One mystery of the government shutdown is why Republicans are so apoplectic about the Affordable Care Act, a piece of legislation that aims to make health insurance more affordable for millions of Americans.
Higher taxes, higher prices, lower quality of services, fewer services altogether, drop in quality of life, drop in life expectancy, rationing, long lines, the nationalization of our bodies and a system that is of more benefit to the insurance companies than the people that supposedly can’t be trusted to get health care on their own. What is not to love?
