Gina Haspel nominated as CIA’s first female director: 5 things to know about the career spymaster. She sounds more than qualified, meaning she should scare the shit out of people like Adam Schiff, Ted Lieu and Lindsey Graham.

*She has been with the CIA for more than 30 years
*She ran the CIA’s first overseas detention site
*She is well respected by former intelligence officials
*She has held several top positions in Washington
*She has won a handful of prestigious awards

One of the facilities she was over was where waterboarding took place after 911. We will be hearing all about the evils this woman allowed from the left and their lapdog media for a while.

Successful, independent, female. The libs will hate her.

Not so silent

I don’t know. Maybe Haspel will do a good job but I have seen to many lifers, career people, screw things up when they got top posts to have much faith in her. The CIA, like all federal agencies, need a lot of cleaning up and the people working there need to reminded of who they work for. But, we will see.

On the other hand, you can’t spend 30 years in the swamp without getting a little damp. It is a good sign, however, that the usual suspects on the Left are aghast.

The top spots in all our intelligence agencies are political appointees and I am always leery of them. Are they going to do the job or go with some political line to keep their job?

I don’t know about her CIA spy abilities but I’ve always enjoyed her on The Talk and in her guest appearances on Big Bang.
