The only place people like Queen Nancy is in her home district. Of course, that’s San Francisco, so it’s not really like there are any Americans who like her.
Rasmussen Reports tells the sad tale:
Despite months of haggling over health care reform, voters continue to view leaders in Congress in the same light. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi remains the most well known – and most disliked – of the legislature’s top leaders.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 58% of likely voters view Pelosi unfavorably, up just one point from September. That percentage has fallen in a range of 53% to 64% since Congress began its session in February.
Forty-three percent (43%) view the San Francisco Democrat very unfavorably, down one point over the past month.
The same poll shows that Harry Reed, the Democrat’s top dog in the Senate, viewed unfavorably by 45% of the American people and positively by just 28% (unlike Pelosi, poor Harry is pretty much reviled in his own state, too). Another Rasmussen poll shows President Obama with a -10% favorability rating.
Amazing that a party whose symbol is a donkey should have so many leaders who are horses’ asses.
