Last week we shared a video clip of President Obama just plain making up crap about the history of the Transcontinental Railroad. Chris must have seen this clip and said to himself, “Hey, this job’s a lot easier if you can just make up history to fit your agenda.” So that’s what he did.
In this clip Matthews says that rich people committed suicide during the Depression because they were ashamed of “what they did.”
Chris, buddy, it was raining stockbrokers on Wall Street because they’d lost everything, not because they felt bad about other people losing everything.
But if that’s the story you want to believe, we’re pretty sure there won’t be any convincing you otherwise. After all, you work for MSNBC so there’s no real incentive to tell the truth.
