Euro debt crisis: Eurocrats are terrified of democracy. The EU technocrats are ticked at Greek PM Papandreou for daring to offer his country’s voters a choice. The voters may not always make the wise choice but is there any guarantee that political hacks will? BTW, Iceland told the IMF and the EU to go to hell last year and the country’s economy has recovered nicely. Greece has gone thru two years of sturm und drang with the “help” of their buddies in the EU.
