Co2, time to tear this thread down and name a new one. “Trump blows a load on Chuck and Nancy”

Hey JP, or whoever knows how to do it, look up the stories coming out about Schumer and the dumbocraps caving in and will sign a bill to get things going again! I don’t know how do it but the story I read was on the Huff-N-Puff site but the meaning is clear. President Trump wins again!

JPTravis

Yeah, that didn’t last long. Hard to see the point. I think it’s like I said, they all get itchy when the government is shut down because they don’t want people realizing it doesn’t do that much.

All the chicken littles do not want anyone to remember the shutdown in 2013, when their messiah was President. And it lasted 16 days not just a weekend.

I have emailed Nancy Pelosi’s office inquiring into the number of deaths caused by the Schumer Shut-Down.

I’ll let you know how she replies. Er, can we run that cricket GIF again …?

Good idea! My two useless senators are Martin Hinnylick and Tom NoUballs and they are as liberal as they come. Their little news flashes that were coming out in our local news papers, especially the Albuquerque Urinal, have been full of all kinds of gloom and doom. Time to throw it back in their faces.

Oh my God! Day three of the shutdown! The sun rose in the east just like always. When I went to town the bank was open and the ATM worked so I could get some beer money. I filled up with gas, bought beer and cigars with no problem. Stopped at the grocery store to pick up a few things for my old mother, didn’t have any problems. It’s a little to cold to go fishing but if I wanted to brave the elements, face the globull warming crisis, I bet the fish are still biting like they always do.

Yeah, finally a few days above freezing where I’m at. Almost makes me want to embrace global warming. Naw!

The problem we have on the plains of eastern New Mexico isn’t the cold as much as it is the wind! When the cold front came whipping down Sunday we had temps in the 40’s, not that bad, but 60 and 70 mph winds. The windchill factor would cut through you like a good knife!

But all is well now. The wind died down and the day turned out to be pretty nice. All because Chuckie and the dumbocraps caved in and the feral gooberment goes back to work tomorrow!

Hmm, day number three of the government shutdown and seems like the planet is rolling long just fine. Odd. It’s almost like… it’s very much like… how do I say this? It’s like the fucking government isn’t all that fucking important!

Ya know?

And here’s the thing. When you see those fat-ass politicians falling all over themselves and working overtime to end the shutdown, this is what they’re truly worried about–this is what makes them sweat–the thought that maybe we will all realize we don’t need them. That’s why they always end the shutdown so quickly. They don’t want us to figure out the government doesn’t matter.

What jerks my chain is these elected idiots think we are so gullible we believe their gloom and doom bullshit. Unfortunately, there are enough uneducated idiots who get their panties all twisted up so they keep up with the nonsense. Funny thing is, it’s always gooberment employees who get all bent out of shape.

Like National Park employees. They are glorified janitors and tour guides with their pretty little uniforms and smokey bear hats and not much else. My local news said that a few federal offices will be closed today, but none of them are very important anyway. The people that matter, like the Border Patrol, ICE, Marshals Service, they will all be working like normal. And they will get paid just like they did after every gooberment shutdown I can remember. I think 1976 was the first one, I was in the military at the time and our pay was a couple days late is all. Smoke, mirrors, bullshit and political posturing. That is all this shutdown nonsense amounts to.

You’re right I remember it well because a bunch of lower enlisted men (I was a Sergeant E5) said if I’m not getting paid I’m not working…TOP (highest ranking NCO in Unit) had a different view for those guys and the thing only lasted about 3 days if I remember correctly. And of course the no pay no work guys found themselves on the worst details imaginable at that time.

*Looks outside* Nope, the sky hasn’t fallen. It cracks me up, people act like this is the first time it’s ever happened and frankly, I don’t GAS.

The mortgage and utilities are paid, there’s food and beer in the fridge and the white shit outside has melted so I’m good.

Hey, does this mean no mail delivery? If that’s the case, that’ll be less junk mail to throw out. Woo-hoo!

The almost laughable irony is that we’re in more danger when these useless, sell-out pieces of toilet matter are in session than when they’re not.

Just got back from my neighbors and I am blaming President Trump and this shut down because that whinny-assed Brady pulled one out of his butt again.

Watching the anthem being sang at the Vikings/Eagles game and not one person or player is sitting or on a knee that I could see. And the entire field was covered by a giant American flag! I think the team owners and their millionaire crybabies have finally figured out they shit in their own nest with this “protest” nonsense!

It doesn’t make that much difference who talked to who, as long as the players stand proud when our anthem is being played. They need to show some respect for those of us who fought to protect their right to get rich. Especially all the men and women who died protecting that right.

You mean they are gonna refrain from kneeling right b4 the Superbowl so that people would come back and watch some halftime commercials? LOL.

This whole ‘shutdown’ ploy is just another racist, right-wing effort to deny basic services to not-particularly-well-documented immigrants, who suffer disproportionately when the Federal Trough is closed.

You think so highly of all those illegal aliens then you take care of them. You feed them, I have my own family to take care of. You figure out where they will live, I have my own family to think of. And you can bet your liberal ass that my family are all proud, born and raised Americans.

Then, if it doesn’t tax your little brain to much, think about who really caused this shutdown that doesn’t mean crap anyway. Quit thinking dumbocrap and repukicant, use you damn brain dude! The same dumbocraps that will not support President Trump’s plan for illegal immigration were screaming 5 years ago that something had to be done about illegal immigration. When you Lord the Obummer was President! And nothing was done then either, except the 2013 feral gooberment shutdown that didn’t mean shit any more than this one does.

Come on Joe, start using your brain. All politicians are pieces of crap and always have been. Quit looking at the D or R on a ballot. Look at the person who wants to make decisions that have an effect on what happens in your community or on all Americans. Over the years I have voted for a Democrat, a Republican, an Independent, hell I even voted for a green party candidate because I thought that person would be the best person for the job at the time! All I am saying bubba is do not listen to the liberal mantra. Or the conservative mantra. Or any political bullshite from any politician. Use your brain and common sense instead.

Whisky, you need to take your sarcasm detector in for a tune up because it seems to be broken. Did you really believe I was unhappy about the shutdown because it would have a disproportionate effect on illegals?

Jeez, do we really need to label the sarcasm for you?

At another site I used to post on, we would post sarcasm with red print. Around here… we need a different color or font to display when aren’t being sarcastic.

JPTravis

In person, I tend to be dry and sarcastic. Doesn’t always work on the Internet. But after a while you know people here enough to know what their politics are and what they would never say unless they were being sarcastic.

I guess so and it worries me. I used to be able to do the smart ass with the best of them and now missed something so obvious?

Yeah, but CNN says the government shutdown means we won’t see a giant asteroid coming to destroy Earth. Did you ever think of that?

And that’s a real threat because GW has altered the earth’s gravity and it’s pulling space debris and asteroids into our orbit and atmosphere. The galaxy is imploding on us.

JPTravis

That’s the first time I’ve heard about Global Warming affecting gravity but it does make sense. No wonder I don’t jump as high as I did twenty years ago–gravity changed!

It is going to be a terrible day today. My neighbor twisted my arm so I am going to their house to watch some football this afternoon. It took a quart of Jack and a big box of Corona in the bottle to twist my arm but by God he did it!

The feral gooberment is shut down so it will be a terrible day today. I took a couple pounds of catfish filets out of the freezer to take to my neighbors house so we can have a fish fry. With hushpuppies, fries and fish gravy. Don’t ask, if you ain’t southern you will never understand unless I show you.

Yep, this gooberment shutdown nonsense is going to be a terrible thing. Execpt for those of us who have some catfish, whiskey, beer, and a big screen television to watch the football game on. And we are locked and loaded like always so we could give a shit what the idiots in Washingtoon do.
