Gender pay gap in modelling industry sees women earn 75% more than men: Or, more likely, the women are 75% more productive than the men are. Which means that the discrepancy is only nominal. In real terms they are paid the same. We know this is likely true because if firms could move the same amount of product with 75% lower model labor costs, simply by hiring only men, every female model on the planet would be in an unemployment line.

There are NO men in modeling, they are just pretend guys with a rubber penis……If they are that mad, get a job at a circus…the pay would be better.

LOL. Funny thing is, I have a grandson who says his career goal is to be a model. He is awfully good looking I have to admit (takes after me), but I cringe every time he says it. What kind of goal is that? And he’s a sophomore in high school now so it’s getting serious. He’s a damn good hockey player and God forgive me I keep hoping he gets his nose busted in a fight, or the puck smashes into his nose and flattens it, so he will have to find a new goal.

Grandchildren can be a pain in the azz can’t they? I set up trust funds for my grandkids years ago so they could go to college, get an education and a good start in life. What did they do? One grandson is a Marine, just back last month from his third tour in Afghanistan. One granddaughter is in the Air Force doing who knows what. Another granddaughter is getting out of high school next year and looking at the military. I’m glad in a way, and damned proud, they are following in the family tradition of serving our country, but dammit I wanted them to have a chance to really do something worthwhile without risking their lives.

If your grandson wants to be a model, support him all you can. If he wants to be a wrench jockey, tell him to go for it! The main point is he is yours, he is family, so whatever he decides to do you back him up. And he can’t be as ugly as you or he wouldn’t be looking at a modeling career. (snicker)
