We don’t mind admitting that we long for the good ol’ days when Joe Biden was this administration’s official moron. Unfortunately, that role is being usurped by the President.
Here’s the President’s latest Bidenism at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Annual Awards Event in Washington, DC.
“Long before America was even an idea,” President Obama said, “this land of plenty was home to many peoples. The British and French, the Dutch and Spanish, to Mexicans, to countless Indian tribes. We all shared the same land.”
One possibility is that President Obama didn’t know that Mexico declared its independence from Spain on September 16, 1810.
The other more disturbing possibility is that he didn’t know United States declared its independence from England in 1776.
