A quick glance at surveillance video taken inside a local convenience store might lead someone to believe the 44th president of the United States committed a crime.Police said a man wearing a mask of President Barack Obama robbed the Sheetz on Somerset Center Drive at about 3:24 a.m. on Wednesday.
Police said the man, who was armed with a handgun, demanded money and left after he was given cash.
He was last seen driving away in a compact gold or silver vehicle, police said.
Sources inside the Winston-Salem Police Department said Wednesday morning that a suspect is in custody. No other details were given since he hasn’t yet been charged.
We suspect that the culprit really was the President of the United States and this was simply his attempt to cut out the middleman.
