it. Why should we have to bailout Corporate Greed?

If “raise morale” means the middle class likes lay offs, cuts in pay and benefits, and being underemployed while more businesses decide to move overseas and small businesses close.
