Main Street Rafters Arrested for Lack of Common Sense. Seems to me it’s a hell of a lot safer to be in a raft than to be standing out in the water doing a report on the dangers of being in the water.

Title of the article is incorrect. The rafters never get arrested.

I dislike this 2.0 business. Go back to the normal IHTM please.

Shouldn’t these cops be out rescuing somebody?

It’s just adding bleach to the gene pool is all if something happens to the two of them.

What would happen to them? They’re in a raft, slowly floating down Main Street. You think the Raft Boogey Man is gonna eat ’em?

You’d think in a crisis the cops would have better things to do.

I’m sure the cops are aware that “lack of common sense” is a job requirement for TV reporters.
