NFL’s Goodell: Trump’s ‘divisive comments’ show a ‘lack of respect. Goodell is today’s oxymoron with the emphasis on moron. So Goodell, we have the following question: What’s more disrespectful? Overpaid primadonnas who sit or kneel for the National Anthem or Trump dissing them for being disrespectful?

Kneeling during the National Anthem shows a total lack of respect. Thrusting your damn fist in the air during the playing of the National Anthem is a lack of respect. If things are so f#%^ing bad, I suggest these over paid ass holes give some of their money, some of their time to the communities. Why don’t they go into the “neighborhoods” and encourage the residents there to get an education? Stop having kids when you’re a kid.

The nfl players the owners and goodell have better realize those of us who use to watch and go to the games far out number them.

All you nfl and mlb dick wads who feel the need to kneel don’t be surprised when we feel the need to turn the channel and go to a NASCAR event or a NHL.

You wish to be an activist so be it. I wish to tell all of you to KMA

Guess they’re hoping for social justice warriors to fill in for all the patriots that will now boycott the NFL.

The social justice agitators will want free tickets, food, parking and drinks. Let the nfl players, owners then figure out where they’ll get the money from. Those charter flights are not cheap.

I am stupefied that these angry black players ( who incidentally make up 70% of the NFL ) are actually jeopardizing the source of their outrageous salaries. Can they not see what Kapernick has done to himself? Granted his skills greatly diminished, however when we the fans fought back ( by turning it off ) the teams realized this guy is nothing but a bad sideshow. Have they become so pompous that they think they are untouchable?

They think they’re the only reason people wake up on Sundays, so yeah. They’re self important, arrogant spoiled brats. Stick to doing what you do well(Sometimes), STFU and play football.

The NFL supports the 1st amendment rights of players protesting social “injustice” by taking a knee.

The same NFL denies the 1st amendment rights of the Dallas Cowboys when they wanted to wear decals in support of the five slain Dallas police officers.

Will the “real” NFL please stand up?

Why hasn’t this fool being fired?

Because he makes the owners lots of money. He works for them, & they pay him well.

That may come to a screeching halt with poor ratings and lack of attendance..Roger may be “former NFL commissioner if the poor billionaires who own the teams start having to cut back on their limo rides and shopping trips.

Lost in all this blather over a bunch of unequally-compensated whiners is the fact that once again Trump has yanked the Media’s chain and gotten them all hot and bothered over nothing. It’s a tribute to the basic and utter stupidity of the ‘journalistic community’ that they fall for it every time.

If a player wants to kneel during the National Anthem, he should feel free to do so.
His fine will be twice the amount of his pay for that game. The money will be donated to a Veteran’s Group in the city where the offensive kneeling takes place. The second offense penalty is double the amount of the first, and so on. A good swift kick in the wallet will bring these clowns to their feet.

Can’t fine them for kneeling, but you can penalize the f$#k out of them for celebrating after a play, things would change, no song and dance would kill them

I’m good with that. Pro sports should not be a platform for making political statements.

Goodell is an overpaid clown with his head so far up Kraft and Mara’s ass that I can’t believe there haven’t been accusations of collusion. He’s not even qualified to be a shift manager at Mickey D’s. He’s slowly killing the goose that laid the golden egg because he doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground.

This guy is so stupid it’s amazing he can tie his shoes. That whole thing with Tom Brady was an exercise in stupidity. Then the Ezekial Ammanuel suspension was almost as bad. Meanwhile a guy decks his fiancée in an elevator ON VIDEO and only got a two-game suspension. WTF?

With the Brady thing, Goodell and the whole clusterfuck of highly-paid bureaucrats at NFL headquarters were too stupid to understand the basic physics of how air pressure decreases when it’s cold. Duh. Every ten-year-old kid in American knows that.

And this whole protest business is self inflicted pain–if he had dealt with Colin Kaepernick appropriately in the beginning, this would never have festered and reached the point where nobody wants to watch NFL games anymore. Now he has a REAL mess on his hands. Half the country is going to side with Trump and every future NFL game is suddenly a very unpleasant experience for viewers. But what can he do now? The players will be up in arms if he tries to stop the protesting now.
